Thanks for the video. I was about to buy a new vacuum and was given the idea to check the belt. Belt was snapped and replacing it sure saved me a lot of money. Thanks!
I haven't done it yet but I think I know why I couldn't get the belt off because there's an extra screw every other person kept neglecting how to take off the screw if it works you are the man I'll check it and get back to you. I'm not really a technical person when it comes to fixing stuff but I'm trying to learn
Your right, finding the right belt is the hardest part of this job. The belt used in this video fit my UH71231VCD whole house pet care vacuum. It is a snug fit but much better than the recommended belt from Canadian Tire. Thanks.
My new belt purchase has the same numbers as the original belt, but is still slack and not spinning the brush. I am no mechanic by any means, so I think there is another issue at hand I am unaware about. There appears to be a roller wheel that looks like it should move up to apply tension to the belt. It has a rim on both sides to keep the belt in line, but when I have the new belt on, and all the screws are back in place, I have it standing upside down, and it runs, but no spinning brushes.(?) What gives? Signed, curious in Kentucky.
I don't see any Philips head screws and then you skipped over the screw part so what kind of screws are these on the Hoover WindTunnel? I've never seen them before they're like aliens
The small belt on the 2 belt one, is twice as difficult and the littler one gets stuck and slips off a lot, it should be recalled. Its a recurring nightmare belt.
Thanks for sharing the info! If a picture is worth 1000 words, a video is worth at least a million.

Yeah Walmart and other model numbers came in bad. I didn't realize it till I saw your video. Thanks man.
They should have indicated on the vacuum cleaner the correct belt number, the numbers on the belt that I'm trying to replace are not visible anymore.
There are so many vacuum cleaner belts it’s amazing. Many were round rubber belts. 😃👍
This is a really useful video. Thanks. And cute dog!

i own the UH71250 windtunnel 2 and UH70120 windtunnel 1. end goal is to buy 1 belt size that will work for both
AH20080 belt length seems to be 14.17in
The belt I have is the wrong size on my vacuum. How do I figure out what size to use?
I would look for a number on the original belt or try referencing the hoover website parts lookup.
What that belt # off that bag?
The small belt on the 2 belt one, is twice as difficult and the littler one gets stuck and slips off a lot, it should be recalled. Its a recurring nightmare belt.
562289001 AH20065 belt seems to be 12.8in but info doesnt seem to be correct from what i gathered
