    I bought a brand new horn driver (Range: 1kHz - 17kHz) for about 18 USD and I just replaced my fairly cheap guitar amp's driver with it and the whole system sounds amazing

    That came out sounding really clean! Very nice work dude. Also the audio quality on your videos are top notch.

    Hey Khan great videos... I wanted to ask if you could showcase your Studio a bit... and show us your stuff.... Plus an Dub reggae tutorial would be great.. shouts from Switzerland

      BoristheBallistic thanks for the comment! Sure I could do a studio tour and show off my stuff. I did do a little bit of a dub tutorial, but perhaps an in depth tutorial on the concepts of dub music would be cool for those looking to learn what it’s about. Check out the other vids! Cheers

    Hey man, I loved the video and am considering building one myself. My fender hot rod deluxe has a preamp out, could I connect that to the talkbox?

    • @DMKahn
      @DMKahn  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would actually need to take the feed that goes right from the amp where it would normally go to the speaker cabinet. The talkbox is actually a speaker. You just need to make sure you match the impedance. Hope that makes sense

    Hi, I have a compression horn driver that is 16 ohms. Would the type of capacitor you have work with 16 ohms or would I need to use a different kind of capacitor?

      I’m really unsure, so sorry man

    i just built this a few days ago using your parts list. only things that are different are the capacitor, i used one that i had on hand and it is a different value. and the hose barb is plastic and not brass like yours. it sounds great but i find that its not that loud? i used my fender deluxe reverb amp on 10 , its a 20watt amp . also, are you supposed to cut the tubing down? if its longer, will that make it quieter? i can just turn my mic preamp up, but then whenever i breath its reaally really loud. also, thanks for all your videos, im loving them and finding them very useful. keep them coming please

      It’s hard to judge “loud”. Mine gets loud enough to rattle my teeth. So I’d say it’s pretty loud lol.

      @@DMKahn mine is definitely not that loud. ill try ordering the same value capacitor you did. maybe that makes a difference. also, how long is your tube?

    • @DMKahn
      @DMKahn  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Matthew Moran it’s frickin long, like 10 feet

    So the sound of guitar come up from tubing proccesing by mouth n received by microphone n the end output to amplifier. Right sir? Tx u

    the talkbox will be passive? my amplifier has 2 100w speakers, will it work on the line output?

    • @DMKahn
      @DMKahn  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The talkbox itself is basically a speaker. The one I made here is good up to about 30watts. I think your amp would blow the talkbox speaker. I’m not sure there are talkbox type drivers that can handle that much wattage. Maybe if you used a loading device to drop the output wattage it would work. Cheers

    Exqueese me? Have I seen this one before? "Frampton Comes Alive"? Everybody in the world has Frampton Comes Alive. If you lived in the suburbs you were issued it. It came in the mail with samples of "Tide".
