Hi, I'm Oberon. This is my very first time performing a piano concerto and making this kind of video. I hope you enjoy my performance and accompaniment. I'll keep making more videos in the future.
Raspberry Pi. I basically followed the tutorial on TH-cam channel "AP piano". You can find it by keywords "how to make a reactive LED piano visualizer"! :-)
I have never, ever! seen anyone play rach 2 for their first video...hell so far there's only you and kassia who plays this concerto. Looking forward for the next upload!
@@Oberon_orchestra just notice I'm your second sub!!! I will definetly follow your videos!!! Also you should do Totentanz, no one has done it also xD!! I just say so you break a little bit the cycle of the same renditions!
There are too many of these synthesia pianists now, but honestly, you've caught my attention, this is really good, really good. Maybe just make the synthesis bigger a little, just a little thicker i'd say. As for the playing part, it's really good, really good, you could be amongst Rousseau, Kassia and Traum
BRO HOW A CHANNEL WITH THIS QUALITY HAS ONLY 920 SUSCRIBERS??? You deserve a lof of more new people in your channel, you are a virtuosso, sill doing this videos man, i love it (I´m sorry for my English, I´m from Uruguay hahha)
What a first-class video! Like someone already said, you should do Rach 3, but also do Rach 1 - you’d be the first to do that too. I’m currently learning that one haha.
well done ! amazing work (2.06 and 4.18 are deadful and you did well) and i find that the last part (10:24) was better than kassia's version who didn't do the triolet at right hand ; (10:23, ouch ! that E natural :p)
Absolutely fantastic! Your playing is so even and controlled; what do you practice? Like, I've been teaching myself piano properly for 1 year now, and I was just wondering if playing with the control and technique you have is gained only by time or through exercises? Can't wait for more videos of yours, you will definitely blow up soon. Also, if you ever run out of stuff to play, which I'm sure you won't but still, you could try creating tutorials for technique, they're extremely popular. Good luck! :))
This is great. A few critiques/suggestions (not of the performance!) I really recommend getting a good piano VST (I recommend Pianoteq as it's lightweight and is by far the most responsive virtual paino) for your videos. There are parts of the performance where the sound of the piano is rather dry, as in the sound completely stops when you release the key. Maybe a very slight reverb effect could curb this issue, but I'd still recommend a good VST if you can afford it. They are quite pricy though, and I believe a subtle reverb effect could remedy most of the issues. As for visual presentation, your piano is basically perfectly aligned with the visual synthesizer, and the LED light is very nice. The only problem I notice is that your camera isn't a big fan of the dark lighting, creating a visible grain in the dark areas of the screen. Maybe just a bit more lighting in the top part of the video if possible? Overall, an absolutely amazing first video along with a great performance. If you keep this up, I believe you'll be one of the great visualizer pianists on TH-cam. A few technical kinks (not your skill, you're amazing) to be ironed out, but keep up the phenomenal work. Sorry for unloading this giant wall of text on you, but I really wanna see your channel be the best it can be.
Wow, you really pointed out the problems I care about. The grain in the hand video is really a big problem. The LED light becomes inconspicuous under stronger lighting, and a visible grain appears under weaker lighting. I think I'll upgrade the video recorder when I can afford it. Thank you so much for your suggestions and solutions. It is really helpful. I'll try making videos in higher quality. :))
Amazing! I would love to listen the third too with the Ossia cadenza and synestesia, can't find it anywhere :c And also reminiscences de Don Juan, but idk if that's ask for too much xD
Hey there, love your playing! Just wanted to ask which orchestra recording you are using and where to get it, because I kind of wanted to learn parts of the piece and kind of lost the motivation to learn this piece without any orchestra sounds xD
