The fact that Ahsoka made Anakin come back for even a moment, something even Obi Wan couldn't do, really shows how much he cared about her
A Guy With A Lot Of Opinions Anakin/Vader carried far to much hate towards Obi Wan so for him to even try to turn him back would be impossible, not mentioning he thought It would be impossible after the Mustafar speech, Obi Wan kind of abandoned Anakin, not Ashoka thought

Put yourself in Anakin's shoes for a moment. Everyone you loved and everything you knew is gone, killed, and destroyed. You couldn't save your mother, you couldn't save your wife, and your best friends abandoned you when you needed them the most. You're so full of hate, fear, and regret. So much that you lose your sanity and literally become someone else. But when you see your former best friend come back and tells you that they will be there for you this time; it is just too late. Your hatred for their abandonment flows through you all over again and you decide that you can finally give them what you believe they deserve. Death.

Vader actually...the.jedi were actually evil in their ways, back then so anikan did proove a point, that his sanity has been broken ever since his mother died, aswell as never seeing his family again after so long, he lost everything in his life, but in the end, he finally got what he wanted, after palatine gave anikin his new form DARTH VADER, REVENGE on the jedi, but ahsoka, she was warned by vader, but ahsoka had no choice, it was hard for vader to kill ahsoka but then again he had no choice but did it anyway, they will never be forgotten back when they were partners
The Ahsoka we meet in the Mandolorian is suffering from PTSD, she sees how much Grogu cares for Din and is scared of repeating that mistake.

They just need to have good character development for their female characters. I remember how annoyed everyone was with Ahsoka during the first few seasons of the Clone Wars. But after her entire character arc, she grew to be one of the best Star Wars characters ever created.

The Ashoka/Anakin relationship was 100x more tragic than the love story between Padmé and Anakin.

Anikans story is so heart breaking.
I love that as Ahsoka finally realizes, she doesn't even immediately ignite her lightsabers as Vader advances towards her. She only ignites it when he begins to strike.
She knew the whole time🤦🏼♂️😂 she sensed anakin back in the s2 premiere, she knew it was him, she was just in denial and never wanted to accept it, she sees too much good in people, that was her weakness

In the end, Anakin did bring balance (until the Sequels screwed that up). The Jedi Council's vision was flawed. The rise in the dark side was putting the force out of balance, but they were as well. All except Qui-Gon.

Exactly, he didn’t turn for huge power or to become a Sith, he turned so he could just save his wife and that’s it. He didn’t want to become a Sith and become palpatines apprentice, he only went for the power to save Padme not for revenge, hatred or anger.

That alone is a power no Jedi has ever had before...On top of that, before the fight with Obi-Wan in Episode III, he says to Padmé that he can overthrow the chancellor and make things they want them to be, and after almost choking his wife to death he says to Obi-Wan: "I have brought peace, freedom, justice and security to MY new Empire" wich leads me to believe that he didn't just do it to save Padmé but also wanted to be the man in charge of the entire galaxy. He's not consumed by Darth Vader like Yoda says, but consumed by power...

The fact that Ashoka was able to bring Anakin back even for the slightest second shows the strength of her bond. Also the fact that he gave her the option to leave at the beginning.

Madeline Howe well after his mask broke he almost turned back and then ahsoka Fucked it up by saying I won’t leave you not this time. Because that just opened up old wounds and reminded anakin of the pain she cause him when she left.

Madeline Howe well I was more saying it because it was already set in stone that Luke turned him back. But I think if ahsoka said anything else besides I won’t leave you she might have been able to turn him. The fact this she reminded him of old wounds fueled Vader more.

What makes this hit even harder is after watching Obi Wan episode 6.
"Anakin is gone. I am what remains."
Shows that Anakin Skywalker was dead, currently trapped in his chains by Vader himself. He did manage to come in for a brief moment before Vader comes back in. Ahsoka cut off the right side of his mask, Obi Wan cut off the left side of his mask. Both are unable to save him and bring back the light of him but only his son Luke did as he removed both sides of his mask to free Anakin Skywalker from his prison.

I am slightly confliced on this because I also wanted to get an animated show with Ashley that is a Rebels sequel and I am guessing this is what we're getting instead. The creator was interviewed. There actually was no emotion other than hatred in Vader. He would not re emerge as anakin in until his son is first revealed to him
It wasn't guilt or sorrow Vader was just surprised as no one cared for him and for him to hear someone say he won't leave him was probably a huge shock for Vader

@@venom4091 Anakin was never truly dead. If you ever wanna look into Vader's story/comics, etc. Anakin is always alive plagued by Padme's death. Also, if Anakin was truly dead, he wouldn't have been able to save his son later and bring balance to the force as prophesied

This is one of the most powerful edits I’ve ever watched
The genius behind Vader is that pretty much everything he says has two meanings. What Vader means, then what Anakin means. When the two people in Vader's suit speak as one, the dialogue is crafted on such a way that the two things that Vader and Anakin mean, are the same thing. It blends the tradegy of a harmless, caring boy who wanted to free slaves, to him turning into a slave for the dark side whose very appearance makes people shiver with fear. It makes the way he talks to the people he knew as Anakin a lot less complex, as you think less about what Anakin is saying in Vader's words, and more about the emotions of the character he is talking too.

The most chilling part is that when Vader says "then you will die" its clear and unmodified, it's Anakin talking. This scene shows just how far gone he is.

For the briefest of moments Anakin Skywalker woke up . His eyes were still yellow but he hesitated when she told him she wouldn't leave him . In the end he fell to his anger but that small moment revealed that he was still alive just imprisoned by his darkness and the darkside of the force.
Sometimes I imagine an alternate universe where anikan never turns evil.

This fight hits me harder than Anakin vs obi wan ever did. Obi wan was his mentor, and like his big brother, but by the time RotS came around, Anakin didn't need obi wan, and obi was content to let Anakin forge his own path.
While, with Anakin and Ahsoka, Anakin still felt that sibling bond as strong as ever. She was his little sister, and he felt like she abandoned him. I think that Vader was remembering the moment when she turned her back on him during the fight at the temple, and her promise not to leave him again, and the true grief and sorrow in her eyes, got through to him for a split second.

The fact that Ahsoka was able to bring Anakin back, for a few seconds, showed how much he cared for her. But it was too late, he was already full of fear and hatred, the only one who could truly bring him back was his son, Luke

I think with Ahsoka leaving, that was really one of the main things that pushed Anakin closer to the darkside. Like, it really made his downfall happen ALOT faster.

The fact Ahsoka brought out Anakin again, not Vader, something neither Padmé nor Obi-Wan could do, just goes to show how much he truly cared for his apprentice.
Padme can do it, it's just when she died, Vader gains his full strength. So Padme didn't have a chance.
@@edryctan672 Ahsoka did it when he had conflict in him. I don’t remember when this was or of Vader knew he had a son yet. But Padmé was around at the worst time. Anakin at the time hated Obi-Wan so no way he would’ve been able to. But Padmé definitely could’ve. Ahsoka didn’t even turn Anakin back. Padmé I’m sure could’ve. Especially with their kids.

In the series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" T5, E20: The Wrong Jedi. This in my opinion, was one of the darkest and saddest episodes of this series. The fact that the Jedi Council abandoned Ahsoka Tano when she needed their support the most, they simply left her to her own devices, just because of what Admiral Tarkin said about "the Republic Senate wanting to try Ahsoka" for crimes she didn't committed. I almost cried at this point.

The only good thing about the Rise of Skywalker recent spoilers is that Ahsoka and Anakin are together again as ghosts.

Anakin really is one of the most tragic characters out of any saga in history. Everybody knew deep down he was a good person, not even Obi-wan could bring himself to finish Anakin on Mustafar, even after he destroyed everything he held dearly...
I think overall Anakin's fall from grace is meant to show that sometimes regulation of your emotions is needed in order to stop unnecessary pain overall.

I think that Anakin Skywaker is one of the most complex characters ever written, his story is just incredibly written, i hope that we get a character that can live up to him.

I’ve been saying this forever, his torment from being torn between the dark and light sides of the force was incredible. All the events in his life that caused him to feel so much pain and anger, opening him up to the dark side, while never fully moving on from those he lived created so much conflict for him. I wanna read the Vader comic book series because it apparently goes over his self loathing a lot and gives us a great look into his head and how much he hated himself for what he did
The fact that Ahsoka became so strong that she survived order 66 just shows how good of a teacher Anakin really was same with Starkiller no matter what role or faction he played Anakin was the ultimate reason why his apprentices were so powerful if not for his training his apprentices wouldn’t have been able to push themselves when they needed to in life or death situations
The best part was the flashback when Darth Vader said “Ahsoka”
