I picked mine up for about $140 on sale, definitely had put my expectations very high on a drone. But like you said, I looked at others that were hundreds more. I've been really happy with it overall!

I bought an Autel Evo, I ordered this on to see how they would compare, cheap vs. expensive. There is no comparsion. The Evo is alot more stable at a hover. This drone moves all over the place. I guess for the money its not to bad though.
Holy stone has a model up from that one. It's a Bugs 4w clone. The only place I've seen it is on Ebay. There's not even a video on it done in the states. It's the HS550. They don't show it on the Holy Stone website.
Excellent video excellent footage I was considering getting this but at 1st I was looking at the snaptain SP510 I wonder if they are identical in performance also I wanted to ask how was the altitude On the holy stone I've never owned a drone but I don't want to get a cheap one that might turn me off from the hobby also I don't want to spend a fortune And wreck the thing I just wanted a good in between the best of both worlds if you will I'm curious what you think would it be a good Beginner drone or would I get tired of it once I learned how to fly it good to tell you the truth I don't know what to do . lol
Drone footage of the life lesson was awesome. Hopefully in the future brother will be there to save the day if she learns the other life lesson, which is to not kick your brother if he brings a spare gallon of gas!
For the price, a steal! But I wouldn't trade my Mavic 2 Zoom for it... ;) The remote looks a lot like the one for the Mavic, btw. The dog was just helping you: no one can RTFM you! ;) (Well, you could probably download a pdf...) And let's face it Ryan, girls always get helped when they are stranded.

No it doesn’t sense the trees or other objects. It would attempt to gain altitude straight up and then return. If the straight up maneuver had a tree branch in the path it would crash
Bugs 4 w is much better drone at the same price range. An a much better drone. An if you don't have to have a Foldable drone the Hubsan h501s advance. Comes with the best controler ever with built in fpv display at 180 on Amazon or eBay. Both drones are much better an brushless.
Can you adjust the camera gimbal while in flight? I just bought one and have not flown it yet, but I don’t see in the instructions if the camera can be adjusted up and down, right and left, or zoom in and out while in flight.
Late into the party but your review is really nice and funny! I'm getting this and this will be my 1st drone. Do you know if this avoids obstructions? Like if I have him follow me on trails? Also that neighborhood is very nice. I like the huge spaces around the houses. I'm in shitty NYC :(

Holystone website does not have one listed. I have seen some batteries on Ebay listed for this drone but they are not quite the same, having 6 connectors and different sides ( cutaway). My battery has 2 wide slots and the drone has 2 wide pins. maybe 1/4 inch
This drone seem to be produced by a third party and rebranded. Holy Stone HS270 looks like spitting image of Snaptain SP510 and controllers are exactly the same, but oh my, size of HS270 dwarfs Snaptain sp510. The thing is gargantual version of snaptain sp510.
Do you think this guy could lift a GoPro/Action cam into the air? I was thinking of just getting one of these guys, and having it airlift an insta360 One R into the air.
I don’t think this model would be good for that due to the extra weight. Motors are good enough to keep it stable as-is but I believe the extra camera would put this drone into a very unstable state.
I love how u justify not getting up to her yer dauther with her RC by bringing up a learning process LOL I do it all the time I've started to believe that's actually the reason at this point. BTW this drone is trash a complete dumpster 🔥 not sure if u have Learned that yet but a drone for over 150 without brushless motors is 100% not worth it. I can't believe they were selling this to people for over 250 why would people buy this one before the hs 720 they no comparison and u can get the 720 with 3 batteries for like 200 bucks? Crazy, not holy stones greatest moment. This was a cash grab its probably took 20$ to make this pile of garb

i got a HS 110D , HS 110G its GPS , and the HS 165 it’s also GPS the two gps have those features too i paid 130 for the 165

I think it’s a great beginner and intermediate drone.
Parts for this drone other than rotors are non-existent. The company is not offering any support. Otherwise, it was a nice drone.
