The question.. what pens you use with your planner? Not necessarily Jibun Techo or Hobonichi. Has all of thatmake me obsessed to planning,not doing it.. At the end I made my own planner with the most simple and most me.. 🤭 And questioning myself what I really need in working & studying.. Looks the happy moodis essential.. so sometimes buy What Makes Me smile item. I bought a rim of plain book paper and doing DIY midori planner with several refill. Use rubber band to make extra slot. It works for my jolted note at field survey. But not for note reading & memoing when doing some qualitative analysis.
So.. I have some regular stainless binders and slim binders, with several kind of bindings. Rings, dual plactic tie, smart plactic binders like Kokuyo/Maruman/Midori has... But ya.. Myhighschool soul (90's) coming back... I'm happy with colorful pens & highlighter.. 😄

I mainly use pentel energel, lamy fountain pens, crayola super tips, stabilo boss and steadtler pastel textsurfers for my Dingbats Bullet journal 😊
(i feel like those, besides the crayolas, are the most german stationery items one could use)
@@coryry 😆 color code, divider, & page flag. I rely on page flag-stickynote.. For me its more useful coz I could arrange as I need for today or for this week. One or to binder for mobilization, a folder to brought important sheets, and few binder those I said.. to keep it as categories I've made. Changing alot. Some people woule prefer folder or odner to keep their notes organize. I use colors, sticker, or any doodling pict to make devider. That's just how my brain works.. 😅

If you are planning on using the frixion pens leaving your planner in a hot car or hot environment can make the ink disappear. Usually you can put it in a fridge or a freezer for a little while to make it reappear (mostly) but it's something to be aware of if you live somewhere hot.

I also had some words coming back, really weird! They work well overall, but I prefer my fountain pens :-)
I use Frixion for school 😌 I'm brave enough to use it on exams/quizzes (tho I sometimes worry it will get erased and I'll get 0s xD)

I have kurutoga advance, I gave the regular one to my brother. I prefer Monograph shaker, I have 4 of it, and Pilot H-1010. Frixion.. yess, plenty color. Sarasa vintage & mark on. Highlighters ofcourse Kokuyo Mark+, something... Stabilo boss pastel, Sakura Foam eraser, Uni-pin & Sakura micron fineliners. And Zebra's local semigel ballpoint: Pic Candy 0.7, Piccolo 0.7, Picknock 0.7, Hana-hana 4Color multipen. And wait further for Pilot Acroball & Uni Jetstream... Why I still keep manual when most moving into digital which is more practical, sustainable, easy to rearrange, acessible from many divices and places... COZ I'M THE MANUAL PERSON WHO INTERNALIZED INFORMATION BY WRITING IT. I remember what I write more than what I type ... Who's here have the same habits? 👆pls. 😆

I love my Jibun Techo. After decades of searching for the perfect planner it’s the one that works best for me. I’m on my third year of using it. I prefer the Biz model.

All the papers are also fountain pen friendly papers! I use TWSBI M and Kakuno F nibs for writing in the Diary on a daily basis.
Hi can you please do a video on minimalist stationary as in stationary which look minimal as I struggle to find stationary that fits my Aesthetic
I use Uni Jetstream Edge 0.28 in the Techo. I have small handwriting and it’s perfect. I also discovered the Thin paper really showcases fancy fountain pen inks! Very comparable to Tomoe River.

I need them to start selling a Days with 60 GSM. Asa Blue in a fine tip has proved too much for 52 GSM. I had to switch to extra fine and use caution.
I like using the FriXion gel pens to mark my calendar, but for my experience, I'll probably avoid the lighter colors that seems to have problems with quickly drying out in comparison to the darker ones, which is a shame cause I like color coding for quick references.
The only one of mine that dried out was a dark green, and that happened because I forgot to retract the tip. Mine are a couple years old now and they're all perfectly fine.
@@superfund42 I've always had success with that color, on my multi 0.5 pen and single 0.38 so far and I make sure they're retracted out of that concern. Unfortunately it seems my light grn, blu and baby pink all conked out on me a few weeks after getting them. It's a pattern I've had with other light colors though, so I think I'll have to pass on them.
You can place your marker in a glass of warm water to reactivate the dried ink. There's even a video here on Jetpens about that, you may check that out. :)

THANK you for doing a video for stuff for the Techo! I love mine! I will have to try some (most) of these out. I LOVE using the Uniball Signo DX .28 in my Jibun Techo B6 Slim and the Gloo is amazing for the paper :D I love the Frixion pens, but I write tiny in the Techo, so the thicker mm don't work for me.
The frixions shown are .38. They work great in my planner!!! I LOVE them!! And my daughter uses them in her school notes and her writing is teeny tiny!

@@rmgalardo just look at their color swatches carefully. Violet is darker than purple. I love them both, but I used to get the wrong refill. Pilot Frixions are my weakness!! Mother's Day, don't get me flowers, get me Frixion refills!! 😁😁

Why am I watching this? I have dozens of pens and jet pens doesn’t even deliver where I live. I lost I’ll love these videos though.
I love those thin frixion pens. The 0.38 ones are great but uncomfortable to hold, I use a grip with them.
I love them too! Great idea to use a grip on them. Now you can get the multi-pen in a clear body, so you could put 4 colors in a larger, easier to hold pen body. That was my recent splurge.

Please may I ask, what type of lead you used in the video for the mechanical pencil? It looked delightfully creamy and dark in shade. Would love to purchase that pls.
I thoughtthey use 2B 0.5. The creamy hi-polymer brand I use Pilot ENO or ENOX, Pentel Hi-Polymer or Ainstein, Unibal Nanodia... those the best.. 2B is the best for me. Less smudges, smooth writing. If I need sktches pens, I'll use 2.0 lead holder (Muji is the best for me) with Staedler or Rotring lead. For precise, 2B 0.3 in Pilot ENO & Uni NANO DIA.

Are there any non-frixion pens that would work well on the thin paper? And would mild liner highlighters be okay or would they bleed through?
Kokuyo ME, Uni Jetstream, and Pilot Hi-Tec-C pens are great on the Jibun Techo paper! Mildliners also work well on it; the paper is thin but it's highly resistant to bleedthrough.

Too bad the Kokuyo Tack Memo sticky notes are out of stock and don’t seem to be manufactured anymore. I would much prefer to use those with soft pastel colors than the Jibun Techo goods sticky notes with vibrant colors. Can’t seem to find the Tack Memos in these perfect sizes anywhere online.

DON'T FORGET YOUR FRIXION WRITINGS IN YOUR CAR DURING HOT WEATHER. I learned that the hard way. Thankfully, I'd already taken pictures(rocketbook).

NEVER USE PILOT FRIXION!!! if you your writing in the sun or just anywhere above 30 degrees Celsius. One of my exams were fine with pilot FRIXIONs and I failed because it just vanished in my teachers draw
You should not use Frixion pens on anything important (like exams) or legal (like cheques or document signatures) for this reason. Think of it as a particularly light pencil. Fine for your own use, but don’t expect anything durable out of them.
