It’s easy to understand for those of us that have been married to narcissists. My ex-wife is a narcissist and she only worries about herself. She’s incredibly selfish and doesn’t care who she hurts if it’s what SHE wants. This woman in the story is the same as my ex. She worries about herself and only herself. She thinks the world revolves around her. Narcissists are sick and dangerous people. My ex cheated on me and left me for her HS boyfriend and treated me like garbage during and after the divorce. She forced me to stay in the house so I could continue paying the bills or else she was going to challenge my custody with false accusations. When we were married I let her keep her entire teacher paycheck and I paid for everything so the thought of me moving out where she’d have to pay for some of her own expenses was simply unacceptable in her narcissistic mind. They’re awful people and if you meet one you’d be smart to run away as fast as possible. They’re crafty, sneaky, manipulative, deceptive, selfish liars who put their needs ahead of everyone including their children.
I don't care if the invitations are out, the food has been bought, and you've spent a fortune for clothes and the ring. If you feel like bolting, then call it off. Getting married should be a NATURAL progression of a relationship, not forced for any reason. If you're not ready, you're not ready, and she was not ready. Jordan comes across as extremely immature and not at all ready for marriage. All that pain and misery could've been avoided if she had simply let Cody go. Now, so many lives are ruined for nothing.

May he rest in peace and may she never have a moment of peace! The final story of the release from prison being an error and remanding him to custody was heartbreaking! Especially, since he was doing so good in life after being incarcerated. That reform is what we should want to see in individuals sent to prison. I've been like this in my life. I meant hysterical and reluctant when men ever touched me. I'm okay with women touching me as long as they are close people. I don't know what happened to me but I prefer to say if I'm comfortable with someone touching me. I prefer to refuse every man's advances no matter how persistent they are. Being truthful about yourself is the most important. Even though people talk behind me, calling me odd, I don't care. It's better that way for me.
Jordan seemed to be pathologically afraid of intimate relations and she had every right to that but why then would she get married? Just stay single. Also, I'm a bit perplexed by her indicating that she wanted children. Where did she think they came from? Maybe she intended to adopt children. The fact is that she should have walked away from Cody because she obviously hated the very idea of being married. I think she married him because she liked the idea of the cake and the flowers and the dress and being the center of attention for one day but she certainly didn't marry him because she wanted to actually be married. What a shame that this young man got tangled up with such a psycho. I hope she spends the rest of her life behind bars. All she had to do was refuse to marry him!
As someone who struggles with fear of intimacy I think I can probably understand the disparity somewhat- though in absolutely no way do I condone murdering someone because of it. I can understand both wanting the companionship and children that we think of as “normal life”, if such a thing exists, and not being able to face the closeness and act in the moment. You may be right about her choosing to go through with the wedding because of the attraction of attention and the beautiful ceremony, I can’t speak to that. For me, all that fuss is deeply uncomfortable.
There’s no understanding of pure evil that she is. Everything she says must be taken with grain of salt because the murderers always make up excuses and want lenient sentences so whatever she says is most likely not the whole truth and especially her motive(s) like ”fear of intimacy” seem like bs. It was specifically him who she didn’t feel like that much is obvious so that she still dragged on thru all the way to marriage tells me she was using him for everything with the promise of sex and she knew she could use every excuse to suck him dry before marriage but once it was time to ”give it up” she rather did happily murdered him
God, I hate to think if she ever had pets after the way she so easily disposed of Cody. What a cruel and callous piece of work she is. It's a good she'll never get her absurd wish and be a mother.
Do you think she didn´t allow him to have sex with her, previously to the wedding? Do you think she was virgin before wedding? Come on, Mary. In what world do you live?
Each time I hear this story of the bride shoving the husband off of the cliff, I come to the same conclusion: I believe she was "in the closet" . My niece...hard core tomboy, married a guy...everything was fine until he wanted sex...they would fight...long story short: she was gay...she confessed...they divorced...he remarried, she dates girls...everybody lived!
She's a psychopath who got pleasure out of the whole game. Probably would've done it to other men if not caught and incarcerated. There are women who have done this to three or four men before getting caught. They just continue until stopped. They seem to get pleasure out of the deceit and control it gives them.

This makes me think of my mom--she apparently locked herself in the bathroom on their wedding night because she was so terrified of sex. My parents are ultra-religious whackjobs who both believe sex is wrong and dirty. My brother and i are both adopted, and to this day i don't believe they've ever completely touched one another. Married 50 years but have never so much as shared a straw. My point is, I'm wondering if Jordan had the same white-hot panic/psychotic reaction to sex, due to hardcore religious overzealousness? Being raised Mormon, i saw a few girls (particularly at mormon college) who were on their way to this same outcome.
I truly hope youve managed to *GET OUT* from under these people and youre in a much better place presently. They both sound _psychotic_ and I shudder at the thought of people like them being able to *adopt* innocent children! At this point, I wonder: Were they ever _affectionate_ towards you and your brother? Because I simply cant imagine such people being capable of expressing _human emotion._ Wishing you and your brother all the best across the miles. I hope youre both _happy._ ✌
Wow--thanks for asking, actually. Honestly, my brother and i don't speak, he's still a devout (priesthood-holding) member of the religion, and he has aged into the same POS sociopath my dad's example would've produced. They were never exactly affectionate to my brother, but they HAD actually voluntarily adopted him as a 1 year old, whereas I was foisted upon them at 4 years and they just kinda 'kept' me thru a mixture of apathetic resignation (they were permanently stuck with me) and religious obligation to ensure i wouldn't get ideas above my station as the underprivileged and undeserving, dirty, disobedient, lazy, and mentally r*tarded child i was, who just needed to be grateful for electricity and food. (They adopted me when i was 12, after a psychologist suggested i would behave 'less weird' socially if they included me in their family.) I don't know what made my parents the way they are (i suspect one was sexually abused and that the other was abused by parents verbally/physically), but they're still pretty positive they're heroes for rescuing--and attempting to 'save'--me. They believe their methodologies were perfectly reasonable, though they lie their faces off about what they actually did, so i'm pretty sure they understand at least enough to be ashamed, whether or not they are. They adopted kids because that was 'the next phase in life for young marrieds' and since they wouldn't/couldn't procreate, they bought their children. They approached parenting as a commercial undertaking, then as a neglectfully-militant religious undertaking. I've lived a great life since i left them. I've had lingering health issues as a result of my early years, but i cobbled together a real family of people i met living all over the world teaching music. My life is more full than they could even comprehend, and i don't compromise my happiness by stepping back into their misery, y'know? @@LeenaStark

Crazy, isn't it?! And she'll probably get released in 15yrs. Our justice system is soon broken.
The XX chromosome factor.
You have to keep in mind she wasn’t convicted of “premeditated” murder. If she were, the sentence would have been longer. She took a plea deal for second degree murder.
So, yes. This is premeditated murder, but premeditated murder is not what she was convicted of.
Plus he is repeat offender.... the more crime you get caught doing the longer the sentence. 3 strucks law. Auto life.

She got 30 years with no parole. She should’ve gotten life
There’s no understanding of pure evil that she is.
Omg. Why did she marry this man?! 😳😳😳😭😭😭😭 So bizarre. Frightening! That poor family! 😣😣😣
She is a sociopath
@@bee12355 a horror!!
What an inspirational man. GOD bless him and his family.
Jordon should be facing death penalty. 30 years isn't really justice.
She could have just separated and divorced him. But murder?
Or not marry him in the first damn place, since she seemed to pretty much hate him even when they were dating.
@aquariusf6412are you serious?? He didn’t do anything
evil lady why did she marry him if she didn’t love him
some guys are so optimistic that they can only see what they want to see.
he probably loved her right up to the point where she pushed him over.
As a mother of an only child, I feel her pain!
Too bad Jordan only got 30 years in prison..she definitely deserves way more time
I’m so sorry for your family’s loss and pain! Keep Cody’s life alive in your heart. Sounds like he was a blessing to all! Evil demon 😈!
Hmmmm maybe that’s what she was crying about at 15:50
Absolutely nothing to corroborate your theory. She just didn't like him and only liked the attention she got from being engaged.
That's a stretch. Why would you marry someone you had absolutely no sexual interest in?
She's a psychopath who got pleasure out of the whole game. Probably would've done it to other men if not caught and incarcerated. There are women who have done this to three or four men before getting caught. They just continue until stopped. They seem to get pleasure out of the deceit and control it gives them.
@@chelleyd4020I know many dudes that had a wife and kids and came out of the closet when they were in their 40's, really not that uncommon as humans are good with lying to themselves and living in denial
I agree. Your parents are not considered married since they never consumated
Because I simply cant imagine such people being capable of expressing _human emotion._
Wishing you and your brother all the best across the miles.
(They adopted me when i was 12, after a psychologist suggested i would behave 'less weird' socially if they included me in their family.)
I don't know what made my parents the way they are (i suspect one was sexually abused and that the other was abused by parents verbally/physically), but they're still pretty positive they're heroes for rescuing--and attempting to 'save'--me.

@@ingridfong-daley5899 Thank you for such an elaborate response, it truly allowed me to _envision_ the type of "life" youve had to endure and moreover: SURVIVE through w/ those _people._ I KNOW 'their' type, I have encountered many like them during the course of my life on this planet.
Their *tragedy* is that they are not aware as to HOW fortunate they were in having a child like YOU.
I say this to you as a woman and a mother who was beyond fortunate to have raised my 3 _step children_ , and who REMAINED with me after my _husband_ decided to leave us for another woman, and while I was 7 months pregnant w/ his child.
My 3 children decided to remain w/ me and their _biological mother_ was "relieved" in "unburdening" herself of having to _care for them_ ---- and their father didnt put up a fight either.
Those children were my GIFT from GOD, I firmly believe it. They helped me raise their baby sister, and all of them ventured out on their own once they met their _significant others_ and today have children of their own. I am now a grandmother of 6 beautiful ANGELS, and I consider myself BLESSED in this respect, because I consider children to be a GIFT from God, in order to show us that He truly LOVES us ---- whether these children are our own biological children, or --- God has CHOSEN to place them into our lives through some other means.
I am so happy to know that you have emerged WHOLE out of that home and away from those _people_ ---- and that you have managed to SUCCEED in both your personal and professional life! That to me, is the best REVENGE!
May God continue to BLESS and PROSPER you in every way possible, and to STRENGTHEN and EMPOWER you in overcoming any and all of Life's obstacles, now and forevermore.
Much LOVE, hugs and best wishes to you across the miles, and God be with you always my dear. 🌹
@@ingridfong-daley5899 Glad to hear that about your life working out. I was in a religious cult at one point. Those cults are purely satanic. God said nothing about being prudish about married sex. The cult I was in encouraged married couples to rat on each other if one wanted to do something that wasn't your typical man on top sex. They were mean people. That's how you know it's demonic. They do not have the peace and joy of Jesus Christ with the goal of treating all people in a loving manner. Sure, they put on a good exterior front of being warm and friendly until you're trapped. Thank God, He delivered me from such mess. Enjoy your life! God bless you and yours! Jesus said we will know His true followers by the fruit they produce. Apparently, Jordan's fruit reveals otherwise.
She meant to k*ll him! With a blindfold on, and arguing on the edge of a cliff with the woman who was refusing to consummate their marriage after eight days he just turns his back to her? That’s when she thought that pushing him was the right thing to do? That STORY wouldn’t even fool a 10 year old reading a comic book! If she really cared about him, but believed marriage was a mistake, she’d have gotten an annulment. He probably had life insurance.
His mother raised a wonderful young man who fell in love with the wrong girl. SO flippin sad!
She didn’t believe in sex, but murd*r?
Oh what is this world coming to? I guess the only actual blessing here is that she didn’t get to have any kids before taking life.
He was an only child. Now his mom has no part of him left here. At least grandchildren would ease that pain a bit.😢
Did she really think she would get away with it?
@@MaroonRose3216 Probably not. I don’t think she ever even thought about how anybody in the world would do something so disgusting.
@@GenXfrom75 I know. What a loss. 😢

If you’re that unhappy in a relationship, just move on. What a dumb person to not leave the relationship before getting married.
Not’s not like Jordan was blackmailing her or holding her hostage.
heartbreaking when his friend broke down and cried
I'm just wondering why the guy married a woman that looked horrified to marry him?

I'm a conservative. I'd say I'm for being tough on crime. 98 years and he didn't Kill anybody?....how about 25, out in 15 if he really changes?..I know that can't be 100 percent proven...EVER...but that's what second chances are about.
Wow.
I'm old now....55 :)
I did things in my late teens, 20s and even early 30s that I would Never do now.
Nothing that would put me away...but stupid stuff.
98 year? Too many life terms in the US.
Save the 30, 40 year and life terms for the really incorrigible. People that hurt or kill and take pleasure in it...or are indifferent to it...people who harm kids badly....
Armed robbery is BAD...more than one!! 25 years and a possibility of freedom in 15 years seems fair.
98 is insane.
Most conservatives change their viewpoints when they come to understand how our criminal justice actually works. Police body cam footage & public platforms like YT have also poured salt on the 'back the badge' folks.
Being a "kind and loving person" to random people, makes you prey. Trust must be earned. Protect yourselves.
Yes. I'm not a religious Bible thumper but there's one verse I'll never forget...
“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces."
This man must be one very strong. And God definitely had a plan for him. And justice for the bad. He must be so proud of his children and his children must be proud of their dad. Amazing story.
