I personally think this song is about a school girl that started taking drugs. She didn't even notice how addicted she was to them until she noticed how much danger her health was in. She tried to stop, because she knew how the drugs were affecting her and her future, and she became depressed because she couldn't stop taking the drugs no matter what she did. Soon, she died from a drug overdose. I think what she meant by "I will never be the princess that I want to be", is that she is saying she will never become the person that she wants to be because she cannot stop taking the drugs. That is just my interpretation of the song, I am not sure if that is right though.

That's a great theory! I have some too:
1. It's about a girl who is getting therapy and she is remembering her childhood.She remembers the start happy but as she got older it got worse.Thats why she only remembers tears and skipping class.And plus at the start it says "welcome to hell" , because her childhood was hell.At the end she explains how she feels about it.That she never had the childhood that she wanted and that it ruined her as a person.The only reason the doctor says she can't be cured is because therapy can only help except yourself not erase your trauma. And she says that she wishes to go back in time to go back when everything was fine but is usable to do it.
2. She has a mental illness and instead of exepting herself she thinks is a curse and she will give anything to get a cure.Thats why in the song it says she can't do anything about it and is not curable.At the start she has a normal life and then she gets a mental illness and all she remembers is tears and having to skip class because she has a mental illness. She explains that she never got to be a princess aka a normal person.She also says she wants to go back in time when she didn't have a mental illness.
In both cases the music represents the horrible things she experienced.And in both cases they did some horrible thing because of their past such as cutting themselves or use their bad past to get away whit somethings.

i think this song is about drugs. The mushrooms were the drugs, the first part was her thinking drugs were ok, and the warning at the end was her realizing it was bad bc during the whole thing she was tryna figure out if the drugs were good or bad.
