I made fun of the "Georgy Girl" song back in the 60's, you know back when many of us were “hip” but several years later, after the hipness faded, fell for this lady and her music and her great disposition. I have several of “The Seekers” and Judy’s songs in my car and listen to them to instantly be transported to a beautiful world.. Thanks Mrs. Durham, wish you a full recovery!!! Very much a fan for life!
“Seeker’s” my favorite group growing up, and Judith made the group. Beautiful lady with a heavenly voice! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND MANY MORE! Happy Birthday and many more!
The World has been blessed by the music of Judith Durham and the Seekers, and as I watch clips of Judith in concerts, interviews, & tributes, I can't help notice the wholesomeness, purity, goodness, and happiness that shines within her. I can't imagine her ever being angry, or having an unkind word. This is how life is supposed to be.
haven't always been a Seekers fan.......everyone makes mistakes . What I didn't realize was this lady can flat out sing , and these 4 have been top shelf for a long time . My prayers and best wishes on a full recovery . Thanks from a short time fan....
A beautiful soul. Gotta love that ever - present smile, so graceful. Also love the relationship which was always evident with her three big brothers in the Seekers. They always seem so caring and protective of their little sister. It's sweet, and it warms my heart.
God bless Just started playing "I'll never find another you" for my wife and found it precisely the kind of meaning I wanted to express. Thanks so much for the music and best of health to you.
The Seekers, especially Judith Durham has brought hope and happiness to so many with their music, it is my fervent hope that they will have the satisfaction of knowing their music rang in the hearts and minds of both the young and not so young in times of war and peace over the years.
Judith, you may not see this, Nevertheless you will always be one of my favorites. Thank you for all the lovely songs that you have shared throughout the 60's. Each song is a blessing. Hope you are doing well. You are such a lovely human being. God bless.
I had no idea Judith had suffered a stroke. Not only is she a wonderful person with the singing voice of an angel but she is a strong, brave lady aswell. I therefore find it all the more amazing The Seekers will be in London this month.
Boy, am I glad she recovered from a brain hemorrage! My Grandmother had one several years ago and she could not speak clearly after that, she only mumbled. I only hope Judith shall recover fully and be able to Sing for us all again. MAY GOD BLESS HER.
God bless you Judith, thank you for the many blessings throughout the years...you're singing and dancing with the guys still makes me happy...Happy Birthday too:)
We played The Carnival is Over as everyone left the church at my dad's funeral in 2002 because he loved her singing. What a voice, what a person, what joy. I'm going to choose one for when I go. She uplifts the spirit, calms me down and reaches parts very few singers can.
Dear Judith: I will probably never know if you receive this note, but here goes: I married the love of my life, Marge on 03/05/35 and we had 60 joyous years together, as she died 10/01/14! In a significant part to your beautiful music: "A World of Our Own" as No.1, and "George Girl" as No.2! I'd sing #2 as "Hey there, Margie Girl", and all else fit! ( I had never seen a picture until about a month ago, and you do look remarkably like her!) We are a bit older than you, but so much time was spent by the two of us listening to You and the Seekers at Devil's Den State Park near Ft. Smith Arkansas from 1966 on, that I just had to write to thank you for the many blessings you have passed our way! You will always be my favorite Lady Singer, of all time! We are simple folk here in the Dallas, Grand Prairie Area, but I hope to get seme of your great recordings soon! Your suggestions greatly appreciated!
dammit to hell! I have tears in my eyes mate! My beloved wife of 48 years suffers from Parkinsons disease and is nearing the end! I simply cannot bear the the thought of being without her! I wish that I had your courage and fortitude!
Norman Ross awww I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, I wish only happiness for your future and as someone who is recovering a massive heart attack I can appreciate your words, every one of them as I am married to a wonderful man and have been for thirty seven years. I feel I am the luckiest woman alive.
Norman Ross I can say the same thing. My Sue and I enjoyed hours of your songs and your voice. Ironic that at 46 she too had a cerebral haemorrhage but sadly she never even made it to the floor. That was Christmas Eve several years ago and my eyes fill with tears whenever I hear "I'll Never Find Another You." .... Know that your music means so much more than just "music" to so many of us. It brings back memories of the best years of our lives.
Ms. Durham; THANK YOU for 50 years of music and memories from a Yank who has loved you and the Seekers since I first saw you in 1963. PLEASE get well and be as happy as you've made us (Your Fans!) All my love,,Ralph
Just finished reading your book Judith, and it was wonderful. You truly are a souled being, which is very rare these days. Your voice is magic, and you are an angel in every sense!
I grow up in Melbourne and how much I grow up with your group's music. My favourite is of course you, Judith. I left Melbourne in 1978 and still turn on your music for all these years. I keep them all in USB nowadays. We all grow much older and just cherish the memories of our younger years. Sorry to hear your sickness and I am sure you will recover soon. God bless a lovely girl, now a lady.

I am so very pleased to see you in relatively good shape after your health scare. Your music meant a lot to myself and many of my friends from the time your wonderful voice came into our homes, cars and (of course) transistor radios in the 1960's and 1970's as new music in Canada and all the years since. The love that Keith and Athol for Judith is so evident. It brings tears to my eyes. I’m glad she’s gotten over this health hurdle and went on to make more years of beautiful music.
