Liz, That is the best tip I have seen on separating napkins. I can usually get the first layer off easily but the middle layer can be difficult without tearing. Can't wait to try it out! Until later, Judy
Hello Liz, just loved your book page ephemera, very pretty. Your tip on separating the layers of a napkin is one I will definitely try out, thanks for sharing.
Also, I’ve seen projects where people stamp images (waterproof ink) on that blank napkin layer and then it can be used like collage paper or rice paper (it “disappears” when adding it to the page but the stamped design remains....so pretty) so I’m glad you mentioned to save that bit. Also, I’ve been thinking you can use it to collage/glue down over a dried flower to seal/protect it. I’ve been saving dryer sheets for this too. Again, thanks for your inspiration! ❤️🦋💜
Great video Liz. A garden journal is such a great reference for future gardening years. I use my seed packets in it and agree, keep it simple. Maybe create a small garden for the bunnies.
Thank you for sharing this great ideas l love using old book pages your napkin ideas are great 👍 I didn’t know you could use glue stick your’s are so beautiful 😃 Theola
I am hooked on the tip that separates the napkin layers! Did about 20 in only a few minutes. I am using an old gift card. I like how it keeps the underlayers in good condition. I had been using tape to pull the bottom layer off, which damages it. Thanks, Liz!
Good afternoon dear Liz! This was a great video, it’s always a good idea to revisit past projects I think, thanks for the tip with the napkin, never knew how easy that would be until you showed it! Love the bag, well all of them actually 😊 so much fun! Thanks my friend for the conversation. The snow has almost disappeared here thankfully with the sun being out for days, I too do potted plants all around my retain wall with a bench in the centre, it’s beautiful when all are in bloom, so vibrant with colour. Have a very blessed weekend ❤️🌹🙏
Ooooooo I can’t wait to see your garden journal!! I’ve been wanting to make a garden journal (I have lots of dried flowers from my yard that I want to use) and a butterfly journal (I raise monarchs and Eastern black swallowtails). Your ideas are so inspirational! TYFS ❤️🦋💜
Liz - Since I discovered your channel recently, Ive been gorging myself on your videos. You have so many fabulous ideas to share, and I love your relaxed manner while teaching, Can you tell me something about the brown craft paper (or card stock) page that shows up in this journal at 7:15? It's got sort of a big scallop at the top and bottom (or right and left) and a point in the middle of each side. Do you sell a template like this or do you know where I might find one? Thanks so much.
I found it in this set of tool. It is awesome. www.amazon.com/dp/B088JRZ76W?tag=onamzlizcar03-20&linkCode=ssc&creativeASIN=B088JRZ76W&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.ZTXILHU39EGV

I wasn't able to find that little spreader tool. What is it called? Love the napkin separation idea although I use the plies for cleaning up.
