    Lyrics:
Lido missed the boat that day
    He left the shack
But that was all he missed
    And he ain't comin' back
    At a tombstone bar
    In a juke joint car
    He made a stop
    Just long enough
To grab a handle off the top
    Next stop Chi town
    Lido put the money down
    Let 'em roll
He said one more job ought to get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
    One for the road
    Lido
    Whoah oh oh oh
    He's for the money
    He's for the show
    Lido's waitin for the go
    Lido
Whoah oh oh oh oh oh
He said one more job ought to get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
    One more for the road
    Lido will be runnin'
    Havin' great big funnin'
    Till he got the note
Sayin' tow the line or blow it
And that was all he wrote
He'll be makin' like a bee line
    Headin' for the border line
    Goin' for broke
Sayin' one more hit ought to do it
This joint ain't nothin' to it
    One more for the road
    Lido
    Woah oh oh oh
    He's for the money
    He's for the show
    Lido's waitin' for the go
    Lido
Woah oh oh oh oh oh oh
One more job ought to get it
One last shot then we quit it
    One more for the road
    Lido
    Woah oh oh oh
    He's for the money
    He's for the show
Lido's a waitin' for the go
    Lido
Woah oh oh oh oh oh
One more job ought to get it

It’s synonymous with seeing God. Jeff made everyone and everything better and that’s a testament to Joe and also to Jeff’s ability to pretend he’s not the greatest musician in what ever room he was in or what you called humility. My fave thing is that Joe Porcaro interview about Jeff starting out. My God. We are so torn over his passing that we can’t even entertain Jeff sightings in this world. Jeff is the GOAT of music in general and also the drums. Jeff Porcaro 1992. Jeff Buckley 1997. My two Jeffrey’s. Ugh . My two main dudes who would have made music amazing up til now are gone and I blame whoever came up w this Shit to begin with.
I wanted to do a tribute for Jeff as the Porcaro family and my family also have the Dad drummer and 3 musician sons, also Italian and also from the Northeast. Only way I could approach it while maintaining my integrity and also unique I think. Wow I typed a lot . Thanks

No disco here...that's a straight up Purdie shuffle laid down by the late greay Jeff Porcaro!

Scarlet Crusader I thought the name of song was 1 more for the road, good thing I knew some Lyrics, Lido Shuffle. As much as I liked the Music in 70s those stadium concerts were crazy because of very little Security. I blame Partridge Family songs turning me into a Rock n Roll junkie RIP DAVID CASSIDY

This song was so well produced in the studio that not even Boz can recreate it live. Notice how none of the live performances sound anywhere near as good as the original studio recording.

A “who’s who “ of a band : Les Dudeck , the Porcaro Bros. etc.
Many people aren’t aware, but Boz Scaggs was on the “scene” as far back as the late 60’s , and mixed with a lot of famous contemporaries, Duane Allman was actually a very good friend of Boz’s

Boz was an early member of The Steve Miller Band; wasn't Les Dudeck with either The Allman Brothers or Molly Hatchet?

@@JNDGuitarman The Allmans , briefly - seems like I read he didn’t get along with Dickey Betts , not sure - can’t remember exactly.
He banged Cher , haha! - I do know that!
