Ugh. I feel this on a deep level. Mine wasn't religious but I had a friend who got into holistic healing and talked me into not listening to my doctors. It didn't go well.

I’m so sorry to hear this. Most of us in the IBD realm have been hit with the well meaning, “this fixed my gut and might work on you too,” unsolicited help. 🤦🏻
I like to think most don’t do it on purpose. But man, it isn’t fun to find new ways of saying, “mind your business.” 😂
