I dig similar things about my W203. The AMG Sport kit hits different and seein' that hood star is kinda special. I have to agree that the right kind of aftermarket wheels make this body style pop. I will lower mine just a bit. I don't want it too aggressive. Just enough to disappear some of that fender gap in the front and give it a certain energy in the rear. Also, crazy about the interior and EVERYTHING works in mine including the rear window shade! I would like to upgrade my head unit to a double din NAV/Android system so I can go Bluetooth hands free with my cell. Oh yeah. Everyone loves the Pewter color on mine. It's kinda like a Champaign color.
Yes! The head unit will make things so much better for the interior and everyday use!
I daily one W203 C200 Kompressor with the elegance package and it resists very well, the leather on the dash looks brand new, it's simple and elegant, reliable, fuel efficient and drives like a high end luxury car, specially the elegance package comes with softer suspension and wooden dash elements.

The 4th thing he likes ,I totally understand the feeling. I own a 1989 300CE (W124) and that Mercedes star emblem on the hood gives some sort of confidence....I cant explain it but it just feels good.

I feel ya bra my c230 sport intake manifold went out on me wensday getting it fixed hopefully by the end of the month or in a week or 2 it’ll be back in my hands

It should be back and running. Thats the down side on these intake manifolds if they are not well taken care of.
@@HeyboysGarage I did the smog last week and just registered it to my name I got code p2006 when I smogged it took it to my specialist said he can’t fix it so I have to take it to maybe a dealer or another specialist that my brother went to he has a c230 sport in blue 07 as well he doesn’t use it

This is NOT mini E-class dude, w203 is mini S-class, also it built like this because of Mercedes-Benz AMG C-Class DTM (W203) this THING is a monster.

Wow, that sounds amazing and looks fantastic. Right, I need to sort mine out. I’ve got a c280 same model but 2008 face lift model. Same colour but all stock, however mines really quiet and totally stock. Mine is an estate which is just my spec, I think you’ve given me ideas cause mines just so quiet but I’d love it to look the part and yours look really tasteful and with the colour combo I’ve got my car should be ace. 👌🏿
I love how the 2008 face lift models look! Excellent choice on the color. A set of wheels will drastically change how yours will look. It will look even better just because I like the 2008 body styling. For exhaust I have heard the c300 sounds really good from watching JR Garage youtube channel
How do I point out if I have the 2008 facelift? I thought it came in 2004. With the new dials. My C280 4-matic is a 2007
C55 here. Agree with everything in video except need for aftermarket rims. I would add that the W203 is a small car and feels even smaller with 362 hp. I got mine this year. It has low miles and was very affordable.
Nice! If i found a C55 with a great price I would get one for sure. Aftermarket wheels are my thing it just improves overall performance and overall look of the car!
@@HeyboysGarage Style is personal preference so all good on rim choice. For a six cylinder W203, your choice is solid. I agree with your decision to stay at stock ride height. Your gaps are perfect. BTW, mine is black on black.
@@encinobalboa black on black is sick also! I test fitted the wheels from the CLK on it and it looked amazing! I miss the w203 tho
@@HeyboysGarage There is a '03 CLK55 with 128k miles for 8.2k asking that is tempting me, lol. Wish it had the 4 tail pipes like the C55.

Hey I know this is an older video but I’m turning my 07 c230 in its head complete make over for this whole year I got it at auction and it’s in rough shape. I’m trying to figure out what is the w203? I’m looking everywhere trying to get a straight answer before I get a body kit after patching this guy up.

19x8.5 all around. Front 235/35/19 rear 255/40/19. Unusual type of setup
@@HeyboysGarage Thanks! I got a C230 sport coupe and is really hard to find examples of wheels and tyres that fit this car. I am thinking of going from 17" to 18" wheel, nothing to crazy

Hey i got a question. Does your C230 sound off a chime when you lock/ unlock your car?
Mines doesnt when I bought mines. And I did pull the siren out since it was blowing fuses and never replaced it.
Ive seen other 07 C230 chime when they lock and unlock their doors.
Ive also read on forums its a setting only the dealer can turn on
Yeah mine chimes. My Clk does not , I wonder if it’s an only dealer thing or if it’s possible to turn it on with a computer scanner at a Euro shop
Mine also did chime but the chime eventually went away after like a year and a half. Eventually my battery for my siren gave out and the siren kept going off until I replaced it. Now I got my chime back and a new siren alarm :)
So if you want your chime, you’re gonna have to replace the siren.

Weird thing about the siren when i took mines out even tho it didnt work. But i guess it shorted since theres wires still connected to it. But the shorted siren kept popping fuses for the antenna. And you will notice your fob wont be able to lock or unlock the doors unless you are standing right next to the car. You will also notice weak FM signal on the radio. Once i pulled the siren out no more popped fusesand key fob back to normal.
Thinking of getting a 230 because my clk350 is giving me those damn balancer shaft codes. Prob just gonna find a cheap sub 150k mile c230 and garage the 350 Cabrio until I can afford to get it fixed
If the Clk is giving you problems with the balance shaft I wouldn’t get a c230. I would get one with either the m112 motor or m113/m113k motor.
The balance shaft is gona run you like 5-6k to repair. Mostly labor cost. I was lucky when I bought mines from a local shop owner who replaced the balance shaft and timing chain
@@bahlowwings did he replace yours with the updated balance shaft to not have the issue anymore? Well the chain will still go back

I got the c240 version, i am 18 years old at college i wanna mod it a little bit but i dont know what to start with , i want to apply a cold air intake an exhaust system and finally a turbo , would it work for this car or you don’t recommend it
I had someone say they spend 3k to put a turbo in their and made 400HP
honestly first thing you should start with is a new set of head lights. these cars are notorious for the yellow headlights. i have the spec d aftermarket headlights and they really make the look of the car.

Yes they are the same. Anything c-class from 2001 - 2007 is a W203

Rear 255/40/19. But for the rear you can go 255/35/19

That would probably be the best option. They make them better for European owners vs the ones shipped here
Why didn't u want a C320 o C350 the W203 versions
Trust me I want get the C320 but this one showed up as a really good deal so I went with it plus a different engine platform to learn more about

I just bought one with 60k miles running like a champ as well and mines a sport as well I’m guessing it’s amg package not really sure how to tell tho
You can tell from exhaust tips and bumpers
