TripleThreatRC _Thank you very much for your kind comments, my friend. Now I'm working on a controversial video_ *_BEST LANDINGS_* The pilots should be honoured as well 😎 _Cheers, Horst_
The pilot of the FW190 @ 4:00 or so deserves a round of applause, that was a brilliant save in a Tornado.....WHO FLIES IN WIND LIKE THAT ??? I think the model in the last clip might need a bigger motor.....it seems to have some weight issue's....
Appollo It’s good to use less glue to reduce overall weight. Also some parts are supposed to be delicate or not glued on at all. For example, the canopy shouldn’t be glued because it must be removed to change the battery.
Many ''ouches'' of varying degree - too many to comment on all specifically but a great collection and fortunately some close calls that were not too bad. Mind you, the display mid air wreck was especially painful to see! Also, the high wind event - doubt I'd even have gone up in that sort of wind! You must have dozens of GB of material! As always Horst - superb videography - absolutely great.
Hallo Horst, erst einmal Dir und Deiner Familie einen schönen 1.Advent. Und dann noch einen Dank für die tollen Landungen in diesem Film. MfG der Peter aus Usedom
Bonjour Horst, Beautiful videos throughout the year, with experienced pilots, but the worst happens sometimes, it's part of the Moments. Thumbs Up for all your nice videos. Cheers, Christian.
Thanks for this video. Iam waiting for it every single year. Nobody wants to crash a plane, but it sure looks good to see that Iam not the only one crashing mine ;) Thanks again, merry christmas and big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
Love these videos shows humanity of flying. It's very fluid situation that ends bad sometimes I know these vids are the worst of what's happ6 not a collection of best landings. I think people are confused on what s being shown. Great vids of nicely built models
Oh my heart sinks a little when I see these crashes. Although I don't build, yet.. I am really looking forward to getting into this hobby. Wow really good save at 7:00 & 8:20
Wow that first model never really got out of nearly stalling the whole time, until it finally did. The fact that it wasn't even responding to aileron input while still on the ground may have been a red flag!
Yes. A shame about the beautiful model. The reason was that the engine was not performing properly. Fortunately, the damage was not too drastic. _Thank you for your kind comment. Much appreciated !_
Пилоты красавицы. Коптями управлять очень сложно, а на таком ветре особенно. Центровка передняя. Только подозрительно часто отлетают стойки шасси... В общем весело.
Blockio1999 _there was a lot more of totally destroyed planes in 2017._ At some of the crashes my camera was not with me and others I was asked by the pilots to not show. I'm always glad to leave an airshow without seeing any crash. 👍
I hate to see people tear up their airplanes. Half of these guys aren't flaring on their landings. That's why they are hitting so hard it is knocking their wheels off and collapsing their landing gear. The guy that taught me to fly years and years ago always said, "Learn to land, then you can fly any airplane out there." I've trained hundreds of people to fly and I've told them the same thing. We used to go out and shoot touch and goes all day. It really makes you a better pilot. I learned to fly in the Great Plains of the Texas Panhandle where the wind ALWAYS blows. Later I lived for sixteen years in Salt Lake City. If the wind got to ten miles per hour, everyone but me would go home. In Texas, where I grew up, if you didn't fly in the wind, you just didn't fly. Once in Salt Lake City, I test flew a Goldberg Skylark 56 with 40+mph gusts of wind. You just have to keep your speed up on approach and keep some throttle on in case a gust drops out from under your plane.
Spectacular I see these videos of accidents and I go the desire to fly lol but they are good because one learns from the horrors. I send a very big greeting for everyone from the Club Albatros grouping of airplanes of Buenos Aires 😃👍👍.
Props (npi) to the guy landing the F4U with the fluttering aileron, that was top work. And where did all these FW-190s come from? The germans didnt even make that many!
Horst! As always, I enjoy your videos! But, I must admit that I always look forward to the end of the year and your Moments videos:) Keep up the great work!
Why doesn't anyone pull up hard, making the aircraft go to stall speed, the slowest it can go? Then attempt to land? I dont understand. Most of these planes come in super hot!
6:57 nice plane in this list ...Smooth landing after engine fail like an artificial intelligence...I think sometimes the wind help for the safe landing. . .
The me 163 is actually designed like that, they used dollys to take off and they would detach the dollys while the off the ground cause they where rocket powered jets, then when they land they have a retractable skid
A killer video Horst! Two thumbs up for a great video on the best RC channel on TH-cam!
Cheers, Bob 👊😎
TripleThreatRC _Thank you very much for your kind comments, my friend. Now I'm working on a controversial video_ *_BEST LANDINGS_*
The pilots should be honoured as well 😎
_Cheers, Horst_
LMAO! Indeed, they should be honoured Horst! Mind you, most of the landings on your channel are very worthy! I look forward to the "Best Of Video" 👊
Hi RCScaleAirplanes wann kommt des video vom Air Meet mit der mit der asw und der piper
I from Chile 🇨🇱 fans airplane
@@nils5292 OKAY! Whatever YOU SAID is fine with everyone ELSE! ENGLISH???

A normal day in the world of arcade in War thunder
I was actually thinking the same thing at 1:24, but for arcade and rb. So. Many. Landings.
It was actually scale flying! Search for"Focke Wulf FW 190 Rammjäger" xD
That always happens to me when I'm a fighter and a bomber
Lmao
XD
Moments is my favorite series on youtube, I can watch them over and over again forever!
That mid air collision was brutal
Dr Zachary Smith I like the way the last plane flew through the falling wreckage
3:00
this channel is going to hit
The pilot of the FW190 @ 4:00 or so deserves a round of applause, that was a brilliant save in a Tornado.....WHO FLIES IN WIND LIKE THAT ??? I think the model in the last clip might need a bigger motor.....it seems to have some weight issue's....
I‘m the pilot of the FW190 at min 3:53 ;) thank you for the compliment
You are welcome mate, that was a brilliant bit of controlled flying in heavy wind. MOST impressive.
Derrick Flyr it is also my favorite - I could fly it all day long it never gets boring 😀
I guess the wide spread of the landing gear also helped, Kurt Tank's design even saves planes in RC form xD
Those planes were hard to land when they were real. Hats off to the RC pilots who can land one safely
That was great Horst! The bit at the end was comical.
TAOFLEDERMAUS _Thanks my friend._ 😎👍
Just came from the latest video
TAOFLEDERMAUS you’re literally everywhere I go! 😂😂
Oooph! That midair collision was something! I loved how the pilot of the last plane instantly pulled up to avoid the falling debris, great reaction!
Spetsop h
Yeeeeeeeees it's that time of year again!
ProjectAir 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just a little scratch-no one will notice. Great vid, Horst. Been waiting for this one!
Is it me or are some of these builders forgetting how to use glue?
Glue is expensive. Models are cheap. 😉😂
Simple gluing won't help much with the forces at work here
They are eating all of the glue 😆
Appollo It’s good to use less glue to reduce overall weight. Also some parts are supposed to be delicate or not glued on at all. For example, the canopy shouldn’t be glued because it must be removed to change the battery.
Appollo also with the amount of kinetic energy in a plane crash, glue won’t help. The parts just break.
I’ve been waiting for this for so long. Well worth the wait!
2:52 best video moment.
Plane be like °□°
Glad to see you used the clip. Great video as always.
Ken Donnelly _Hi Ken. The crash of your P-40 was one of the best if seen so far. Sorry about the lost._
Thanks for your kind comments!
LOL It was my sons plane. He'l have another p-40 up soon
Mr. Horst, thank you for your brilliant review !
Josip Vrandecic _Thank you for watching and commenting every single video. I'm very glad having such a great fans._ 👍👍👍
That deadstick save of the Christen Eagle was awesome. A brilliant plane with a brilliant pilot.
love that final clip! hope all the crowd had the safety specs on :P
Those tiny plastic pilots make amazing emergency landings!!
Some stunning models here and amazing flying skills..👌🏼
You're so kind to put multiple languages in the introduction. I'm french by the way

I love RC been flying for ages, our club has a rule, no blaming for a mid air. Nice to see other people crash
Magnifique vidéo avec les petits gros !!

Thumbs Up for all your nice videos. Cheers, Christian.
That wing overcrash was brutal.
бипланщик с выключенным движком классно приземлился......7.20...респект пилоту.....
Да. Пилоту повезло, что он смог добраться до взлетно-посадочной полосы.
@@RCScaleAirplanes длинно........Пилоту повезло, что он смог.
Really great models, some of them handling the emergency very well😀
One of the better video's I've seen, Thanks for sharing.
Nice models. The mountains are beautiful, I've never seen mountains. Incredible
Thanks for this video. Iam waiting for it every single year. Nobody wants to crash a plane, but it sure looks good to see that Iam not the only one crashing mine ;) Thanks again, merry christmas and big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert

Ja ja ja
In most cases very skilled pilots dealing with technical problems and harsh weather.
Typically outstanding video work...and a chance to learn at the expense of others. Thanks
It hurts so much when the buiteful planes crash into the ground :( .but great video

Super video, thank you! Life is life and here is real life, nobody promised that it will be easy...
Love your videos. Always so well made. Keep up the goood work
The gusting wind on some of those landings was just hellacious!
Why fly when it was obviously soooo windy??
Oh my heart sinks a little when I see these crashes. Although I don't build, yet.. I am really looking forward to getting into this hobby. Wow really good save at 7:00 & 8:20

Ah, I see... yeah, makes sense.
Of course... I dont even want to know how much time and money was lost in that midair

Why is it your least favourite

It is amazing how many guys flying nice planes cannot land (or even fly decently)......

Eeeh kinda me 😐
I liked the picture of the wind sock. You can tell the pilots were noticing it too. They looked “frozen “ inside of their cockpits.
yeah!
Best video ever

If you hung out next to a WW2 airfield you would see allot of the same type of landings
I think once you have seen 5 planes tip up onto the nose when landing you have enough to last a lifetime.
Where is this place? Beautiful scenery
There are different locations in this video

5:21 “That’s some dysfunctional looking landing gear”
5 secs later-Yup!
Your Name that's not a landing gear. Me163's took off with this gear, dropped it and landed on a landing skid
