Yeah! Most of castle mods are mega-huge but with little NPCs, OR a lot of NPCs but none of them have special dialogue, making those mods feels cold and empty. Not to mention the all-stone structure on many of them...
The castle interior is absolutely gorgeous. Many similar homes of the same calibre (such as the Whiterun Estate) seem to go overboard with having empty space with everything pushed to the sides, making it feel rather frigid and lonely despite how lavish it may be, but Fellburg strikes a very nice balance between spaciousness and clutter/detail.
Just been playing this mod recently as it caught my eye and it is awesome every time I go back to this game it just impressed me how truly amazing the mod community is for this game and even after all these years they make you want to play it for another few hundred hours.
beautifully done mod the only thing that bugs me is that some of the furniture and objects in the castle itself look a little out of place considering the medieval theme that the elder scrolls have; for example those leather chairs looked very out of place since their style is very modern
Yeah, I've found this to be somewhat common in a lot of house mods. A lot of what's in it will make sense for Skyrim overall, but then there'll be a few things that stand out a bit and don't necessarily fit into the game.

I made it my official home, in that I park the kids with Erik the Slayer, Ilya, and Serana as stewards/babysitters/educators and take one out as my follower in turns. My real home is a one-person hidden cabin, that holds all my smithing and alchemy stuff, cooking supplies (playing with ineed), and so on. Don't want anybody else messing with my stuff (looking at you, Serana!).
This is such an awesome mod… My biggest issues with this one and many others like it is that we play and attempt to set up our Skyrim to be as immersive as possible… When a Moder uses Static decorations, it just ruins that for me…! It drives me nuts that I can see all of these things yet I cannot interact with them… I thank each and every Moder out there for all of their long and hard work so please don’t get me wrong here. It’s you people who continue to make us real players want to play it over and over, you keep the game alive for us players…!
I like mods of this type, and I'm glad to see Bethesda borrowed the idea for AE, but I don't use AE so I have my old favorites I use every game. Heliarchen Farm, Winstad Mine, Blackthorn, Helgen Reborn, and I also used to use Silverstead but I despise the Reach. My full castle is Skystone Castle in Whiterun. Then I have a small and cozy hunting cabin Meadows Cottage, which sits between Whiterun and Morthal. I have my north beach home between Dawnstar and Windstad Manor, The Northern Star Retreat. Outside of the walls of Morthal I have Morthal Home, (by walls I mean those added by ClefJ's Morthal overhaul). Outside of Riften I have a nice place Lakeside Riften Manor. Then just outside of Solitude I use Silian Manor. Then between Riften and Kynesgrove I have Knights Rest, a nice Keep. Then just outside of Ivarstad I have Autumngate. Of course there's a sizeable Manor in Blackthorn Village. Then I have my tower home in Helgen from Helgen Reborn. Plus the two homes (three including the Arch Mages suite) from Winterhold Restored. I'm such a busy guy, I need all the places to drop off resources, smelt items for ingots, build/upgrade armors it's a wonder I have time to keep all my mistress's happy ..lol. Plus all the in-city homess Breezehome, Honeyside, Proudspire etc. Skyrim IS MINE!
It’d be cool if you could make your own city, and maybe eventually your own hold that changes the world and everything, and npcs have dialog about it, and npcs and guards come live there and yarl’s have new dialog and maybe quests and wars or something, since you are gonna have to take some land from some of them. It would be super interesting actually owning and running and maintaining/protecting your own hold. It would make the end game a lot more enjoyable. If any of you are mod makers, please steal my idea
So, I know this video is kind of old, But I should mention that some buildings actually supply him with stuff free of charge to the "Barrel of Fellburg Material" (I got this small list from the mod page itself) Iron Mine / Produces iron ore, and 400 in gold. Clay Mine / Produces 20 Clay daily, and 200 in gold. Lumberjack house / Produces 20 of firewood, and 50 in gold. (requires wooden walls and full guard towers to be built.) Apiary / Produces 10 of honey, and 50 in gold Farm / Produces 10 straw, 10 potato, 10 cabbage, 10 flour and 200 in gold. (requires wooden walls and full guard towers to be built) Blacksmith / Produces 15 iron fittings, 15 Nails, 200 gold. (requires wooden walls and full guard towers to be built) Trader / Produces 300 in gold. Temple / Produces 120 in gold. Carpentry / Produces 2 Lock, 2 Hinge, 2 Glass, 100 in gold. Hunter House / Produces 10 Venison, 10 Leather, 15 Leather Strips, 150 Gold. Temple: You CAN change which god is worshipped at your Temple, I've got mine set to Zenithar, as I have "Wintersun (Mod Page Copy/Paste Complete) Religions Of Skyrim" installed, and my character worships Zenithar. Blacksmith: There is also a Chest that has the armour and shield. Falklreath Hold as a Whole: there are barrels hidden in bandit camps, and other notable places labelled "Fellburg Build Materials" and will have various materials that will help you in constructing the small town of Fellburg. I hope you all enjoy the mod! I don't know if he didn't find it, or if he left it out on purpose, but there is a secret door behind the closet doors by your personal bathing area, goes to a small area with 3 mannequins, and a chest, and another door that leads to a helical stairway going down. At the bottom of those stairs you pull the chain and there's a large open area where you can store your Daedric Artefacts, Gold, and other various things. There is a Safe that says in caps "PUT ALL YOUR MONEY HERE!" type thing, if you do, it dynamically adds gold statues, bullion, Coins and things around depending on how much gold you've put in the safe. The room is large, so I'm going to guess that you could stash a Huge Dragon's Hoard of gold easily down there! There is one part of the mod that I dislike, Locaster adds a book that he's written...it's way too preachy for my liking, and I just disable it whenever I come across it. The book is found in the study room off the Main dining hall in the study on the table, and one more in that hidden room at the bottom of the stairs in a chest named "THE REAL TREASURE", which seems VERY self centred and preachy to me. Apart from the two books, which I console command into the void: I love this mod. My Nord Imperial Soldier character is currently building it up herself.
I really enjoy the simplicity of it, and yes I don't like it to be grandiose. It starts off looking like a makeshift war camp and ends up looking nice and livable but not some giant stone mansion with towers and what-not. Really cool. Definitely fits into Skyrim, I might redownload just to play this.
We have one in the works that unfortunately is going to take several months to film. We're alsk having some trouble with finding a good kitchen to film in but we're working on it!

Are you being sarcastic?
I think so, cuz of the smile face at the end
Yeah...
Groot 561
Yes, I am being sarcastic.
If you don’t know what hearth*fire* is then just look it up, you don’t have to complain about not knowing shit
Build the carpenter as soon as possible. He's the one who will have locks, hinges, and all other building materials.
The Adventures of Zarkaedi and the town Courier
Reminds me of Bloodmoon, except this seems to really outdo that questline detail-wise.
Guard armor looks good too. Looks realistic.
Not enough NPC to liven up your hold. Add some maid, cook or something.
To the Dev.
Just been playing this mod recently as it caught my eye and it is awesome every time I go back to this game it just impressed me how truly amazing the mod community is for this game and even after all these years they make you want to play it for another few hundred hours.
that intro and end music is epic
My dragonborn did become emperor after sacking Cyrodil with a army of dragons
keller blair I doubt the imperial council would see it that way
Skyrim creators: but we gave you hearthfire dlc
Fan: not good enough
YES THANK YOU, i used this mod a few years back and couldnt find it again! YES! def my favorite mod!
beautifully done mod
the only thing that bugs me is that some of the furniture and objects in the castle itself look a little out of place considering the medieval theme that the elder scrolls have; for example those leather chairs looked very out of place since their style is very modern
Yeah, I've found this to be somewhat common in a lot of house mods. A lot of what's in it will make sense for Skyrim overall, but then there'll be a few things that stand out a bit and don't necessarily fit into the game.
Should make this a series
Mods like these are why I have 2000 plus hours in Skyrim.
I like how whenever I look for mods it’s stuff like new races and crap like that, but then you come around the corner and say
“Hold my mutton.”
there is a mod called Earings of unburden. get that and you won't have to worry about the carry weight as long as you have the earings equiped.
(READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING) this mod is nice but TRUST ME there is a good chance it will break causing ALOT of CTD. It was sad to delete it but took ages to safely move all my items out of the the house when i noticed all the crashes. It tends to happens torwards built completion. Id recommend trying it out but keep important gear somewhere else .You have been warned lol
I’ve never crashed from this mod are you using a potato or something
Riley C Nah lol I got a pretty decent setup for about a grand last year, there’s just a lot of bad compatibility and good chances the mod can bug out
Did you know that this jarl house have secret storage room, Just go upstairs go to your bedroom and then open a suspicious wardrobe, it will lead you to a secret treasure room
This Mod Is Amazing
that courier travelled for days to get to you, let him rest and make you dinner.
I want this so bad, not because I want to have a fancy house, but I just want some place where I can display my plethora of unique armors and weapons.
Ciderr This is what you want: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11802? Legacy of the Dragonborn has a place for absolutely everything.
"Up on the hill, looking down on them."
As you should be!
I hope one day this mod could make it to the PlayStation. I'm not going to hold my breath though.
Yes! Something from the Skyrim community I've been looking for! 💖
This mod combined with the live anywhere mod (build shacks) making a whole village and/or kingdom. XD and having all your companions there with you and your adopted children. Hopefully that will work.
"I though it said strawberries"
Skyrim: *I HAVE NO SUCH WEAKNESSES*
I swear if they dont put this on xbox one i will go insane. I aint lying. I been trying to get a mod like this ever since special edition came out.
Its on special edition for pc and doesnt require SKSE so it is indeed posible
Chris' Channel thank you but i hope it will be soon.
Fallen Spartan
Try tel nalta, it lets you build ur own telvanni settlement in the middle of lake illynata (the lake by riverwood) it’s a very nice mod , comes with npcs , new recoloration for telvanni robes , new spells. You jus need a shit ton of mushrooms to build the houses tho 💀😂
This mod might be too big.
@@RoxyLuffer Too big? Beyond Bruma is on the Xbox one!
Love the heraldry
I wish this was on the Xbox one mods list I know so many of my friends who play would love this beside myself it just adds so much more to the game
I'm so happy you are making videos still!
You might have missed something important, check the wardrobes in the bedroom area ;)
After finishing the house, i can no longer go near that cursed hold without having my pc achieve liftoff
10:35 It's like that TH-cam video where a cat meows and just as he does a car horn blocks it out so it sounds like the cat made the noise.
That's a pretty cool Nifty, mob.
I have this mod, and I love it. There are npcs there that buy and sell. You have you're own anvil so no arguing with the blacksmith. It is so worth it. I use this as my main base. Highly recommended.
This is such an awesome mod…
My biggest issues with this one and
many others like it is that we play and
attempt to set up our Skyrim to be as
immersive as possible…
When a Moder uses Static decorations,
it just ruins that for me…!
It drives me nuts that I can see all of these
things yet I cannot interact with them…
I thank each and every Moder out there for
all of their long and hard work so please don’t
get me wrong here.
It’s you people who continue to make us real players
want to play it over and over, you keep the game alive
for us players…!
Always expect an attack and you will never be taken by surprise
I haven’t seen this guy in a while. Nostalgia.
Thank you for bringing this mod to my attention and for making the video!
you missed the treasure room hidden in the bed room
the thing with the courier actually happened to me but with a letter to go to my children. he stayed for ages.
This is amazing. Thank you for showcasing
I downloaded it . will be trying it later this night - i am eager to see all of the things this mod provides !
That would literally take weeks
Michael that’s actually good news, I thought it’d take years
I suggest just facing the dragon skull head forward on your bander or schedule but keep the sword going straight through the head
The banner was my deciding factor. I didn't want a Christmas village lol
So, I know this video is kind of old, But I should mention that some buildings actually supply him with stuff free of charge to the "Barrel of Fellburg Material"
(I got this small list from the mod page itself)
Iron Mine / Produces iron ore, and 400 in gold.
Clay Mine / Produces 20 Clay daily, and 200 in gold.
Lumberjack house / Produces 20 of firewood, and 50 in gold. (requires wooden walls and full guard towers to be built.)
Apiary / Produces 10 of honey, and 50 in gold
Farm / Produces 10 straw, 10 potato, 10 cabbage, 10 flour and 200 in gold. (requires wooden walls and full guard towers to be built)
Blacksmith / Produces 15 iron fittings, 15 Nails, 200 gold. (requires wooden walls and full guard towers to be built)
Trader / Produces 300 in gold.
Temple / Produces 120 in gold.
Carpentry / Produces 2 Lock, 2 Hinge, 2 Glass, 100 in gold.
Hunter House / Produces 10 Venison, 10 Leather, 15 Leather Strips, 150 Gold. Temple: You CAN change which god is worshipped at your Temple, I've got mine set to Zenithar, as I have "Wintersun
(Mod Page Copy/Paste Complete)
Religions Of Skyrim" installed, and my character worships Zenithar.
The Banners of this mod be like: BROTHER HOW DID YOU KNOW I'M ALBANIAN!
Yay, a new video! Can we have Skyrim Kitchen back soon?
We have one in the works that unfortunately is going to take several months to film. We're alsk having some trouble with finding a good kitchen to film in but we're working on it!
Astrid left the brotherhood and went to serve the divines
I wish there was a mod to actually have a child with your wife. And they go from a baby to a child, to adolescent, then finally a adult.
Love it and I’ve barely began watching it
"I think this a much needed, relaxing vid--" ADVERTISEMENT "--eo."
lmao, i just want to build a village/town for my pouses to live in
I'm sry but I haven't watched any vids in a long time but I stayed subbed and I'm back
OctoPie56 same
Same.
Missed alot of quality content!
Welcome back!
@@0periodproductions do u have any good mod suggestions for xbox one skyrim
Wish you had more freedom in Skyrim like being able to become high king by process of elimination
You missed the treasury it is found behind a false cabinet next to the bath in the noble bed room
That sigil really isn't too bad. Not very sophisticated but it doesn't look out of place among all the other simple sigils in Skyrim.
Having the mannequins randomly move (after you dress them in armour) is creepy ... just don't blink
You should try the ck 2 elder scrolls mod and use sigil and become high king of Skyrim
Now you just need to be able to attack other houses and take those soldiers with you and siege other houses.
every RPG game should have such player home concept after the player finishes the main quest at least, i've seen one in Kingdoms of Amalur.
because yeah, every hero needs to take care of his life after restlessly taking care of the world lol
you going on about how reflective the guard helmet is yet not commenting on the RAINBOW AURORA SUNSET.
Coolest mod ever.... Is that a painting from witcher 3 in the inn? dodgy stairs, and then immediately the awesome bathroom... This is so much cooler then hearthfire
