About the United States Marine Corps:
The Marine Corps defends the people of the United States at home and abroad. Within every Marine is the willingness to engage and determination to defeat any adversary, and it is this fighting spirit that allows us to fight and win our Nation’s battles.
The mission of the United States Marine Corps is made up of three promises: We make Marines, we win our Nation’s battles, and we develop quality citizens prepared to fight and win battles.
You don’t join the Marines-you become one, forged in the crucible of training aboard our recruit depots on Parris Island, South Carolina, and in San Diego, California, or through the dedication required of officer candidates at Officer Candidates School in Quantico, Virginia. Beyond the physical requirements, aspiring Marines must prove they have the honor, courage, and commitment to face and defeat any obstacle.
Today, more than 180,000 enlisted Marines and 23,000 Marine Officers serve in active duty or reserve forces on bases and in communities around the world, proudly carrying with them the core values of the Marine Corps.

Winter training would be tough training. Proud of our Marines. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant. Served 1973-1977.
Semper Fi. I remember doing cold weather training in the mountains in 97. Was cold as hell but fun. Learned to ski. We don't have mountains here in Texas so that was a completely new and awesome skill to learn.
@Rufio1975 Sounds like you was not raised in the snow ❄️. I'm from Charleston, West Virginia. Some winters we've had over 100 inches of snow. But last year hardly no snow. Don't think I'd like training in the cold and snow. Semper Fi Leatherneck
Did cold weather training 88 in little falls Minnesota it was a blast. I’d have a very hard time dropping into that water tho..Semper Fi! 85-91
@Mullet1024 I agree dropping into that cold water would not be fun. The coldest place I lived was the 2nd floor of our barracks at Camp Foster, LOL Aug74 to Sep75. My 2nd tour at Camp LeJeune Sep75 to Oct77, it was very cool in the winter. We did wear field jackets.... we had NO field jacket liners. Rough duty, LOL. BTW thank you for your service to our great Nation. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant.
Leaving for Basic in 1 week!!
good luck, buddi, semper fi!
If it's army,it's basic. If it's marine,it's boot camp. Which one?
I suggest you don’t or very much put more thought into it bro
@@Based_location
And who are you exactly? I joined whenever I graduated highschool and it straightened me out, gave me discipline and I met my wife of 24 years that I'm still with. You're just a stranger that doesn't know him. Mind your own business.
Good luck! Stay strong!! 💪 It's only 13 weeks... Remember that! God bless 🙏🙏
My Dad Was A Marine 1996-2002 He Is A Good Dad And I Want To Follow His Footsteps And Join When I Am The Proper Age He Lives Right Next To Someone Who Was In With Him To What Luck. Thank You To All Marines Who Served And The Ones That Are Serving Now.
The strength and mentality is beyond words 🙌🏼
Infantry Marines are terrifying. I was both a team leader and squad leader and every guy was like a pitbull on a leash. I would never want to engage in a firefight with those guys let alone fight one because of their capabilities.
I'm joining the Corps at 19! 🦅🌎⚓🖍️ OORAH!
Why are you waiting that long?
@eng.punisherzeus3867 19 is waiting too long? Lol, there were guys well into their 20s when I went to boot camp many moons ago
Semper fi, go ahead and never give up.
Winter training is hell on earth! I'd rather spend six months in the jungle. Oorah and semper Fi fellow warriors!
I'm the marine recruiter for Brooklyn ny, if you have any question leave me a comment. Ill be more than happy to assist you.
I want to join the Marine Corps cause I like being physical and I feel like the Marines are the most physical branch to be in, but after I spend about 15 years in the Corps I want to transfer to the Air Force to carry on a family tradition cause my grandpa and so on we’re all in the Air Force, so could I join the Corps and then switch to the Air Force after I spend 15 years in the Corps?
Thanks so much gentlemen for your service and sacrifice. ❤❤❤
Yeah we went everywhere but the snow...... Must of got a budget increase since I got out.
Cool moto army video......
Leaving next year for boot camp!
The Marines are the best!
im headed straight to the recruiting office once I turn 18 in about 3 years Semper FI
You can go into bootcamp as a 17 yo. You just need to turn 18 before you graduate
@@MichaelGarcia-cl1jl i know id prefer to graduate though cause after im joining the navy then try to become a SEAL
If you want to be a Navy Seal, why join the Corps?
@@JoellBanks-ri1pn to prepare me
@@FaZeBeavis-qs2xt what do you want to be in the Marine Corps than? Do you want to be a Marine Infantryman or Airborne or what?

Up in ft drum getting trained by the 10th mountain 😂
You live outside your comfort zones to defend freedom. Get er done!
I wish people could see what you guys did in Afghanistan and Iraq. Nothing but the Best. I remember flying into Camp Bastion in Afghanistan, the Brits were getting their asses handed to them. Who did American send, the Marines.
Get SOME Motovatior 's!!
Ooh Rah Devildog 's...
Is this an average grunt battalion or some kind of elite?
average 03 grunt unit. nice gear/equipment would make you assume they are elite but thanks to 2030 force design plan, your average grunt is going to have just under the capabilites of an elite operator or something. commadants 2030 plan is spectacular when you really dive into it.
Grunt units and even some arty units
What does semper Fi mean?
short for semper fidelis which means always faithful
If I could eat crayons I could do what they do too
Go Army!!

Just won my last allegations in harvard
😊😊
sad that these "students from the UniverSity of Misguided Children" were used for this propaganda ad. I keep hearing that so many are quitting/not reenlisting because of the BS these warriors have to daily put up with, that's never shown in these commercials. But what the hell...we all fell for it ! For all the brothers and sisters still in.. I pray that you do stay strong, stay Gung-Ho, and when the time comes, you'll know to make the right choice.
While Army recruits are still trying to figure out Emma's two moms, Marines are pulling themselves out of frozen ponds to continue mission.
It makes me happy to see the USMC has NOT gone woke yet.
Signed - an old school Army dood. RIP, US Army. I miss you.

As a marine in a Mat platoon for 7 months don’t join, go national guard instead. You actually get the job you want instead of them changing it last second and you get to go home. Go guard don’t go usmc I learned the hard way
You didn't like you lot you drew so you denigrate the entire branch of service.
You obviously chose to not make something of your choice to be part of something beigger than youself. That is not a reflection on the majority of selfless Marines who put forth their best effort and do their bit, regardless of how you choose to use your time.
If you are still in one piece and they trained, paid, fed, and housed you then they lived up to their end of the bargain.
You have absolutely zero to complain about you signed the line and served where they wanted you as understood by all right thinking enlistees. That's the way service goes.
Please find a job that doesn't matter and suck at it when no one depends on you. It's obvious you're not capable of seeing the big picture.
@@Based_location anti military supporter 💔
@@ToiletWarrior27 I’m not an anti military supporter infact I’m pro military. Just the system is stupid and you’ll get fucked
@@ToiletWarrior27nah he is in the military lol
I was also in MAT platoon for quite a while. In 29 palms. Did it suck. Yes. Once I finished though, I moved on to my training and then the fleet. The Marine Corps is what you make of it. Embrace the suck, have a positive mental attitude, and everything else will fall into place. What I would give to be able to workout with 100 Marines running in formation again calling cadence. To have so many people around you that feels like a tribe.
I am afraid we have aroused the devil
Nordic response. oof.
Please please help me anybody help me I really want join USA Marines or army so please help me contact me
