yeah, I hate it. It so weird at times. The first time I open career mode, the entire cessna would just shut off (like up to 5 times per flight). Also, it gives me stupid violations for "Overflying Airport" when im over somewhere where there is obviously not a airport.
And also Cessna 172 always start with pulling fuel from left wing, which causes airborne engine stopped several time that I was flying, which I had to troubleshoot and switched the fuel selection manually to right wing😢, quite a ride
I suppose there’s a reason people pay +$100k to go to flight school to then have to build hundreds of hours and get tens of thousands of dollars of additional training before anyone will let them fly a real Caravan.
Yes. RW pilot and instructor here. Career mode is for kids really. Nothing but a bad habit inducer. Learn to fly properly from online ground schools or online rw instructors etc. Not affiliated. Vatsim has lots of free rw skills training. I really have to control myself from trashing career mode. I bite my lip at the direction msobo took. It is for 12 y/o gamers on xbox really. Minor improvements to model, simplistic replay, improved lighting, awful AI Autogen, but basically, They threw all the RW flight simmers under the bus.
The career mode flight paths have a lot of inconsistencies compared to 2020 when you set up a flight path with approaches in the menus. In 2024 the flight path on the compass in 3rd person and the aircraft instruments flight path don't match up at times. The taxi system is also broken, making you taxi 1.50 miles to take off when you're at the opposite end of the runway MATCHING UP WITH YOUR FLIGHT PATH.
Bro, you should press tab and see the A C T U A L flight plan and approach to that airport. Please tell me your brains thought of it afterwards. If not, sheesh, how you flying real planes?
Did you file an alternate airport that have instrument approaches? Continuing a flight in IMC to an airport with no IAP is a dangerous move. You gotta work on ADM to increase the realism of MSFS24!!! FYI I am a real world pilot if you have any questions. I operate a G280.

Goober.
Fuel efficiency is part of the challenge.
yeah... idk how these people are running out of fuel, do you guys not adjust your fuel mixture when you're in the air??
Turboprops no mixture

@@BrianUretsky Odd. FSX had ways to request a new altitude.

I can’t wait to get my black square caravan mod to work in 2024. Lol
it does GIVE YOU ENOUGH FUEL You do not how to add it.
ATC keeping you at ridiculous height until you're on top of the airport was pretty standard in FS2020, I guess they've carried that over.
the pain in his eyes at the end lol yeah this game is buggy but ima play it anyway
sadly careermode has a ton of bugs for now

in these weather conditions in special GFX looks worse than FSX
So stick with MSFS 2020 for now?

Some of it is Microsoft fault, most of it is your fault - you mostly have no idea what are you doing.
Don't lie. You clearly had instruments for that approach. Skyboxes is cheating.

The game does not give you the ability to set alternate airports. G280 is a nice jet, albeit a bit smaller than the 767 I fly.
