    I am a chronic cervical instability patient because of car accident. I must say if i did't see these educational videos, i would have lived in pain for the rest of my life. So i feel so empathetic when hearing the Peggy's story. There are some symtoms that makes me suicidal, that's true! Thank you for all of you and great efforts on cervical research. Hat off !

    I"m left handed. For 45 years my left hand/arm were partially disabled and extremely painful I asked several dentists if there was any connection with my jaw and they all said 'there's no connection.' Finally a dentist agreed to look closely at an Xray of the left side of my mandible. He saw a root of my first molar impinging on the mandibular nerve. As he was hemi-sectioning the tooth, I felt total relief the nanosecond when the root was lifted off the nerve. That was about 12 years ago and my left arm, hand and shoulder have had no problems since then. It has taken all these years for the muscles of my left arm and hand to almost recover from being severely wasted. The strength isn't good but it's better than the agony I experienced before the hemi-section.

    Dr. Hauser, finally I understand why my head wobbles. Started about 25 years ago. Chiropractor said it was a muscle spasm in the neck. At 14 I was following behind a hay wagon, my brother threw a bail of hay on top it fell off the back and hit me on the head. Drove me to the ground, knocked the breath out of me. Years later after giving birth 3 times my neck and shoulder pain got really bad. All that lifting children, housework, etc. stress and tension of raising children. An x-ray (2007) showed no 6-7 was slightly out, was getting electric like shocks in right upper arm. Was given exercises to do but I didn’t always do them. At 74 learning from you I’m following your advice, doing exercises, doing better, won’t take those drugs, too many side effects.

    Thank's Dr Ross, you have just answered the problem that I have with ET, I will not accept medications for the symptoms, I want to know the cause. I had an accident while parachuting in the military, I was stuck on the port side of the aircraft by the helmet, and swinging by my neck, but after about 5 minutes, I was able to release the strop from my helmet and land safely. I have had problems with my neck for over 60 years. Thank you.

    I was doing some yard work and the more I reached the more tremors. I sat down over exhaustion. My hands and arms were like earth quakes. I couldn't even get my coffee cup up to my mouth the way I was thinking. I take Meloxicam and pregablin. I have herniated disc 6 mm and slipping disc, sciatica, white vessel disease, cervical stenosis scoliosis and fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and I'm 52. Just recently applied for SSI/d. Finally found a job in housekeeping and they want us on our hands and knees. It seems any healing I had for a year off has been lost. This morning tears unlimited and rocking to sooth the nerve damage / sciatica. I'm miserable. The drugs are just blindfold. I really am upset by this world's demands on my time. My cat and other test shows some paralysis in my leg inertia. Sorry for the spelling. I can't even focus on an idea of a computer job either. I was a cashier at a self checkout for 7 years and the twist and reach. Thank you for what other doctors don't have time to tell us. Thank you.

      Hi Nanidogmom Stevens, Good question, and we figure that out for patients individually during their diagnostic testing where we analyze the blood flow out of the brain at different areas of the neck while in the person is in different positions. We don't recommend stomach sleeping with a traditional pillow tho because of the excessive rotational forces it puts on the neck, so most people end up doing best in some kind of side or back sleeping position. Thank you for your kind words and we wish you all the best in health!

    I've been living with many of these symptoms but the ears are my most bothersome. I did ten years of PT myofacial release and cranio Sacral therapy. But I'd keep need ing treatment. Nowadays I'm stuck in bed a lot more than I'm out of bed. I spend half my day or more with a sleep mask covering my eyes. Once I'm tired enough to be in bed I really can't do anything productive, I call it a crash. Sometimes I crash for 1 to 2 days after using a car. I suspect the bumps in the road are aggravating my body. I'd love to try prolotherapy to see if it will help me.

    Thank God...I don't know big words but I knew someone did... I have been working on myself for years .I didn't know how bad off I was physically until I went to massage school. I've been trying to tell everyone about nerve function and how important it is that your muscles and spine health are good. If the nerve is not working due to being smashed. No pill will un squish , contractions are a huge problem. The fractal implications.contractions, squish nerve, malfunction somewhere, no flow inflammation,ECT. No pill will fix that it will only shut something off. Confusion won't let the brain shut off. Trigger points allow us to ignore emotional chemical and physical pain. No pill will eliminate trigger points. . Awareness will ,self care, stretching,full range of motion, breathing is key som important for flushing the blood and relaxation and oxygen to all the cells everywhere..is what the body calls for not pills. You get to the scientific awesomeness....we need this in kindergarten... children will absorb this .. please share with everyone

    Thank you Dr. Hauser. I think this is what I have, and btw, I was born in Ft. Myers. I've actually been in Bali for the last few years. Do you know anyone here who can help me? Do you have any videos in what movements, or you mentioned how one should sleep, in how I can help my condition. After watching your video and and a few other videos, I'm 99% (because in science you can never be 100%), sure that I have postural essential tremor. And it's mostly in my head. I also went to the doc a few months a got and got an xray. I had compression in my neck and she suggested physical therapy but never mentioned essential tremor. Everything you said makes complete sense, even talking about the gama etc. that lines up with the other videos I saw. this all boils down to 2 questions. 1. Do you know anyone I can go to here in Bali...or Indonesia... or even Korea, I might go there, that I can go to for physical theropy/chiro? and 2. Do you have any videos you made that talk about any movements or sleep positions I can do at home to help my curve?

    Hello Dr. Hauser I just came across this video! You are the first Dr. To exactly describe my situation with essential tremor? I’ve had it since my early 30’s and I am now 60. It has progressively gotten worse. The thing that hit hard for me after all these years is you mentioning cervical pressure. I recently had an mri on my neck due to pain. The dr. Said I have degeneration in my cervical spine. Now I’m thinking this is where my issues are? How can I confirm this? Thank you!

At your first appointment you would receive a DMX, cone beam and ultrasound, all of which can help determine exactly what is wrong and how it can be treated. We see from a previous comment that you are from Canada. We do have a lot of patients that are outside of the US and we would absolutely love for you to be one of them! We are so sorry to hear this - we have found that tremors are often a symptom of cervical instability and is starting to happen to younger individuals due to the face down, forward head posture lifestyle. Have you been evaluated yet?

    Anyone know how head and neck radiation affects the neck? I had tonsil cancer 11 years ago and underwent a neck dissection plus removal of the tumor in my tonsil during a 7 hour surgery. I then suffered through 30 radiation treatments. Having issues with balance and diagnosed with cervical dystonia. Brain MRI showed possible fluid on the brain. Thoughts?

    Hello, I am Shadi. I am 48 years old. For 2 years, after a shocking incident, tremors started in my back, spine, and heart, and gradually affected my legs and hands, and then severely affected my head and neck. I also found blurred vision and imbalance, some neurologists diagnosed MS and Parkinson's. Because this disease is prevalent in my mother's family, unfortunately, it has become very difficult for me to do daily tasks and I can't be in the community because of this, I suffered severe depression and tried to commit suicide many times, but I gave up because of my little children who need me. Please help me. Can my problems be from the pelvis and cervix? Or is it a hereditary problem or caused by my excessive stress? I have tried all kinds of medicine but nothing has worked long term. thanks

      Hi Shadi, thank you for sharing part of your story. We are so sorry to hear that you are dealing with all of this and haven't gotten any answers. As much as we would like to give you a clean cut answer, we cannot give a diagnosis without doing an evaluation. It could be possible that your accident caused cervical instability, resulting in these symptoms. We would absolutely love to help you on your road to healing and get to the root cause of your symptoms. We understand that travel is not feasible for all but if you find that you can travel to FL we are accepitng new patients.

    Im 24 and I’ve had tremors of the face and neck for a long time now, which came on after years of suffering with BFS (body wide fasciculations) that continue to this day. The tremors are quite mild in the grand scheme of things, but have completely destroyed my social life. I was diagnosed with ET by neurologist a few years back and prescribed propranolol, which didn’t help much at all, so I stopped taking them. Would this treatment be effective for mild tremors such as mine? Thanks in advance.

      Hi Tommy, Thank you for sharing your story, and it is not out of the realm of possibilities that there is a connection between the neck and your tremors. Glad you're looking into some possible answers since the other treatments were not effective. If we could be of help to you here in our center in Fort Myers, FL, we'd be happy to. If you would like our team to potentially review your case in more detail and see if it sounds like we can help, you're welcome to reach out to us directly. We wish you all the best in health!

    what can be done , a neck brace or what

    • @CaringmedicalProlotherapy
      @CaringmedicalProlotherapy  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Great question @elizeleroux6388! There are times when our patients need to wear a neck brace while receiving treatment. In the event that the tremor is due to cervical instability - prolotherapy can be done to stabilize the area.
      There are a lot of great resources on our website - Dr. Hauser wrote an article about this topic, here is the link if you'd like to read more. www.caringmedical.com/prolotherapy-news/essential-tremor/

    So u treat only essential tremors with cervical instability or any one who have essential tremors can walk to your clinic?

    • @CaringmedicalProlotherapy
      @CaringmedicalProlotherapy  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! A common symptom we see from patients with cervical instability is essential tremors - during your first visit you would receive a DMX, ultrasound and cone beam to help identify why you are experiencing your symptoms. Dr. Hauser would then look over all your testing to determine your diagnosis; where and how severe your instability is, etc and determine a treatment plan!

    Can neck problems cause finger twitching?

    • @CaringmedicalProlotherapy
      @CaringmedicalProlotherapy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello @pedrofalcon2971 - Unfortunately cervical instability can look different for a lot of patients. It affects the functioning of not only the cervical nerves that innervate the muscles and skin of the arms and hands but also the autonomic nerves that control blood pressure, heart rate, digestion, immune system function, breathing, and energy levels.
