    Detailed description:
Sam Parr has been preparing for parenthood and focusing on the finances of raising a child since he was 20. In his 20s, Sam heard the phrase ‘time billionaire’ and set a goal to earn $20M by the time he was 30, aiming to enjoy life and family time while still young. Sam achieved this goal at 31 and is now enjoying fatherhood with his baby girl.
As a parent, Sam is determined not to spoil his children. He wants to raise kids who are empowered, and plans to teach this through setting a good example, doing the things he says he will do, and values-based spending
Sam prepared for fatherhood uniquely. He read numerous books about hardship, integrity, masculinity, and respect. He says the biography of Lewis & Clark, surprisingly, was the most influential book in preparing him for parenthood.
One of the biggest surprises for Sam about fatherhood was how masculine it made him feel. Parenthood has transformed Sam in many ways: he now feels a profound purpose to provide and protect, something he didn't experience to the same extent with his businesses.

These comments are why not everyone is rich. This is someone who made it…literally set a goal for himself and achieved it. He is giving pointers, maybe you all should take one or two.

Not really, dude talked about how he set a nearly an unrealistic goal for himself achieved it reads tons of books, talked about how to actually budget. Sure makes a ton more money than you and I do lol. Yes maybe he’s a little ignorant in some aspects but you don’t need to follow EVERYTHING he said get a grip😂

@@jamezdean113 “idiot gritter?”😂😂😂 curious what you do for work and how successful in life you are. As for me I have a notebook filled with my business idea and it was quite motivating for me, sorry it wasn’t for you. It encouraged me to listen to other successful people as he did to get to where he’s at- I plan to listen to the podcast he mentioned. It gave me a reality check of to stop spending money on pointless things on Amazon. Hmm let’s see enjoyed his take on being a “time billionaire” Also as a new parent could relate to him a ton😊 Normally when I don’t like something or feel like it’s not adding something to my life I turn it off not leave comments on the video sounds like you enjoy living a miserable life!!

How about you have a mom and/or dad who isn’t a millionaire on? This was so unrelatable it was disgusting. I’m a mom of 3. Please… if you are expecting a child do not listen to this. You can be living paycheck to paycheck and parenting can be amazing. It doesn’t suck if you don’t have money.

I love hearing new parents saw they won’t let their kids have iPads at a restaurant. Or they judge people that do. Just wait until your kid is 4 and all you want to do is go have dinner and drinks as a family to chat with your spouse.
It’s comparable to someone growing up in a city like NYC and saying that they’ll never own a car, then they move to Iowa.
By the way, I absolutely love this pod and Mean Girl Pod. Keep up the great work!

What a cop out how you're willing to neglect your 4 year old because "all you want" is dinner and drinks. If you're willing to lie to yourself like this, I can't imagine how you treat others.

How the hell do you not capitalize on the viral clip that went out this week? Harrison was on barstool and everything. You guys…you needed to delay this pod and do a focused pod on your reaction to that. Strike with the moment…what a miss to grow this audience. By next week, no one will care anymore.

This was a good one, Alex!! Love the different perspectives. Only thing I didn’t agree with was the expensive stroller bit but to each their own and I’m not going to drag Sam over the coals for it when his budget can afford it 😂 parenting is, to me, a learn as you go process and you can prepare all you want but until you’re in the situation you don’t know how to react. I learn as a parent every single day. You and Harrison will be great. I have no doubt about that! ❤
