Nice guide! I'll lay out my Daybreak strategy here. It's a semi beginners guide, if you're just starting out it'll get you to at the very least wave 5. Otherwise, you'll complete it solo no problem; Setup- Choose the CLEO shotgun or the Blast Rifle (beginners choose the Wolverine shotgun), whatever melee weapon and Deployable Minefields (beginners choose what's available). Grab everything from the storage chests and place them outside in neat separate piles (place bandages near the technician and repair kits at the sign near the barricades after you've repaired it). Equip the Wolverine shotgun, and have the Stormbringer in your first pocket slot (for quick swapping). Fill inventory up with shotgun shells. Oh yeah, make sure at least one AI has a Hordebreaker. Otherwise it'll be a bit tougher. Wave 1- Try to use melee as much as you can (shotgun the feral though). Go easy on the shotgun rounds, we'll be using it until wave 4. Pre wave 2- I doubt anything bad happened unless you were afk, so just make sure your piles are easy to grab from. Also, ditch your melee weapon. We need quick executions for armoured zeds. Wave 2- Blast zeds with your shotgun, quick execute armoured zeds (use flying strike to knock them down). Easy round. Pre wave 3- Empty out your inventory and grab CLEO Drops. Ignore the bandages and snacks, they just take up valuable space. Just grab the ammos and fire bombs. Make sure all walls are repaired, have your Wolverine shotgun equipped and the Stormbringer in your first pocket slot, and fill your inventory up with shotgun shells and 7.62 ammo. Wave 3- Same as wave 2, except a juggernaut will show up. Blast him with your Stormbringer, then mop up the rest of the zeds with your Wolverine shotgun/quick execute. Pre wave 4- Empty inventory, grab CLEO drops. You'll get remote explosives in this one, but we won't be using them yet. Put them in your explosives pile. Wolverine Shotgun and Stormbringer once more, fill up with ammo. Wave 4- Blast the zombies, execute armoured zeds. Stormbringer the first juggernaut, then the same for the second one. Mop up the rest with your Wolverine and executions. Per wave 5- Empty inventory, grab CLEO drops. We just need the ammos and repair kits (beginners might as well grab a pistol, you'll run out of ammo for the other weapons soon). Wolverine shotgun again and you should have enough rounds for at least 1 juggernaut for your Stormbringer. Equip your remote grenades, we'll need them. If you brought in Landmines, deploy them in the center and right side zombie spawn areas (facing towards the city). Wave 5- If you've been conservative with your ammo, you'll have just enough shotgun rounds for this (I ended wave 5 with around 15 shells left). Do the same as all the other rounds, except when the first juggernaut shows up activate your landmines. This'll give you some breathing room while you deal with him. If you have no landmines, keep shooting zombies until the juggernaut comes to you. It'll take 4 remote grenades to take him down OR use your Stormbringer to stun him a few times and then just use 1 remote grenade to kill him OR just dump your entire Stormbringer rounds into him. Whatever you feel will bring him down fast because we can't spend too much time on him. Back to blasting zeds. 2nd juggernaut will show up, deal with him as you did the 1st one. Mop up the rest of the zeds. If you're a beginner and you made it this far in Daybreak, holy shit you did good. Wave 6 will kick your ass though because you don't have a decent gun just yet. Just make it as far as you can. Pre wave 6- Dump inventory, CLEO drops. The landmines are the most important here. Set them up, 3 outside at each zombie spawn point and put the last one inside the walls near the technician. Now we can use the CLEO Shotgun. We should have a million ammos for it saved up so go fuckin' nuts. Remote grenades in case your mines don't injure the juggernauts that much. Wave 6- CLEO shotgun all the zombies, including armoured ones (pops their heads real good). When the first juggernaut shows up, activate the landmines, same as wave 5 if you used them. CLEO shotgun him to death. Just basically CLEO shotgun everything this wave. Use your remote grenades if you get in a pinch. Pre wave 7- CLEO drops will have 2 more landmines for you to use. There's also a CLEO shotgun and a Blast Rifle if you're a beginner who made it up to this point. Set up the landmines at center and right hand side spawns. Repair walls, pray to god etc etc. Wave 7- Activate the land mines right away, deal with the juggernauts as they come through. If you have the CLEO shotgun, this will be the easiest wave. You should also have a bunch of remote grenades left as well, so use them. And done. Again, semi beginner guide. You absolutely won't make it to round 7 if you're just starting out, you need to unlock some better gear first. but once you unlock that CLEO Shotgun, you'll be golden. As for veterans, feel free to leave tips to make Daybreak a little easier or take what i've written here and use it in your own game.
mine was so simular i cant advise diffrently. all i can say is i prefer taking the cleo blast rifle and picking up the shotgun from the chest. dropping to the assault rifle till out ov starting ammo for funsies adn hope you didnt turn on multiplayer by accident so you can blast with the rifle for multi kills or drop at least one jugg to thier knees out in hte field once making the npcs able to finish off letting you relax and pretend you are a sniper.
The 2 npc with hoard breakers really is a must for new players. Just started doing daybreaks and the furthest I’ve ever gotten was when they both had the gun
I used the RTX wolverine and the CLEO Blast Rifle for Juggernauts. Worked like a charm for me about 8/10 times. Sometimes I think luck plays a role depending how active the NPCs are even with Hordebreakers.
Your totally right, if it was another TH-camr they'd take at least 20 to 28 minutes to give us all this information and probably give us less than that and rant more than they give good information
So, I’d like to take daybreak to next level also- it’s insane!! So fun. I only played community for awhile in this game, just started on daybreak, and have reasonable success for a noob. 3x got to 4th wave, 1nce to wave 5. Didn’t watch any content before, just dove in. There’s so much to remember, I’ll admit That I’m having a hard time with the setups, weapon transition. And quick kill. Plus I’m a soloist, I’d love to find friends to play this game with:( . ive learn from this and yeah after lots of 2-3x tried per day this morning the day has come i made it i finished it solo my npc is using 1 shot gun 1 horde breaker i use also grenades on wave 4 and i must say finishing this is very fulfilling i even stand up on my chair and raise my arms saying wooooah we won eventhough i dont have audience hahaha
I put the remote grenades along the wall so I can detonate them before they get through. Nothing like seeing every wall about to give and then Boom that juggernaut seems a lot more manageable.

Ive sadly joined into daybreak sq. full of cheaters, and I didnt understand that until i saw that bunch of plague juggers (20+) behind unbreakable wall while guys were shooting them 99k daybreak prestige less than minute... I feel horrible even playing since then (only one thing is good, and its not for too much things in campaign)
am I doing something wrong, I dont have enough time to sort everything at the beginning, the horde automatically starts without me interacting with the main dude. Also, I just can't get enough ammo at the start, there's hardly any in the storage boxes. Have they patched this?
I tried this and have yet to make it past round 5. Idk if they updated it or not, but I seem to have a lot less time in between rounds. I’d don’t have time to set up
You have to practice. They haven't updated it. I run out of time as well at times. Don't panic and keep trying. If anything it's been nerfed since when I made this guide the gun ammo stacks were smaller

I ended up getting to the Cleo shotgun and I only grabbed absolute essentials for the rounds and I’ve been making it to round 7 every time. Thanks for all the great info videos man. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Idk why I'm having so much trouble doing this solo, I try following this guide but keep loosing at the 3rd wave, I always get rushed as soon as I switch my weapons or reload and every time I get get hit I have to waste time trying to get distance and try to do it again but with no luck
just sprint away and reload, if ur about to get hit dodge, make sure u switch weapon quickly and that they always reloaded, first 3 ways are really easy, it starts to get tricky around 5
@@occido idk, im with this dude. I just get swamped with zombies and seems my ai team does jack to help me. I'm running back and forth just trying to keep the walls up and zombies at bay by round 2, at round 3 its complete bullshit and I have like 6 zombies running to me from all sides, even dodging and trying to get away they just are all over me. If my waves looked like this vid I be good, but my level 2 and 3 waves look like this guys level 4.
@@Ryan-re1rs keep practising. I have done many runs and finish it without fail even if I didn't play in months. Its all about using the right stuff at the right time. Don't be afraid to spam that shotgun at enemies on long range even

Just had a daybreak glitch... Joined random daybreak matchmaking, I spawned next to the powered up cleo tower as she "turtled up" and dug into the ground. No one else was present, the players who had beat the waves, or even the programmer. And the game decided to award me 56,000 daybreak points for this feat somehow? I'm not sure wtf's going on, I had around 500 points, I now 57,000 (0_0)

I have problems doing this because of movement. It seems that your character will always attack the none essential attacker at the worst possible time, smh
Is it possible that people can hack or mod in state of decay 2? Played with a guy a while back who had unlimited of those small explosive barrels. he just kept placing them everywhere, all we had to do was shoot them and boom. Didn't report him. Can't blame him either. Daybreak is such a stupid grind.

Very nice video. instructions were perfectly clear. I am glad people enjoy this but I am bored, tired, and irritated just watching you set this up. I thought "Oh, solo, that wont be so toxic" and, it is true, no other people. But all that prep just to flail away at wave after wave of bullet sponges? Nah. None of the RT stuff is worth that tedium.
Played it with 2 of my friends because i thought solo is impossible for me lmao Update, finished my first solo daybreak Was it worth it? No it's better with friends, bit they arent always available
Keep praticing. It's even more nerfed since I made this tutorial. There is more ammo I think or something. Daybreak is still the same but slightly nerfed. Don't feel bad you're not getting it. just keep praticing because it is pretty difficult
What i dont understand about these guides are, is that every single one is like just use the best gear and do this, ok how bout people who HAVE ZERO ACCESS to that lmfao like noobs such as myself? Of course its easy to solo this shit with the best gear lmfao rofl, "oh noob just use the fifty cal belt fed machine gun i know its an extremely late unlock but just use it i dont get why you wont"
You have to go through the ringer some rounds to unlock the certain items mentioned in the video. So until you do that, follow the g uide and when you do unlock the stuff you go from there

Probably late, but i think after unlocking a certain amount you have to beat wave 5 to unlock more.

I just finished the 7 waves because one of the guys that joined dropped multiples guns that had 50000 ammo 😅 it was easy with the grenade launcher

Check your settings after you start a Daybreak game. There should be a Multiplayer tab where you can disable your online session.

Is it possible that people can hack or mod in state of decay 2? Played with a guy a while back who had unlimited of those small explosive barrels. he just kept placing them everywhere, all we had to do was shoot them and boom. Didn't report him. Can't blame him either. Daybreak is such a stupid grind.

How do you use the cleo ammo packs?
They are ammunition for CLEO guns. You can't "use" them directly.

I thought "Oh, solo, that wont be so toxic" and, it is true, no other people. But all that prep just to flail away at wave after wave of bullet sponges? Nah. None of the RT stuff is worth that tedium.

Keep praticing. It's even more nerfed since I made this tutorial. There is more ammo I think or something. Daybreak is still the same but slightly nerfed. Don't feel bad you're not getting it. just keep praticing because it is pretty difficult

You have to go through the ringer some rounds to unlock the certain items mentioned in the video. So until you do that, follow the g uide and when you do unlock the stuff you go from there
