So great to see a new video !! Really inspiring in many ways! I love the natural beauty of your fishing grounds and admire your skill in managing your gear and kayak. You are one of the channels that motivated me to start kayak fishing, I'm the proud owner of a Hobie PA 12.
I enjoy a lot the way you edit your videos, letting the viewer to be part of your fishing journey including all kind of moments and not deleting most of the details. For example, I liked in this video how you landed on the beach after fishing and how you mount the kayak on the car roof. Also noticed you had pants that can be converted to shorts. Seems practical for my needs. You didn't use the paddle to land on the beach, instead you got off the kayak almost before hitted the sand. I do kayak fishing in Los Cabos, Mexico. Lots of fun and always learning how to improve. This year i'm having new species for me in kayak. A weeks ago had a nice fights with yellow tail. In a couple of months me and some friends will go after YF tuna. And in december will have my first stripped marlin. I'll continue watching more of your videos...tight lines!
Glad to see you again. Your fishing is fine and your videos even better. I think fishing in a kayak in the ocean off of Hawaii is pretty damn gutsy, but then I am old and gray and a dedicated fly fisherwoman. There are no sharks in the Colorado river. Really nice videos and I so appreciate all your hard work Please be safe! Okay ?
Bro. Good fish! Do you catch this in Kailua? I love watching your videos. I started building off a kayak. Hopefully, I can go with you and learn from you. I want to catch fish as well.🤙🌺🌼
of course, the best kk fishing channel.....I observe small hooks compared to the fish size that you can meet. what size are they? and what knot do you make? What appened with your live tank?? finally you prefer the tube...nice bait😅😆
Dan, Dan, Dan: Welcome back to the land of love which might just be Hawaii. Oahu is great, but next time try the secret island which I shall not name. That said, your movies, (They are not just little You Tube videos), are splendid. You really poor some of your heart into these things which essentially means that...you...try your very best. For that I am grateful. Releasing the Crevally and doing so elegantly is something all fisherman should learn out of respect for fish. What are fish? Okay, you might say, "They are something to eat." Very well. That is also true. But have some respect. I mean, Life...God...provides these things which are...let me go spiritual here....are sentient creatures. Let them go if you shall not eat them well and joyously. You dumb bastards! Anyway Dan, you must be surely kinda not liking the Gulf and all of 'that' where which you currently live. But it's not your wife's fault! Oh Dan, oh one who actually thought at one time that Kingfish are as good as Ono, (And they are), but Ono are something special special. You will move back to Hawaii once Mauna Kea allows it. (That's your divine hint as to which island to move back to). But it's never your wife's fault. Oh Dan, hang tough. You did make excellent videos and for that...you get a couple of brownie points but no more. Ha! Go get 'em Tiger! 😀
Yeah concerning the gulf it has not been as fishable as it should be lately concerning the wind and the waves. I would love to fish the deep blue between the Hawaiian islands in the kayak. About to target Blackfin Tuna in the gulf near where they only use snag hooks for landing anything, and they leave any fish as wanton waste they do not want on the land or the pier. Dan is the Man. He is definitely one of the few Original Gangster offshore kayak fishermen.
@@jasonfulton77 Dear Jason, wow. Leaving fish for wanton waste...I would not live there unless forced to by destiny. I respect fishermen and fish. I waste nothing, nor should anyone else. Anyway, thank you for your input. May you be well and continue to do well and....catch some black fin.
@@Mrkellywilliamson I am shopping for other places to live, primarily where the fish are biting year round. The baitfish, a well as prized sportfish are quite abundant in the gulf. The relatively shallow waters are troubled yet are getting better. Nothing goes to waste in my homestead. Respect and Peace!
@@jasonfulton77 Great for you Jason that you get to pick a new place to live. If you like the gulf, a long time friend of mine who fished out of Tampa Bay for years bought a place in Marathon, FL, down in the Keyes. You ought see the fish he catches! Anyway, he loves fishing out in the Keyes. I have never seen such big Amberjack, grouper, and King fish than what he catches down there. Check it out and great luck to you in finding your next place.
