- At first I was getting ready for the outbreak perfected update, but I found myself digging into the past of the 450 rpm lightweight pulses. In this video i go through the timeline fo them and with the most recent buff, it put them in the spot they needed to be. As i played with them, I had a we ran out of medals with 5 different lightweight pulses AND took one solo flawless. At some point it's a pattern and not just "a feeling". Lightweight pulses are GOOD right now.

You gotta do a return over the notes Rapid Fire Scouts got because Fang of Ir Yut with Precision Instruments is extra scary now. I just think back to your Contingency Plan video from way back and yeah point still stands, you can take the duel, somebody at the range disadvantage is in a lot bigger trouble.

Kill clip possible?
You told me, long ago, to farm the Stay Frosty, and so I did. I have about 5 in my vault with various rolls and NOW IS THE TIME FOR THEM TO SHINE.
Brought out my Ogma pr4 from the vault to fuck around with in trials.
Most fun I've had in a WHILE
I have an old ogma with wellspring and demo. Might have to pull it out for some ability spam.

About to hit 1k kills on my crafted battler. BXR with blunt execution rounds with athrysis is actually criminally slept on
Very limited as you need to get the melee kill within 15m. I feel like most of my arthurs kills are past that.
@@xPureAndTheTaintedx it took me a while of playing to be more proactive with my positioning to make sure it was within its limits but once you get used to being mindful about distance I’ve had good success with it. Haven’t been back more than a month or so but I’ve found it pretty strong on tighter trials maps

@@mr.goochthethird1222idk his build, but run solar hunter with weighted knife & you should be solid. Arthrys is MILES more consistent than void titan shields

@@chillhour6155 The BXR has insane range. It can get up to 38 meters with full bore. You're still looking at 37.4 with hammer forged. That's high impact range. I really wish it had rapid hit in the first column. Killing wind/kill clip is my roll.

Early d2 chattering bone was my go to pulse as I've never really been a pulse guy I usually run sniper sidearm but over the years I've dabbled in pulse rifles and chattering is in my top 3 for pulses love the sight on it and the feel

My buddy and I randomly decided to go double outbreak in cruci (because Outbreak has always been deadly af) and we quickly realized we cracked the code because the 450 autos were pre-nerf OP and all anyone was using. But Outbreak was slaying all of them with ease! We at first were amazed, thinking that we found something competitive against the oppressive Prosecutor meta… and then we kept slaying and we realized we had stumbled upon a newer, secret meta! Hilarious to see our secret discovered and validated all these weeks later! Outbreak gang is eating VERY well!
Been meaning to try Chattering Bone. I have a crafted unupgraded one that just sits in the vault. Watching this video brings confidence that I have found a use for the pulse
always liked the feel of chattering bone...with the damage and range update it's definitely even better!
Also I may not be sure about this but I have the old curated with opening shot...feels surprisingly nice on it. Not sure if it affects the next two shots of the burst, but it just feels to connect better.

Jup chattering bone is one of my favorites. It's a nice sleek model and it shreds.
Finally my heating up/KC nightshade will see the light of day lol. Additionally I have a REAL nice Stay Frosty that I actually farmed because of your suggestion when these were coming out, that never felt good because of all those lightweight issues. Really stoked to try these out next week in some Iron Banner =)
This makes me so hyped!! I love 450’s and love my Chattering Bone and BXR! Also use Nightshade at times!! Only thing I didn’t like was the range falloff so I didn’t use them as much as I wanted! Time to just my crafted CB and BXR back out!!!
Ever since I have been able to craft it BxR has become one of my all time favorite weapons to use in D2

I've been using a nightshade with encore/keep away, and range masterwork, it feels gr8!!!
I was able to pick up a chattering bone with headseeker from the old Kali solo glitch maybe 4 or 5 seasons ago. Decided to try it out and couldn't believe how good it was and felt compared to most pulse rifles
Brother you really love the new guardian games shader! Also, I recently got a nightshade with keep away and head seeker and it blew me away. Also hope everything is well with you, any updates with the pacemaker yet?
not yet. Lots of tests have been done and need to be done still.
The bxr with kill clip and pm is crazy I was dropping people with it over the weekend. I found out in game how nasty they are. Thanks for the video and your recommendations.

Never stopped using them. Chattering Bone has been one of my favorites for years, and my Encore/KC Stay Frosty has been my main squeeze in the crucible since season 19.
Veles-X, comes with Kill Clip as part of the package along with Tunnel Vision. Sounds fun. Also I have a Horror's Least Adept, with Heating Up and Focused Fury. May have to break that out as well.
@coolguygames i matched you today in the new no ability playlist, you had a lunas with subsistence and mag howl and wrecked the lobby. It was on Convergence.

I've always liked pulses, and even got my first D2 hate mail in the beta after using one (back when everyone was after the Nergal PR4). I've used Chattering Bone in Trials a while back and it did well, and I have some lightweights in my vault. I'm not much for PvP but I'll have to give these another try.

I've been using the radiant hunter build today with a BXR that has the blunt execution rounds. I can safely say, its been a fun time.
I remember I thought of bad juju and broke it out of my vault and had a wonderful time with it. Got my super first too so that's always nice, but just going from kill to kill is very nice l. It worked awesomely with devour. Stay frosty is my like favorite feeling gun, and I have a few rolls.
They have been rlly good for quite some time now. Ive been using them for years in pvp. But that buff rlly helped the ones that were struggling compared to the others
I wouldnt put all yr eggs into kill clip incase they make kill clip not 2 tap certain resiliences in the future
Gave Chattering Bone a try again when I realized that Enhanced Kinetic Tremors activates on 9 hits (3 bursts) and can even be paired with Kill Clip on it. Didn't have much luck with Kinetic Tremors in PvP but Kill Clip puts in work. That roll is also pretty awesome in Onslaught. I use it paired with my Buried Bloodline.
I hate relying on Kill Clip in order to feel like I can compete. That perk makes just about everything work and feel better than it really is.

They are still dog except Bxr due to the hipfire helping it close range.
@fotis3v480 in a 1v1? No. In a 3v3 environment? Yes. I have no issue procing kill clip in trials or comp.
I wouldn't say they're dog, but they definitely better now than they have been.
I liked the red bar last wish weapons from mar sov. I planned on crafting the chattering bone but just don’t feel like doing the red bars. I need to get those done so I can craft that beast
I will soon use my chattering bone again I was using it before the buff just because I like it and feels like the best pulse to me just wasn't as competitive vs others but now it gonna do well finally

So funny. I crafted a chattering bone earlier this week out of boredom and took it into crucible. Couldn't believe how good it performed. Might have to try it with kill clip. I put keep away and head seeker for range and accuracy because I was assuming it was going to lack in both range and damage. But it stays on my top slot for now.
I have a really old outlast with Zen moment and kill clip in my vault so I’ll deff give it a try
i have gone flawless exactly once in my 1500 hours of playing. i did it with stay frosty, honestly the whole sub family is goated and im very surprised i dont see more of them on the field. They're so snappy and easy to use it sometimes feels like i have to actively try to miss heads.

I used my crafted Chattering Bone on Trials and man… it feels so good! Best lightweight frame Pulse in my opinion! I recommend the people that don’t have it crafted better do the first encounter on the last wish and farm it until tomorrow!

Been a Chattering Bone lover for ages, even when it first came out. I love my rampage kill clip roll.
Edit, just because I had a fond memory: I remember playing on Equinox, one of the old Trials of the Nine maps, and I had just finished my VERY first Last Wish after so much Forsaken grinding. Around this time I had gotten more into PvP, and thats when I fell in love with chattering bone. I remember fondly pushing the left-middle room with the three entrances and deleting Guardians with their luna's howl.. Great times.
Ogma is a top tier gun with demo/wellspring. Paired with my veritys brow build I'm torchin folks with it and my nades lol stay frosty is good too! Moving target/kill clip or golden tricorn is a crazy combo ESPECIALLY since both have that omolon stability origin perk!
CoolGuy, I'm going to recommend you something that's an adaptive, farm for a Third Axiom with Zen Moment Rampage. It may not be as fast as lightweights but it's equally as slept on as them.
got my first 40 bomb with a Stay Frosty with moving target headseeker. wish i got a kill clip one but its still fantastic even without. gonna have to try the BXR soon

Been using Encore + Kill Clip Stay Frosty since you first recommended it two Dawnings ago. As an average PVP player that thing does work.
I’ve been using outbreak for a handful of months now just because and it was pretty damn good. It could hold its own quite well. I never thought it needed a buff. But here we are and now it goes crazy. Not to mention the reprised outbreak coming soon 💀

Obviously the BXR is a staple, but I'm excited to try out my Stay Frosty with hammer forged, rico rds, moving target, kill clip, and range MW.
I tried to use it before be the muzzle flash made it so annoying. The little bump in damage should make it nasty.
The range on BXR currently feels wild ... The only ranged dual that has been an issue for me is scout

Love my bxr, got a demo and incandescent roll years ago during the event with the star horse and vaulted it. Glad I did as this season solar is OP AF! Running that with ace of Spades and sunbracers literally clearing ads and creating explosions and spires like a madman. Can prok grenades nearly constantly and ids just a big fire show melting everything in sight, been a few times I thought it was going to crash the computer there was that much going on, on the screen 🤣
I know they haven't been good in a while, but they've always been my favorite archetype of pulse. Glad to see they're cooking!
Dude when outbreak is craftable I think it's going to be crazy, it's a net gain on most stats, also it doesn't need too much stability since it has AR recoil, su bumping off all other stats and headseeker, might be too good
I've been trying to get a specific Nightshade since like 4th week of season of the Witch. Been dumping all of my engrams into it, and never got it. A perfect reason of why this game actually need crafting.
Smallbore, ricochet, keep away and KC with range/stab MW. This thing just doesn't want to get anywhere close to me xD

Outbreak is my favorite weapon. The fact that depending on what it look like in play that Rapid Hit could be best in slot or very serviceable in both PvE and PvP… Headseeker could be absolutely brutal (but might not move the needle) in PvP… and assumption is Rewind Rounds will go nuts for heavy target/boss DPS (if you need to resort to a primary on a day 1 or something)…
3 crafts of it might be in order.
I’ve got over 1000 kills on my current Ogma. My clan mates give me a hard time because my default pvp loadout was always Ogma and Travelers. No kill clip but it feels good with heating up / dragonfly.
This week has been brutal for me! With Brave weapons arrival I FINALLY cleaned my vault. Sharded maybe 15 sunset favs and a bunch of weapons like these. T_T
My clan ran PMs about three or four weeks ago, and I’m just terrible at pvp, so I was trying all kinds of different things. I had a headseeker Chattering Bone that just felt good. I couldn’t craft it before, but now I can. Maybe I must.
I saved two sunset 450's just incase. Looking forward to using my kill clip/feeding frenzy Blast Furnace and my demolitionist/swashbuckler Infinite Paths
Stay frosty has been a favourite of mined since day one, glad it got even better
BXR has always been solid and only gotten better with the buffs since it came out
Nightshade was one of my favorite guns early d2.
Calling now: headseeker outbreak is going to DOMINATE trials.
Headseeker is good consistency, but the nanites off of a precision kill are gonna be *devastating* for teams trying to get the revive.

The stay frosty w/ desperado is extremely fun rn, even though not as lethal, still quite entertaining
I held on to an Encore Headseeker Stay Frosty and a Perpetial Motion Headseeker Battle Scar I'll have to play around with.
Lightweights haven't felt bad since their Witch Queen buff, it's just that rapid fires are so much easier, while the slower ones offer you a higher reward.
Also, unless I'm mistaken, this rate of fire (before they were called lightweight) had close to the best pulses for a very long time in D1. There were a couple of Suros ones (Hawksaw and PDX-some number, I want to say 45) and a Trials one in Rise of Iron that were just ridiculous overall. I think they're feeling somewhat like that nowadays.
Yes! in d1, the Hawksaw fell under this RPM. still one of the greatest crucible guns to grace d1.
Pretty sure Hawksaw was a 390.

MW is still level 1, zero kills on the tracker. Dont think I've ever even equipped it.
Might have to dust it off and try it out when i get home :-)
He forgot to mention the BXR’s intrinsic hip fire perk, which means you don’t need a sub machine gun at close range. It can do it all with kill clip
