Being interviewed or seeing these types of documentaries can be extremely difficult especially early on when people do not have all the facts and victim blame. Thankfully that isn't the case here. My heart goes out to the victim and her loved ones. I cant say the pain goes away but it gets better with time and a LOT of therapy in my case.

@@Bettinasisrg funny how "good men" always seem to know what to say or do when their mother, daughter or wife is the one who is targeted. So stop giving grown men passes for their cowardice and complacency. They don't get involved simply because that would then mean that the world would become a more equitable place where they have less power and more moral responsibility, and none of them want that. Even though it comes with a huge price tag, which is the detriment of half the human race...including "their" women, AKA their property. They know exactly what they're doing, each and every one of them, believe me. To think otherwise is to ignore the abhorrent and reprehensible nature of XY's...which is that they are testosterone driven PREDATORS and EGO MANIACS, and this will never ever change. True as. This is life.
It's a magical story ( an "afterlife"), & an excuse to not do everything to make life better for others NOW.
And how can THEY forgive someone FOR the victim ?
It's like eg- me forgiving someone else for breaking your nose.
Who am i to forgive FOR the victim?
      It doesn't heal anything.
It just makes them feel like they did something ( without actually doing something ).
Same as when preachers do it.
They just want people's annoyingly obvious pain to stop rocking the boat.
They just want them to stop talking about it, so they can get back to preaching stories, ( but without giving the means to know how to deal with it properly ).

My friend Katie Poirer was kidnapped, r***d and murdered when she was 19 years old working midnight at our town gas station in Moose Lake MN. I saw her last minutes on the surveillance tape as he had her by the neck forcing her of the store with him and was bad quality. The evidence that proved they had the right guy was a tooth filling in his fire pit that was so rare that material filling had only been used on a couple people and it matched her X-rays. It was the only part of her that survived the wood chipper. While they were searching the pit they also found several different DNA samples and small bone fragments that were not from her and remain unidentified. There are real monsters out their in this world

  • @tomnoyb3286

Jesse's father "forgives" her killer... UNBELIEVABLE!!! I wonder what MESSAGE he thought he was giving in that - it's "OK" to kill someone? When I worked with police in NZ, I attended a court case on a man who had raped and almost beaten a fourteen year old girl to death, On his conviction, and as he was about to be taken from the courtroom, the girl's mother got up - walked up to him with her arms wide, gave him a hug, and told him she "forgave him."
EVERYONE was shocked, and you should have seen the look on the daughter's face - the message she took from that, was that her mother was "OK" with someone raping and beating her half to death.
I followed them outside and before he was placed in the car, I asked the police (who knew me), if I could ask him a question. They told me to go ahead, so I asked "So - how does it feel being forgiven like that?" He looked at me, thought for a moment and then replied - "Oh - pretty good eh! I suppose it doesn't matter if I do it again eh?"
So before "forgiving," you REALLY need to consider what MESSAGE you are delivering and most times, it will be a "wrong" one!
