I have lived in UAE for 25 and moved to USA since past 6 yrs. I am from Delhi . I had to make emergency visit yo India last week. It is as hot as Dubai or Qatar but in India you get baked even with Ac in all bedrooms. Infrastructure is still poor . In most countries there is central cooling everywhere but not in India. There is so much dust and heat that there is no way you can avoid falling sick even if you eat light home cooked meals. Other than my mom and sister I miss nothing abroad.

Delhi is not India brother 😎
I am from Hill state of Uttarakhand, Nainital, currently in Pune.. No heat waves, no AC needed.
In my state, Himalayas there is no pollution and fresh clean air and water we get. ❤
For me, I will never leave India

@@rv8044 I lived in India, UAE and currently in USA. My feelings are same. Infrastructure, corruption, quality of weather in cities, cleanliness etc, are major issues in India, we travelled first class from Bombay to Goa by train and a cockroach crawled over our blanket! There's still a long way to go for India!

Very interesting interview and I can relate to some of the information provided (I moved 39 years ago to USA). But back in those times we adjusted to what we had. It wasn’t so much about what we had versus what the new generation has. I also grew up in IIT, and saw life back then and now - the changes are no different in USA than what people living in India experience.

Now the latest survey has come across the globe more than 75-80 % of the Indians want to come back to India post 65th year of their life. Even for citizens reaching/getting/availing medical facilities are pathetic as I hear from many. आप तो वापिस आना चाहते है परन्तु आपके बच्चे नहीं। उनका वहां emotional bond नहीं है, दोस्त भी नहीं है। 😊

They leave their parents with siblings, and lead a comfortable stress free life, and the siblings in India take on full responsibility for aging parents. This is a standard behaviour, no matter what they say. They develop great deception skills on spinning stories of missing family etc etc. But they come to India only to enjoy hospitality of relatives

These people don't know how it is as you get old here in the US and have health issues. Healthcare costs are astronomical as we get older and need more care. They are young and have no problems. I am in the US for 28 years and talking from experience. There is no place like India when you are older and have no energy.

    • @chitpat

@charlottefx7163 Read about bankruptcies due to medical bills. Long-term care is $12,000/month approx as Medicare doesn't pay everything. There are lawyers who help. Medicare starts after 65, if you have serious illness and less insurance, it is hell.

IN INDIA DOCTORS SUCK YOUR BLOOD IN STAGES AND AT LASTLY HANDOVER YOU A BIG BILL TO PAY ,
IN USA YOU PAY THROUGH YOUR INSURANCE POLICY AND THAT ALSO DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH FEDERAL TAXES YOU PAY.
NO ONE WILL GIVE YOU FREE OR EASY TREATMENT THESE DAYS JUST SEE CANADA , EUROPE UK ETC .

Both the M’s were honest & grounded. What I like most was , the Xtra 😂accent that our dear desi s so quickly adopt was totally missing in these two
PS : They can give grooming classes to your husband s brother .. who has that fake excitement pasted on his face all the time .
Prashant , is a cool guy , but isn’t able to guide his own brother 😄

Very nice vlog. Actually gave lot of clarity. Please do also explore the avenues of doing LL.M from USA. Please do have interviews with people who have done LL.M from there or are students of LL.M or JD.
Will be happy to hear their perspective as well.

As for life in usa and india it cannot be compared. Indians don't return to india they work in usa n spend time in india with the money they made in usa they have more value for their usd in india. They don't retire in india again they spend few months in their Vacation homes in india that they bought with usd while they were working in usa. All indians abroad use these strategies they don't return to india for good. May be a few who cannot cope with life abroad not the majority

I think it’s majorly when parents get older and are sick and you want to be with them, u wish you were closer. Else life is very peaceful and beautiful in US. You can have all the luxuries. Initial years will be struggle but once you sail through that it’s pretty relaxed.

First of all money is not at all a thing or criteria for moving ....its much more to that which can never be obtained in India.......
have a peaceful life, good work life balance, zero judgemental environment, clean surrondings and air, negligible involvement of politics in citizens life, things or processes/ tasks dont much easily and in aproper way not need to bribe or cut lines, bring recommendations all have to go through same process, simplicity in life,no show off,no need to buy tonnes of expensive clothes on every ocassion,no need to spend tons of money to impress your neighbours and family relatives, infact less/ simple is more, travel transport roads are awesome, safe environment, non patriarchal societies its common in maximum countries, diverse people coming together to enjoy and learn other cultures take time to understand others.....its still finding joy in simple things in abroad here people not yet made there lives complicated willingly like in India. Silly things like maid nahi hai, cook nahi hai these all overweigh bohot choti cheezey hai yeh.
