Hi Ellie, what a wonderful and informative video! My boyfriend and I plan to have a day trip to Lancaster, we are a tourist from Singapore, so we do not drive, what are your recommendations for transport to tour around the place that you've mentioned in the video?
Hi there 😄 how exciting for you 2 to be coming to Lancaster from so far away! To best answer your question I have a couple of questions for you :) First, how are you arriving in Lancaster ? Are you flying into Philadelphia or Harrisburg or arriving another way? Another question is budget. A great idea for someone who doesn’t drive is to stay somewhere where you can walk to many places. So the towns of Bird-in-Hand and also Intercourse have some great lodging and shopping and markets and food all within walking distance. But you can’t walk to all these places so then I would say Uber or Lyft but I need to check on that. There are drivers in Lancaster who drive the Amish around as a side job. I have eaten dinners, restaurant many times love that restaurant. I miss it very much because I moved to Kentucky to help my daughter and then I move back to Lebanon Pennsylvania and now I don’t get out very much
Lancaster is definitely much more than Amish offerings. It is an amazing place with so many long standing family owned businesses- both with Amish or Mennonite backgrounds or “English” history. But in this video, there is about 4+ hours with my Amish favorites/friends and then another 2+ total time of driving around beautiful Amish country from place to place. So I wouldn’t say 90% - it’s pretty split at 50/50. Which is an about how it really is in Lancaster County. Sooooo much to do!

Thanks for subscribing! 😊👍 I’m sorry, but who is Linda?
Very easy,,,,,,,,Sight and Sound Theaters.
@@reternity777 it IS truly amazing! Tho I’m not thrilled about how they have upped their prices so much over the past 5 years or so. But I do love it!
You did a good job making this video but you forgot 1 important item that you can do in Lancaster county is the amesument park Dutch Berry farm amusement park in Lancaster county check it plus go to most quiet places they videos all about Dutch Berry farm amusement park okay.
@@ChristopherWright-bk2nw thanks 😊 Do you mean Dutch Wonderland??!! I have done some early videos on them and I LOVE Dutch Wonderland! It is the BEST family friendly amusement park ever! However, I would not have time to fit it in my “One Amazing Day” in Lancaster. If I go to Dutch Wonderland, I’m going to want to be there practically all day and then I’d be so tired from all the excitement I would just go crash at the hotel 🤣😂👍 maybe fit a dinner in first 😅. Thanks for watching and your comment 😊
@@ElleLiving your welcome yes that's what I meant Dutch wonderland I always get the 2 amesument Parks mixed up there is other 1 in California too. Go to TH-cam and look up California amesument Parks and you will find the 1 that I was talking about. I hope that next year I can go to Lancaster county for putt putt golf ⛳, good delicious ice cream, check out the train station the train ride, and then wounder land too. Have a good day and have fun filming too and looking forward to your videos too. You and quiet places to check out. You both show wants to do other ones just keep on talking and don't show to much and mostly you see them talking and nothing else which is frustrating and way keep up the good and excellent work 👍👏🏆
@ all good! I do know what you’re talking about in CA. My husband has family out there and he’s been to Knott’s Berry Farm but I have yet you be there - I love amusement parks! So hopefully I’ll get there someday :)
Have a great weekend and I hope you get to go to Lancaster next year too!! 😊👍
@@ElleLiving yes that's the 1 I am talking about Knott's Berry farm see what I mean I get this amesument park mixed with Dutch wonderland

Are used to always seven as much time as I could in Lancaster Pennsylvania fish me up in the Strasburg bird in the hand intercourse, Pennsylvania. I miss it very much because I moved to Kentucky to help my daughter and then I move back to Lebanon Pennsylvania and now I don’t get out very much
Glad u have such great memories. So sorry u don’t get to go out much. Hope the videos bring you some smiles 😊👍
How far was that Dienners from your motel
Less than 15 minutes 👍👍
Do they charge to visit the farms mentioned?
Yes to do a tour there is a fee 👍 the tours range in prices and are cheaper for kids but they are around $20
This video is 90% no Amish
Lancaster is definitely much more than Amish offerings. It is an amazing place with so many long standing family owned businesses- both with Amish or Mennonite backgrounds or “English” history. But in this video, there is about 4+ hours with my Amish favorites/friends and then another 2+ total time of driving around beautiful Amish country from place to place. So I wouldn’t say 90% - it’s pretty split at 50/50. Which is an about how it really is in Lancaster County. Sooooo much to do!
Tourist traps
Are these people a cult?
@@WayneMarkley no. They believe in the God of the Bible. They are very conservative in their way of life. Cults usually follow a person and involve fanatical or sinister practices.
@ElleLiving thank you
