@@ladylillianna3739 Ah, if you were big on roleplaying this would most certainly be an issue. At the very least you would gain a title or some sort beyond just peasant.
@@TechnoMinarchist I agree. I should clarify that I specifically meant something along the lines of 'peasant trying to make a name for themselves'. Otherwise it would be difficult when it's already setting a specific title for the player.

I think that perhaps instead of saying “kill 96 Falmer”, the mod would benefit from using percentages, like the Great War mod. It’s a lot more encouraging knowing that your half way through than knowing you have to kill another 24 Falmer.
Well, there are practically 100 Falmer, so the percentages would read more or less the same, only a little less consistent, because how does one do 17% of 97 falmer to be killed? Little awkward maths, and approximations might mean you end up killing 2 enemies just to see a 1% increase, which would feel worse.
I'm guessing basic math is not your strong suit
24/96 is 25%, so you're 75% finished if you have 24 falmer to go.. and at least I hope most people can do that in their head at least approximately. Is it really necessary to have percentages?

You're right George. This mod does need a player journal to track all your contributions and ranking. In the mod Become a Bard you're given a Bard's Journal that tracks all your performances as well as your progress. It's a small item that adds a lot of convenience.
I did the catacomb quest in Skyrim VR with a level 1 character - and had a blast! :D I started as a Nord, "Erik the Slayer's Friend" alternate start, lots of fighting mods like Wildcat, Mortal Enemies and Complete Enemy Overhaul, as well as a multiple follower mod. I fast traveled to the citadel, found three more willing souls at the inn - two of which had no weapons or armor - and set to work. It was extremely thrilling to try and hold the line against the falmer hordes with my under-equipped band of merry men! Of course, it helped finding an elven mace in one of the chests, and my one-handed skill increased fast. It was so fun, in fact, that I did it again a few levels later, this time with a bow. It might be boring for a high-level superman, with no risk, but when all you can take is a couple of falmer blows before you die, it really got the pulse going. Recommended! :D

This author needs an advice on level design. Pretty talented dude but trash mob grinds like that are horrendous.
True. 5 challenging enemies plus one really interesting boss would have made all the difference. I just bring multiple followers in and have them slaughter the falmer for me while I sip coffee and watch the carnage. XD
reychop_EXE the mod was focused more on the city and prolly not the “fun” of grinding to the top
@@kingsgambit2519 Yeah I get that. But having installed most of the castle mods, house mods, etc. out there, I realized that structures alone doesn't really make a mod fun. Maybe the first hour, you'll have fun but beyond that, it just became another decoration you'll rarely visit. I would prefer more npcs you can interact it. I don't even care if it's not from the same author, just an expansion or addon that makes the town relevant to the whole game, not just a pretty decoration I won't go to again. I wish it worked more like the Heljarchen farm or Windstad mine where at least you can add more NPCs to make it feel more alive.
@@kingsgambit2519 His build your noble house had the same problem. Too little npcs. Makes the area too dull. It doesn't help that except for his feudal keep mod, most of the mods are away from the main roads and away from the places that the main quests take you to.

I would actually like to see a "full remodel" of Skyrim, where everything is upgrades to LC's standard. It's just gorgeous work - too gorgeous, in my opinion. I'm currently using the LC_Noble House mod not as a mere thane of Falkreath, but as the "southern palace and environs" of a High King playthrough, to be EARNED and built from scratch as a victory goal.

Considering you are THE dragonborn, the dyi woodland shacks you can build with hearthfire feel underwhelming.. A mod like this would certainly make up, imagine after saving the world being granted an honorary title and a forgotten shire somewhere. Building a castle, a fletcher, blacksmith, iron mine and so on... eventually becoming lord commander. It would make sense after all the battle experience and political interference the dragonborn would become a military leader of sorts... a shogun to the high king, in the Falkreath area, or in the mountains Windhelm
It's a good example of why professional studios divide work - one guy does level design, another quest design, another testing, etc. Don't get me wrong - this guy should be applauded for all the work he put into the mod, and English may not be his first language. And let's face it - the design work here is fantastic... these places are beautiful.
What happend to "Build Your Town" mod, I was enjoying that.
I mean, I know it was like 4-5 years ago, but still PLEASE bring it back.
Mod author never finished it, the last time I covered it was the last time it was ever updated.

You can somewhat replicate Build your Town through build your own noble house also by locaster, Most of his mods feel empty though. I would really love it more if he adds more npcs and other things to do at the end. I also don't like the locations because they;re far away from my base which is whiterun. Make no mistake, I have all his house mods installed, I just don't feel like I visit them often than I like to.

If you still play that ivarstead mod, just type "help, skull of savage" and use the player.additem that's all I literally did in that quest. In Citadel, you can skip it entirely and just add the key or unlock the door

I personnaly loved the part with the 96 falmers as my thunderstorm mage (using apocalypse mod and ordinator perk mod and the compatibility patch), using unbound storm, zapping like there is no tomorrows. Really fun. Will replay that section for the mass slaughter

I definitely think that the catacombs expected a group of followers.
If your character wasn't strong enough to do it alone you were expected to leave and prepare a small army.
Lol, those Gates should be going from the Tower downwards, not opening from the ground up?....
A little tip for anyone struggling with the area, use something like aft and eff, bring 5 followers, sit in the area, aggro the falmer then get a cup of coffee. Finish that and you'll companions will kill most of them. Mop up the rest, then proceed. Repeat, get some tea and voila! I really hope this quest could have been better designed. The design have so much potential.

Im on PC but I only use console mods. I don't use third party mods like Nexus for the sake of not getting a computer virus. It also just keeps things simple

how great it is to be going back on my old subscriptions like you Zero Period Productions because i had my phone got broke... just got me reminiscing back in the days i watched so many videos of yours like making your own settlement like twice of those topic videos where the first would be a dwemer city mod that is on a top of a mountain... the second settlement would be the burnt town in the middle of a forest with a shop remaining in there. Then i watched the cooking when you got your skyrim cookbook. I really do like how you put up and make your contents, i just hope sometime when i make a video suggestion you do it *just hoping*. Keep up the great work buddy.

Ahh, skyrims oh-so-NOT-annoying glitch where it just teleports whatever you killed however long ago WITH you whenever you fast travel ANYWHERE.
Ive lost count of how many dragon skeletons just fall from the sky on top of the blue palace XD
There is a mod called "No More Dragon Stalking", which solves that issue.

Thanks George :) 48 feral Falmer in the first combat? I think I may need to play this! My only question is what happens to Drelas' Cottage? From what I can see it looks like the author dropped a stone wall on top of it! Not that I give two sh*ts about Drelas. He always attacks then dies too easily. But, his house can be a radiant quest site.

This kinda reminds me a bit of those Orokin Sabotage Missions in Warframe where you had to find the portal, go through it, find and kill the boss on the other side of it and then retrieve the key to reverse the polarity of the portal rendering it useless.
The temple had a spell book of strangulation in it. That's kind of funny. lol

I’m looking back on this and can’t the fact that you are receiving noble clothes every time you leave the bath allow you to sell them for what’s the equivalent of infinite money
It would be awesome if you did a modded Vampire play through with Sacrosanct or better vampires and better vampires npcs, with LC_Build Your Noble House, The great forest of whiterun hold and also some of MihailMods collection this included with the populated skyrim mods, plus what ever you want to add. This would really change the outlook of the game.

I like the quest updates.
Also the large amount falmer is realistic to what may actually be living in a massive castle like that.

It might be better if you could lose renown. Stealing or embezzlement being actions you could commit if you felt greedy, those being discovered would lower your fame.
Say, if you had the rank of Lord Commander, but you've lost your popularity, you would get attacked by rebels or something, or demoted back to peasant, or banished.

TheUltimateLemonGuy I don’t think the term is exclusive to ships, I think any time soldiers go against their officers it’s a mutiny. I don’t think rebellion is wrong either though.

TheUltimateLemonGuy well my original comment was referencing Game of Thrones, when the Men of the Night’s Watch had a “mutiny” (the term they used) against the Lord Commander at Craster’s Keep. Mutiny seems more appropriate anyways, since a rebellion suggest more of a war against those in power and a mutiny suggest a small isolated incident- just like mutinies involving sailors stranded out at sea, the starving men stuck in the woods beyond the wall overthrew their lord commander not because they had a problem with his authority or because they wanted to establish a new order but because they were cold, starving and wanted to survive.

Hi, George! I have a mod suggestion for the next Skyrim Saturday Extravaganza!
I'm sure you already have something for this and possibly the next few Skyrim Saturdays, so this can be for the future: The Republic of Maslea!
It's a French mod, that's actually pretty well done. Last time I tried the mod was months ago, and back then it was very buggy, mostly LOD problems in its worldspace, but they just recently released an update and everything seems much better in terms of it not crashing so far! Which obviously is great!
Now the only catch is: it isn't fully voice acted, the main characters are, but not the side characters (nor is the villian, disappointingly), and all the voices are in fact French since it's a French mod, so that can be problematic, especially since you previously said you didn't want to do Unslaad quite yet because only the 1st act of that mod was voice acted, while the second one wasn't.
Do it if you want, don't if you don't want, but I do hope you'll keep this one in mind in the future! :)
When MXRmods has no more content so you have to obtain your Skyrim mods elsewhere :( ZPP has quality content though, could use the words "Immersive af" more often though.

@@michellegomez5602 ik its unfortunate, but if you want a good skyrim experience I have to recommend getting a pc and trying it out there.
The location was really well designed, but the basic mechanics and the lack of actual achievement (I don´t play Skyrim to get a nice house...) are somewhat meh...
A quest mod with this as a setting could be really awesome though!!!
Agreed. I like his mods but most of them feels empty with nothing to do in them. Some quest give here and there would be perfect. I miss his Jarl of Ivarstead. I actually use that as a base in every play through. Install pinemist beside ivarstead and you have the beginnings of an Empire in the rift. Good times.
