After listening to the many recordings and videos that Angelina Jordan has made, I have earworms that keep me entertained and amazed throughout my day and in my dreams at night. She is destined to be a superstar!
Angelina is a prodigy… a musical genius; a legend. Her voice is both beautiful and powerful… I have to listen to her at least once a day. As far as this performance of this song goes.. I think it is the greatest version ever recorded; and yes, she was only nine at the time. I am so glad I live in the same era as Angelina. After 40+ years as a music educator and jazz musician, I would say to all young singers: Don’t try to sing like Angelina until you know how to do it. Take voice lessons and learn everything you can about vocal technique and artistic styling. If you try to do what she does before you know what you are doing, you could severely damage your voice and may never be able to sing again. Angelina has a gift that very, very few people in history have ever had. All of her physical vocal abilities and sense of musical style came with her at birth and because her family played music all the time as she was growing up. She is a force of nature. You can aspire to sing like her, but don’t push it. We would like to see and hear you on TH-cam someday!

This is what people do not get. Her writing on paper at the start is directions for the band - because she wanted to take the song back to its composer Screaming JH original in her interpretation. You have such a wonderful journey ahead of you discovering her over 120 videos she has made over the last six or seven years. I’m 66 years old and have listened and loved music all my life and she is one of my favorite singers I’ve ever enjoyed listening to. When she was on Norway's Got Talent as a 8 year old she corrected the musicians and made them do it her way, she really is the real deal and a musical prodigy. Now that you have seen what she is capable of you will notice that with Angelina less is often more, she does not over use musical acrobatics and is more focused on how to convey the feeling of the song, then reaching those high notes.

I totally agree with you that she will be a super star, I believe she already is. I’m 66 years old and have listened and loved music all my life and she is one of my favorite singers I’ve ever enjoyed listening to. She delivers emotion like I haven’t experienced since Elvis (BTW she sings Elvis Presley’s songs better than anyone I’ve heard besides Elvis himself and she gives him a run for his money lol. When she was on Norway's Got Talent as a 8 year old she corrected the musicians and made them do it her way, she really is the real deal and a musical prodigy. Now that you have seen what she is capable of you will notice that with Angelina less is often more, she does not over use musical acrobatics and is more focused on how to convey the feeling of the song, then reaching those high notes.

If you look back you will see that she doesn't have small feet. She is now 6ft tall. She is the most awesome talent to come along this century Her voice is helping me get
through this pandemic.
I was using small not in a literal way, just in reference to her being young. Yes, she has a beautiful voice.
