    By far the best and most thorough video I've seen as a complete beginner trying to learn how to put everything together. Most other videos I've seen before this are extremely brief and don't do close up examples with each wire and where to place them or bother showing the actual plug-in process.

    I have the same PSU. Now the GPU i have has 3 pci connectors. I found it weird that the PCI and EPS ports are some how inter changeable. But to do it. I have to put the pci in the first port and the EPS in the second port this is where it says EPS. Or the pc wont boot. The 6800xt i have has 3 PCI connectors.
    It took me a while to figure out

    Maybe a dumb question, but you said you only had 3 PCIe/CPU cables @3:35, then where are you getting this cable from @8:36. That's the only one you don't show on the PSU side. How were you able to run 3 to the motherboard and 2 to the GPU?

    How many of those SATA power cables it comes with? 4? Corsair claims 14 SATA power connectors, so 4+4+4+2? I'm interested because I have 3 sets of drives in difference places, so just two cables wouldn't reach all of them.

    damn they went rather dull on your case, my psu came completely surrounded by styrofoam, and the cables came in a cool corsair velcro pouch. Perhaps the "x" variant has that, not sure. Great vid! helped me install my psu. Was looking up to it but your vid made it a lot easier :D

    do not waste money on 750w PS. get 1000W or higher. nVidia 4000 series are drawing 450w all buy themselves. you should Not run a PS at 100% load. you need headroom for future updates.

    • @TheProvokedPrawn
      @TheProvokedPrawn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You are making big assumptions as to what people are using. I already said to check wattage use with the calculator. But not everyone will be running a high end 40 series.

    • @leafbelly
      @leafbelly 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Many of the 4000 series cards actually use less wattage than the 3000 series. The 4070 only draws 200 watts. A 1000 watt power supply would be the waste of money.
