Hi there, glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for your comments. Bowler (Coke) hats are great to wear for formal events, and a good look really comes do to the fit and it should be remembers that here are many different styles of bowler hats out there to choice from. Have you considered wearing a bowler?🙂👍
Good afternoon squire. The dark navy suit paired with the black shoes and brolly is a particularly striking look on you, as is the bowler, especially with your handle bar moustache and beard. I'm really looking forward to Autumn and experimenting with different ensembles and layering, and i plan on finally wearing my brown stingy brim!
Hi there, glad you enjoyed the video and you are looking forward to autumn, it sounds like you have already got your signature looks already planned out and with the stingy brim🙂👍 Great to hear from you👍
I'm with you Chris looking forward to autumn when I can break out the tweed and the brogue boots. And start wearing my fedora more. By the way that is a great looking suit. Love linen suits. I really like the tie and pocket square. Cheers Ron
Hi Ron, glad you enjoyed the video. It sounds like you are already prepared and set for a change in the weather conditions 🙂. I'm not wearing a suit, the ensemble is actually separates - a linen/cotton mix jacket, but I agree with you the tie and pocket square adds to the overall look and makes it quite striking👍🙂
Autumn is my favorite season for my wardrobe. Most of what i own is for Autumn through to spring. I actually hardly dress in suits in the summer because temperatures here are just far too high. Only a couple more weeks until it gets cool enough for my tweed!
Hi there, I can fully appreciate what you are saying about summer conditions and wearing a suit. It's great to hear that you are looking forward to wearing tweed in a few more weeks when the weather cools a little. Thanks for your comments and glad you enjoyed the video👍🙂
Yeah, I want to pick up a wool chore jacket, a white button up cardigan sweater with some sweater vest, & a red tweed overcoat. Also need some oxford shirts. I want a camel hair suit but probably wont have the money to get that this year
Excellent content, Chris, and a timely reminder that my wardrobe is missing a decent raincoat. I really like the pale beige summer jacket and tie / pocket square ensemble you are wearing for this presentation. Very smart! BTW, congratulations on achieving 8k subscribers.
Hi John, glad you enjoyed the video. A raincoat is a great addition and you can still use it is a casual or formal manner to great effect. Thanks also for your continued support for the channel and your recognition of the channels continued growth 👍🙂
Very well done on the color and fabric guidance Chris. Turtle neck sweaters give a sophisticated look with a sports or wool jacket. Cords and flannels are great for autumn too. The Bowler hat is too costumish for me. Instead the Homburg is preferable. Especially grey with a black band. Otherwise the tweed news boy is definitely on the menu. Nice rollout for autumn Chris 👍. Cheers
Great video Chris. I truly enjoyed it and listening to you is always a delight. My favorite season of the year is coming. One of my favorite looks is to combine a dress shirt with.a shawl collared cardigan instead of a sports jacket. Great in the in between seasons time and going for an errand. Autumn is also marked for me when my shoes and boots with rubber soles are coming out and the leather soles are going into storage.
Hi Kay, great to hear from you again. I totally agree with you, I have a navy shawl collared arran cardigan and it regularly makes an appearance in the autumn and more wintery part of the year. I also start to transition towards rubber soled shoes and boots, in the later more wet part of autumn. Glad you enjoyed the video👍🙂
Hi Roger, glad you felt inspired by the video, I would suggest you consider wool or cotton based Cavalry twill as there are more harder wearing, rather than the man made fibre versions as they are easily plucked or snagged, I'd avoid them👍🙂
i think a good part of thath would likely be to casuaol for my personaly id probably go with either a brown tweed 3 piece suit or a double breasted pinstripe one combined with a top hat or homburger and a long wool doube breasted coat
Just checked the 45 day forecast….It’s going to average 70°/21c 🤬. Maybe November will bring the cooler temperatures🤞. Till then I’ll simply crank up the air conditioning and wear jeans and tweed around the house 🤣🤷
I would suggest eBay, but if you want to buy new, then try Christys' they do a Fashion Bowler in Black for a Sale price of presently £105.00🙂 hope that helps👍
Hi there, unfortunately that is not easy to answer as ties generally are around 8cm wide in most shops now, you could try eBay or vinted, I've personally had great success on those sites to get tie that are 9-10 cms wide. Tieroom is a reasonable company, but i would personally recommend passaggio Cravette, for hand made Italian ties here is a link: passaggiocravatte.com/
My favorite thing about the autumn is tweed jackets!
Hi Mike, I totally agree with you 👍🙂
The David Attenborough of men's attire.
On the money as always Sir.
Thanks Steve, glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
Few can pull off wearing a bowler. You and Ash Jones certainly can.

Yes, the upcoming season is fantastic for clothes lovers, full of rich colours and layers.

Hi Douglas, glad you enjoyed the video. Your alternative suggestion to wearing a bowler is a great one. 👍🙂

Best part of the year!
Glad you enjoyed the video and I agree with you👍🙂
Once again a nice video Chris. I would like to hear more about molton jackets and suits if possible for an upcoming video. Cheers!
I'll have to have a look into it for you, thanks for the suggestion🙂
@@TheBritishDapper No rush Chris. Might be interesting as you don't see them often imo

Where can I find a good cheap bowler hat?

Can you recommend a company that sells wide neckties?
