13:33 when Graham Simpson tells the interviewer that Judith Durham had the greatest respect for him... what a wonderful gesture. It brought a tear to my eye as well as to his.
After being a fan of The Seekers for over 50 years, the passing of Judith has not only been a very sad event in my life and many others, but has also suddenly made me very aware of my own advancing age and mortality. Judith's long adventure through this life is now over and she's at last reunited with Ron in her eternal life, while I still have a few steps left to go on my own journey. Bon Voyage Judith and thanks for all the wonderful music and memories!!

I think that a lot too about the mortality & all since most music and film I'm into is 50 years old or more. But I kept a positive head and not going to quit living just yet. Their music is still with us and will outlive us as well for newer generations to enjoy.
My dad raised me to The Seekers. "I'll never find another you" is my song for him and I sob my heart out to, because it's absolutely true that I will never find another best friend, father and my whole entire world. I thank Judith and the band for gifting us such wonderful music that has lasted through generations and still loved as much today. This was a beautiful tribute to a wonderful lady, beautiful inside and out ❤️
I was a fan of hers here in the US for well over 50 years. The music of Judith and the Seekers was a true blessing and as I’m getting up in years I’m comforted by their music. God Bless.
I live in distant Poland and in the 60's it was difficult with music from Australia. Nonetheless, some of The Seekers' songs, which I picked up more at the time by the original sound of Keith Potger's guitar in those songs, reached rarely. The great love for The Seekers began when I heard their song The Carnival is Over. Unfortunately, The Seekers disappeared in Poland for 30 years. Only I could hear them again, but also see them in Net on TH-cam. Then I cried because I was parting with the young group and suddenly people over 30 years older. It was a shock for me, but I intensively started to make up for the lost years and collected almost all my favorite songs of this band. I also bought a two-disc CD album. Over the years, alongside The Beatles, Carpenters and Pickettywitch, The Seekers of Judith Durham has become my most favorite band. Today, in great despair, I say goodbye to this wonderful singer, Judith Durham, about whose death I also learned from TH-cam because the Polish media did not mention this fact, which for me is also very sad. Hello Her Memory ....
Here I am, 79 in September and always loved her. All my famous and loved peers who were at the forefront of the exciting times of pop/rock/ country are leaving us and I feel my own mortality slipping by with every ailment I endure .Life is so precious and Judith was a wonderful singer and it seems those that knew her loved her. I am very tearful. My childhood sweetheart has just passed. She too 79. .
The beauty of Judith Durham's voice was revealed to so few of us in America. I feel fortunate to be a part of those few Americans who have experienced the wonder of her voice, one of the greatest of the 20th Century. RIP Judith, The Carnival Is Over, and what a ride. I will continue to listen to your music and love you till I die.

This is so sad. But her life, as difficult as it was at times, was a blessing. We were all lucky to have decades with her in our lives. She was one of a kind. I will never forget her. Australia gave the world a magnificent gift.
Loved her singing first, but as I learned more about her in the late 60’s until today I respected her even more and I had tears hearing of her death. RIP Judith
She most certainly was a national treasure. Anyone who grew up listening to the Seekers, remembers her distinct and unique voice, instantly recognisable. RIP Judith, the heavens have just received another Angel.
My Mom bought one of the Seeker's albums in the 1960s. The album features a picture of the Seeker's on the front of it with Judith sitting across a bench and fellow Seekers members surrounding her. Judith reminds me of my Mom and vice versa. Both Mom and Judith are 5'2'' and both were relly into music and religion and were about the same age, and both were great people.. Lucky to still have the Seekers album and record today. Ironically, both Mom and Judith died in 2022. RIP to both Mom and Judith.

She poured everything out on stage every single performance right into her 70s, all while managing a lung condition since she was a child. A true one off. R.I.P Judith.
And multiple losses over the years including: her parents in the 1970s; almost all her money in the 1974 collapse of her Swiss bank; her husband in 1994. I was a young kid growing up in Britain in the 60's & 70's and I thought Judith was the most beautiful woman in the world. With her perfect voice, smiling face, and 1960's haircut I thought she was wonderful. As a child of the 60s I grew up listening to the Seekers, and loved all their songs. Judith is and probably always will be, the greatest female voice to ever come out of Australia. Her vocal range was like no other, and her voice was so pure, that you could hear every word so easily. You never had to guess the lyrics with Judith's singing. A true God given talent, that not many in the music industry actually have, especially over the last 2 decades. Vale Judith. Thank you for sharing your amazing voice with the world. Condolences to her family and the Seekers.

As a Black child of the 60's in America, I listened to Ms. Judith's signing. I loved her angelic, clear voice and spiritual singing. Her beautiful voice (and The New Seekers) reached so many people around the world. She is truly missed.
Judith thank you for being a part of my life for 63 years, before The Seekers. I will miss you so much but your music will carry me on. You are now at peace but we are all devastated at losing you but knew the day was coming. You've been a fighter all your life overcoming obstacles that many of us would not have been able to overcome. I love you Judith, a big hole has been left in my heart.
It's a little late to tell thank you, and i don't think she will have a lap top where she is going, let alone wanting to come on here to read posts. Do you honestly think they have internet connection in heaven ? Come on.. !
I agree with everything you said. What a remarkable human being she was, even aside from her incredible voice. RIP dear sweet angel, I love you forever 🕊🕊🕊❤️❤️❤️
For me Judith was the greatest musical talent that ever came out of Australia , the Seekers were just a part of her music career, the jazz music she did with her husband was outstanding, I grew up listening to her and had a teenage crush on her, she continued sharing her great love of music till the end. RIP
So sad to hear of the death of the lovely Judith Durham. From my early teens I was in awe of her beautiful voice and her ability to entertain so naturally. If I had been given the chance to meet a very special lady, it would have been Judith. My thanks to her family and friends for the joy she brought to my life. May eternal happiness be hers. 🙏💐
My mother introduced me to the Seekers music when I was a little girl and I had the good fortune to see the Seekers in their reunion concert what a lovely lady! RIP Judith 💚
God, she was a beautiful and lovely woman. It's funny, out of the blue I listed to Georgy Girl nine months ago and then I read the accolades. May God rest her soul. She was a kind spirit.
As is an epitaph for another famous Carpenter (Karen), "A star on earth, a star in heaven", surely could be said as well for the lovely, classy, and gorgeous Judith Durham.
For the many years l've been around, Judith's passing has had the most emotional effect on me....saw the sad news around 4:30 CDT USA, and have since been in shock and basicly at a loss for words! Rest in peace, dear one, there will never be another like you.
Judith is now with the Angels in Heaven teaching them to sing properly. R.I.P Judith. You brought Colours to my Life. Thank you Geoff Sandford, Wigan UK
"Don't be sad that it's over; be glad that it happened." In Judith's case, it's more like, heartbroken that it's over; filled with infinite joy that it happened. I don't think I can imagine a world where we would have been without Judith & The Seekers. Or if I can, I really don't want to. We finish at least 60 years richer for her presence. Thanks, rich963, for posting these tributes! And some day we'll all see her on The Far Shore... Fred
It’s a sad ending. She was extremely ill from her lung condition. I would have loved to see her at the hospital to give my deepest appreciation and blessing. She was a real wonderful and beautiful woman. I’ve been touched. RIP lovely Judith. ❤ I won’t forget.
So many special memories. I grew up in a house where my mother loved the Seekers & scraped the money together to buy a few 45s & play them on the old stereogram. On the other side of the world in London, my best friends father was doing the same. When they announced the first reunion tour, I got good seats & took my Mum. The joy on her face is something I will never forget. She died a few months later. That best friend from London, ended up in Australia, & we too went to the ever expanding reunion tour, also in Sydney. We have now been married over 25 years. Judiths death is like losing a loved one, but the music & that special memory of my Mum, will last forever.
Marylin Horne says you can tell a great singing voice if it "goes to the ear." Judith's voice grabs your attention and holds it with that pure tone whatever the song. Goodbye, Judith Durham, with much love to a beautiful person and a remarkable artist.
Judith and The Seekers saved my sanity with Shores of Avalon when I was having real mental problems dealing with my wife of nearly sixty years who is suffering from vascular dementia. Thanks for a great life and beautiful songs.
God this hurts so very much! Judith was just so special, a one in a trillion voice, a one is a trillion person. A voice of an Angel, i must say in her younger years a positively evil figure, a stunningly beautiful face, and a pure heart. How is it possible for a woman i never met to have such an influence on my life? Her humility, courage, kindness, joy in all things makes me strive to be a better person. Millions adored her, and rightly so, as for me, Judith i have only love in my heart for you, i can only hope that you are with your beloved Ron, teaching Angels how to sing. Thank you Rich, even through your own grief you seek to help the rest of us with your posts.
My condolences to the family and to the fellow Seekers. Her lovely voice was truly angelic. She might be gone but her legacies remained with us. May her soul rest in peace.
Rest in peace Judith Durham. The voice of the Sixties, many generations, and proud Australian lady. Grew up listening to the Seekers in my youth. The first song in my younger days, l used to sing was Morningtown Ride. Always sang to my siblings to get them to sleep. The voice of an angel, once heard never forgotten. And never will be. Deepest condolences to the family, the Seekers & all Australians on this sad day. To politely mis quote a famous song. There never will be, another you. God bless and keep you Judith. Thank you for the songs and the memories. Respect. 🇦🇺🇬🇧
Morningtown Ride was always one of my Seekers favorites, too. Judith & the boys just made it perfect. And when I hear that song, I always give a little mental credit to its author, Malvina Reynolds. Fred
Can't believe this news only finding this out now,it's a disgrace that the British or Irish press did not carry news of her death, she was a lovable georgeous lady who made my life so better with her wonderful voice,a voice that's transcends, generations,a lady who was so gentle, and as I lost my own wife recently,I feel now a double loss and as I sit here with tears in my eyes I just want to express my gratitude to Judy and the Seekers for the wonderful years you gave us.Australia has lost a treasure and should never forget her and her outstanding ,beautiful voice.
I still remember hearing "Georgie Girl" for the first time and thinking I can't wait for the next song. I just knew her voice was so special, rich and pure. I was just listening to "You Tube" being nostalgic and found out about her passing. She will be missed and fondly remembered
WOW ! THIS is certainly a shock ,..too young to leave us,.. Rip ,..I really loved your genius music sweetie !! Very Sad ,, Australia music always rules from down under !! JUDITH ' THERE'S a new world somewhere,..see you on the other side
Thank you, Judith Durham for doing your part to help tame mankind with your gift and talent. The Seekers music was part background soundtrack to my once young life. In the meantime, I'll keep the music playing.
I love her!!! And I have loved The Seekers since the first time I heard them in the 60's and will continue to listen to their songs. I'll never find another you being my favorite. Thank you for all you have been to me
Get ready for more than a few tears. For Keith, Athol and Bruce it will just as hard as for her sister and blood family. It will even be tough for us watching at home on TV. Thanks for all the joy.
When my beloved wife passed away from ALS in May 2021, the one song that explained of the love I had for her was "I'll Never Find Another You" . Every word in it reminds me of how much I miss her. Judith's voice carried those words right into my heart. At her celebration of life, the lyrics "I'll Never Find Another You" were printed on the program. Thank you Judith and the Seekers for bringing such a beautiful song of enduring love into my life.
I cried when I heard this. What a strong part of my much younger years and memories of listening to her and the band on our little AM transistor radio's at the beach. She will always live on in so many hearts.
I am a huge fan of Judith and the guys. Her music always resonated with me, especially Georgy Girl. Everytime I hear her beautiful voice now, since we heard the sad news, I have a good cry. She was an amazing singer and a beautiful soul.
I played I'll never find another you to my beautiful wife. To let her know How precious she was. My wife is in Heaven now and will be in presence Jesus along with Judith.
Hey Rich -- the wings of this singular Australian songbird have been stilled ... which is why it is all the more important that the work that you and others continue so that her memory will be forever in our hearts. RIP, Judith Durham.
I just turned 70 last Tuesday and have been a Seekers fan since the beginning; I just love their music Judith had a magnificent voice and seemed like a lovely lady . My condolences to her family and band mates, She is now reunited with her husband Ron for all eternity and sings for the angels. RIP Judith. You will be greatly missed
What a great loss to all of us who have appreciated Judith and the Seekers for 50 years. There won’t be another voice like hers, and certainly not anyone with her spirit. From a yank who has loved these folks.
Such sad news. She was a beautiful singer. I was privileged to see them on their 50th Anniversary Tour a few years ago. Thanks for the great tribute, Rich. R.I.P., dear Judith.
What a blessing it was for you to see them on their 50th Anniversary Tour! Im in the US and though i knew their first few songs, they did not tour here like they did in the UK/Aus. But I did find them....better late than never. I found them when i needed them most. The Seekers helped me through the deepest hurt of my life. Brought me joy when I thought there would never be any again. They instantly became my #1 Group and Judith, my #1 Female Singer of the world. Her goodness and charaties made her even bigger than life. Her "giving" in her latter years put me in mind of Audrey Hepburn. The Carnival is Over but the Lights of the STAR are still shining. Shine on sweet Judith. You are so loved! Your fan from the US. RIP dear one.
I just stumbled across this, nine days after she passed away. I'm very saddened by this news. I didn't know her but have always loved the music of The Seekers. I watched them on PBS whenever they were on and they were still as much a joy to listen to as it was many years ago. Her voice was just as clear and sweet as the first time I heard her sing Gorgey Girl. R.I.P. Judith Durham.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the FAMILY of Judith Durham my condolences she was an inspiration to us all and can i say Loved by us all. i grew up listening to all the Seekers Music which was fantastic. i loved her so much god bless you Judith. RIP.
With the passing of Judith, part of our youthful memories die too. Now that the carnival is over, we know that we'll never find another Judith. Thank you for the good times you gave us, Judith Girl.
The Queen of Australia is gone. From the tributes, it seems she was every bit as gracious and giving in her private life as she was in public. Two queens died in the summer of '22. One had the voice of an angel and her legacy will live on for decades.
I so enjoyed her music. I sang Hey There Georgie Girl a capella in a Jr. High Variety Show in the late 60's. One of my lifeling favorite songs. God wrap her family in His wings.
What a beautiful soul she was. She had the voice of an angel and it was obvious she sang her heart out in every performance. Unlike many female singers of today, she was mesmerizing and kept the audiences' attention without singing in her underwear and sans vulgarity. The rest of the Seekers were excellent as well. RIP sweet lady.
Judith was a rare gift that kept on giving-to her family, her friends, her fellow Seekers and the fans. She stood for quality, integrity and joy-and infused those values in her music. In the sea of humanity, across time and space, she was utterly unique.
Well said, Artemus! As the saying goes, "After Judith was created God broke the mold." I thank Him for giving her to us for the tine He did. Vikki from the US. May, 2023, 72 years old.
What a blessing to be a teen when you all hit the scene. We loved you Judith and were loved by you. As a team you taught us to love hope and dream. All those years of song were special because you made it so. Huge loss, sadly missed, grateful for the memories. Auckland, New Zealand
Ich bin sehr traurig dass die einmalige Stimme der Seekers für immer verstummt ist. Was mir bleibt sind die LP, CD und DVD. Danke für die schönsten Songs. Und alles Gute in einer anderen Welt.
An angel has left the stage. Even in Norway close to the north pole Judith and the seekers made a great mark on us.some years ago i sendt her a message on youtube telling her what this music ment to me when i was a young kid. She replied saying thank you this why i still keep on singing at my age. OMG IAM SO SORRY AND SAD. glad i got her woyce on my cd and lps. Sorry for my rather bad english. All the best from Norway.

Me on the other hand, I wouldn't even think of going on a vid of a tribute to ONJ to state I think that Judith was a way better singer and why I thought so. It's called having some decorum.
@@stephaniestavropoulos1639 how dare you compare at a time like this If you want to rage at a time like this. Go and find some peace
Nobody is in competition at a time like this
Wake up to yourself
her voice alone inspired so many of us to try to sing (tho never remotely as well as her, unless you also happen to be an extreme prodigy....)
She had the most beautiful voice, really beautiful.
Every single word, every syllable, as clear as a bell. Beautiful singer.
As a Black child of the 60's in America, I listened to Ms. Judith's signing. I loved her angelic, clear voice and spiritual singing. Her beautiful voice (and The New Seekers) reached so many people around the world. She is truly missed.
Forgive me...correction...The Seekers not The New Seekers
Yes I agree there is something ethereal about her voice
Judith thank you for being a part of my life for 63 years, before The Seekers. I will miss you so much but your music will carry me on. You are now at peace but we are all devastated at losing you but knew the day was coming. You've been a fighter all your life overcoming obstacles that many of us would not have been able to overcome. I love you Judith, a big hole has been left in my heart.
Beautifully put.
It's a little late to tell thank you, and i don't think she will have a lap top where she is going, let alone wanting to come on here to read posts. Do you honestly think they have internet connection in heaven ? Come on.. !
💔❤️
I agree with everything you said. What a remarkable human being she was, even aside from her incredible voice. RIP dear sweet angel, I love you forever 🕊🕊🕊❤️❤️❤️
❤️🩹 Beautiful. Beautiful. 💝
Judith wasn't just an Australian treasure, Judith was a gift to the world. Judith lives forever in our hearts and her music.
For me Judith was the greatest musical talent that ever came out of Australia , the Seekers were just a part of her music career, the jazz music she did with her husband was outstanding, I grew up listening to her and had a teenage crush on her, she continued sharing her great love of music till the end. RIP
Judith's Pure Voice was So Distinctive, &. the Voice of Several 🇦🇺Australian Generations.😌
A Truly Remarkable &. Lovely🌷Lady.😌
Michiganders too!!!
She will never be forgotten, we all love you girlie ❤ 🇬🇧rest in peace along with with all the other icons with have lost, rest in peace 😪💋
This news is heartbreaking, we are all so much the better for all the joy her music brought us.
Very well said! 🌸
As is an epitaph for another famous Carpenter (Karen), "A star on earth, a star in heaven", surely could be said as well for the lovely, classy, and gorgeous Judith Durham.
One of the greatest voices to ever grace us. No one will ever replace this voice.
For the many years l've been around, Judith's passing has had the most emotional effect on me....saw the sad news around 4:30 CDT USA, and have since been in shock and basicly at a loss for words! Rest in peace, dear one, there will never be another like you.
Her death hit me about like the passing of Elvis. The Carnival is Over is a song that almost always makes me tear up.
Not just an Australian icon..A world icon.. Lovely little gal with the big beautiful voice 💕
The world will never find another you, Judith!!!
A sorrowful day to lose such a great singer and a great lady. Her voice her songs and the Seekers will live on.
Judith is now with the Angels in Heaven teaching them to sing properly. R.I.P Judith. You brought Colours to my Life. Thank you

"Don't be sad that it's over; be glad that it happened."
In Judith's case, it's more like, heartbroken that it's over; filled with infinite joy that it happened.
I don't think I can imagine a world where we would have been without Judith & The Seekers. Or if I can, I really don't want to. We finish at least 60 years richer for her presence.
Thanks, rich963, for posting these tributes! And some day we'll all see her on The Far Shore...
Fred
I'm crying while watching this. How could I miss the Seekers and Judith. Sad sad sad
We will miss you, Judith.
All our love 💘 ❤ 💕 ♥ from the USA 🇺🇸.

Will always remember her and the incomparable Seekers. Rest in Peace Judith.
Thank you for sharing your moving story. 🌸
A life well lived, a legacy never to be challenged. God rest you, Judith.
Beautiful.
Loving her and her music from Cold Lake too!
Marylin Horne says you can tell a great singing voice if it "goes to the ear." Judith's voice grabs your attention and holds it with that pure tone whatever the song. Goodbye, Judith Durham, with much love to a beautiful person and a remarkable artist.
Thanks Rich for keeping Judith in our lives. She will be missed terribly by the world. May she rest in peace with her husband Ron.
Ron Edgeworth.
@@smwca123 Thank you for the correction on my mistake.
"evil figure"?
@@donabel1273 that figure could've tempted Jesus! Judith was WOW!

This woman was the product of one of God's finest efforts. Her angelic voice was one of a kind. Indeed Judith, there will never be another you.
RIP Judith. Voice of an Angel. I know the Pearly Gates will be open for you.
This is really sad. Great singer and bright personality. Loved her singing “Just a Closer Walk With Thee”.
I love her!!! And I have loved The Seekers since the first time I heard them in the 60's and will continue to listen to their songs. I'll never find another you being my favorite. Thank you for all you have been to me
By far one of the most beautiful female singers of all time. Her songs will be around forever. I'm sure in Heaven she will be loved.
Get ready for more than a few tears. For Keith, Athol and Bruce it will just as hard as for her sister and blood family. It will even be tough for us watching at home on TV. Thanks for all the joy.
Now dear Judith is walking real close with her Lord and Saviour. Singing in heaven. Loved her.
"I'LL NEVER FIND ANOTHER YOU".
MY FAVORITE SONG.
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.
GOD BLESS, GOD SPEED. 😢

I cried when I heard this. What a strong part of my much younger years and memories of listening to her and the band on our little AM transistor radio's at the beach. She will always live on in so many hearts.
I did as well. I'm still crying now...
Yes, someone is cutting onions again..
Rest in peace my friend
I am a huge fan of Judith and the guys. Her music always resonated with me, especially Georgy Girl. Everytime I hear her beautiful voice now, since we heard the sad news, I have a good cry. She was an amazing singer and a beautiful soul.
Thank you for sharing this amazing tribute to Judith. My condolences to family & her band members. RIP Judith this carnival isn’t over yet.
We will always love and appreciate the beauty brought into our lives by your angelic voice. See you on the other side of life, God has blessed you.
Rest In Peace Judith Your voice was gift that will never be heard again.
I was very lucky to have met her and a few voice lessons with her.I will miss her.God rest.
Thank you for your beautiful presence in the world.
May, 2023, 72 years old.
we have to thank God for giving us a wonderful woman like Judith, she gave us her all and along with her great personality we are the ones blessed
She definitely was a gift from God. Completely agree!
What a blessing to be a teen when you all hit the scene. We loved you Judith and were loved by you.
As a team you taught us to love hope and dream.
All those years of song were special because you made it so.
Huge loss, sadly missed, grateful for the memories.

The closing of this video shows the amazing feat of her voice never failing her. What an amazing singer and human being.
Ich bin sehr traurig dass die einmalige Stimme der Seekers für immer verstummt ist. Was mir bleibt sind die LP, CD und DVD. Danke für die schönsten Songs.
Und alles Gute in einer anderen Welt.
Athol, Bruce and Keith: I feel your heartache from the other side of the world- and I share it. 💔 😪
God bless you Judith! I am 62 and have loved your angelic voice since I was a teen! Sing with the Angels now...
Thanks for the fine video. So sad, Rest in peace dear Judy. We will never find another you.
I loved the Seekers' songs with their great harmonies and of course, Judith's beautiful voice
I love Judith's voice and send my condolences to her family and friends.

I'm very shocked to hear about the passing of Judith! A great singer and a great voice. Gone but not forgotten.. R.I.P Judith xxx
I have loved this woman since I was a boy. A beautiful lady with a beautiful spirit who will live on in my heart through her music.
What a beautiful tribute for such a wonderful person. Rest in peace Judith I feel so privileged to have heard your voice live, soaring into the rafters of Birmingham Symphony Hall on your last tour.
RIP Dear Judith Durham transitioned to eternal life never seeking again and surrounded in eternal bliss!! Tears coupled with dumbfounded feelings resonate with our childhood joys of singing your beautiful evergreen hits straight from your heart which will forever be cherished!!
Beautiful voice will be singing with the Angels RIP
