Thank you for posting. I didn't manage to get to the SVR in the end this weekend, so good to see that it looked pretty busy & hopefully good revenue for the railway 😊
@AnthonyFurnival I'm hoping for GCR at the end of this month then Battlefield in February. I have a trip to London next week and Glasgow the week after for work all by train and hope to get out on an evening while there.
43106 is an Ivatt 4 steamy rightly nicknamed Flying Pig. Looks like you had a good time, and the SVR was on your bucket list somewhere along the line. I've yet to visit the railway, as it is my favourite preserved railway of all.
@@yorkshirewanderer6176 No problem, i'm thinking of going back to the SVR for their 1940's event. But i may think of try to go there for other steam galas, like Spring with 72 Fenchurch the Terrier Tank Engine on April. 👍🏻
Another fabulous video, while on a video based on the past. Thank you so much for the labour involved with the video! Cheers mates! 🇬🇧👍🙂🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it!

Fantastic footage! Didn’t manage to spot myself but it was a great event!
I was looking at yours last night and was thinking the same thing.
@@yorkshirewanderer6176 were you there just the one day or both?
@AnthonyFurnival Just the Saturday unfortunately as I'm away quite a lot for work this month so couldn't get a longer pass out.
@@yorkshirewanderer6176 ah that’s a shame, at least you made the most of it - when’s your next gala? Probably the spa valley for me next month!

I was here on the same day and I came here to see the stanier mogul on it’s welcome return and the last appearance for taw valley and the flying pig

Liked your video and subscribed your channel, i was there for one day and it was good 👍🏻🚂
Thanks for that. I only managed the one day as well, but plenty planned for later this year.
