All very pretty but it's always sports and recreational bikes featured in these videos. I own a Merida crossway 10 for several years and for me, my bike is an all round commuting, shopping, utilitarian car alternative workhorse. In this time where there is globally more efforts being made to encourage active travel using bicycles, I want to see a practical bike with ready made space for plenty of bags and large baskets and containers. Not an outright cargo bike but a well thought out strong all round workhorse that also has excellent gearing for hills and travelling fast as a commuter. I know roadies and mtb'ers spend the big bucks and have to be pandered to by the industry and have their egos constantly inflated. But there are millions of people looking for those hard working reliable all round workhorse bikes too. They are just never going to spend thousands on minor upgrades or a frame that's less than half a kilo lighter.
Taiwan is a place known for producing high-quality bicycles, and Merida is one of the essential brands!
