- Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has a plethora of powerful blades at the player's disposal. But what would happen if we combined the might of the three strongest blades in the game?
Complete and utter destruction. This team setup completely annihilates the likes of Tyrannotitan Kurodil, Artifice Ophion and Gladiator Orion in less than three minutes.
Due to the robotic nature of the three blades (with KOS-MOS designed to save humanity, Herald designed to destroy humanity, and Poppi designed to serve humanity), it's only appropriate that they get a fitting name: JUDGMENT DAY PROTOCOL! Enjoy!^^ - เกม

Last night in a conversation on Discord, it was brought to my attention that Poppi QTπ can be optimized even further through downgrading your Critical Restore to Rank I, letting you accommodate more options.
Personally, I recommend adding another Challenger V special enhancing RAM, or you can try to play around with Vital Charge. Have fun!^^

You can also downgrade to muscle mod V. The master modules are a resource hog for only an additional 5%
how you get light elemental from poppi y?
Mike Austin you probably need the Manuel to craft elemental cores. You also unlock stage 5 as you progress via the story. Stage 5 drops elemental cores

That was fun.
Once I got through NG+ and was able to upgrade Poppi using the bards, I did the final boss as Mythra, KOS-MOS, and QTπ. I made sure to do it again after getting the light core. I can't wait for the Xenoblade 1 blades so I could replace Mythra with Seven and do a triple generation robot team.
I just got KOS-MOS today along with 5 other rare blades, just need to get dhalia
i spamming food just for these three waifus. oh man it took me about 5 hours and both my thumbs start to hurt.

Hi Nn Li, would you recommend farming chips from superboss by what you did in the video, or maybe keep doing driver combos to force them dropping items until they die.

You can make heralds level I do insane damage if you stick Fiora on your team. I know that she wasn't out at this time but she is honestly in the top 3 best blades in the game
Now I know what is my strategy for NG+
I came back after finally getting Kos mos in my second playthrough during chapter 9
I think i will be using mythra over one of these because she builds light orbs the fastest out of any blade and when i go into the chain attack it will most likely be overkill anyway for most of the superbosses (and faster the light orb, the faster i will get to kill orion)
Well I want to give this a try but first I need to get Kos-Mos

I have all S+, and the damage is double. Pratically you can do it even faster, and with only Kosmos. (I suggest you to use critical Symbol)

Tim Kerkemeiker you can't, but just keep at it and you'll eventually get the notification that says trust hit S+

I have a question about the common blades in your party, do the AI switch to them during the fight or are they intelligent enough to stick with the blade that deals the most damage ?
Hikaru They mostly stay on them, but all he needs is the kosmos synergy with poppi to build the orb, and then he chain attacks.
I find that AI's only switch if :
1. They see an elemental orb opportunity based on who's already on the field (Lightning and Light work together)
2. They're using Vale (had Rex stay on Vale forever, possibly to stack passive damage)
Nn Li what is vales passive?
gains damage for each special used but resets upon switch
I've had the AI sit on a blade due to having a move with the break effect but failing to get the break because superboss, you need to keep that in mind

I thought the same, using Mythra and Nia as Rex's blade in case you need healing. Not the same dammage but sould work too.

well id love to do this but my only problem is ive spent almost 70 hours just grinding for core crystals for KOS-MOS and 99% of those hours were auto grinding legendary core crystals i dont think im allowed to have KOS-MOS

because he can cancel attacks at the right time he doesn't need the healing that much, but KOS-MOS's lv 2 special is actually a team heal in case you need that

You really should complete alpha's and QT's Affinity Charts. They'll go to S+ immediately and their charts are not too hard to complete.
Yup! Actually had them completed last night. It's hilarious to see Poppi Alpha have higher auto attack damage than the rest of my attackers :P
How much crit chance on blades is needed before it makes sense to spec into crit damage for driver accessories?
i'm disappointed that the one blade built on superbosses (zenobia) was not included in this team

Level 5 random drop from chests. Need to get all the chests. Don't worry about getting all the crystals. Same thing with Master mods.
Whose the better super boss killer? Herald, Zenobia, Poppi Qt Pi, or Kos-Mos personally I think is in this order: Kos-Mos, Poppi QT Pi, Zenobia, and Herald
Mine N Adventurer Zenobia is op bc of crit rate and recharge special but kosmos is just so much better overall damage wise imo.

Got a question, how your poppi qt pi has 1699 auto attack dmg and my has only 990 and it has the same weapon chip and built the same way as yours, but my has only lvl 4 skill circle unlock.

Why'dja put healers on zeke? what were their stat bonuses? apologies if you explained that and I missed it.
No problem! The two healers have Ether Stat Modifiers (22% and 23%), which boost the damage of Ether Cannons. Same goes for Nia!
was the healer for reducing aggro that herald draws? otherwise wouldn't kos-mos more benefit more from healing bonuses?

Step one: have KOS-MOS
Could I use mythra instead of Poppi? Obviously wouldn't be as good but the light core continues to elude me after hours and hours of tiger tiger.
You definitely could sub for Mythra! Using her with an Omega Drive is insanely useful for building up party gauge quickly. In terms of an element, Fire might be a good element for Poppi QTπ since it stacks on itself for the orb, or you can have Fire + Fire + Light to create a Light orb!
What team would you recommend for dealing with a bunch of monsters?
perceval and dagas come to mind.
Perceval, Dagas and Boreas seem to be the ideal blades for their respective roles, in a large crowd setting. I wish there were more late game places that involved that kind of encounter.

Just set up your fighters with Crit chips and items and then Crit. Heal or Damage Heal accessories and every time you do critical damage, it heals a certain portion to your HP. The key is maintaining high DPS and building Affinity for Specials.

Funny how it's harder for me to get the light core then getting kos-mos.
You can get the core from a Travelling Bard.
How can I get Kos-mos, Zenobia and Vale? These are the only rare blades I need so far and for some reason I don't seem to have much luck with them!! I have tried upping my lock mod, use the appropriate boosts and Legendary core crystals plus rare ones... still nothing! I have done all of the side quests and affinity charts for all of my rare blades. I'm in Chapter 10 waiting to unlock these blades so that I can go up the elevator and finish the game. I've also used a lot of common cores and still I don't get anything. It's starting to be really frustrating at this point!
I feel your pain, man. I've been stuck in an endless cycle of unlocking, releasing common blades for three nights before I finally got Zenobia. I've logged hundreds of hours into this game, so all I can say is that it's just a matter of time!

go into the game trying your hardest to roll Ursula, floren and Boreas and watch in awe as you end up rolling Zenobia and Kos-Mos out of nowhere. (I actually rolled both Zenobia and Kos-Mos within 5 minutes).
my personal fave build end game is herald, dagas, and poppi qtpi. this set up does more damage than your build :)
I'm pretty sure on the internet there are tons of SOLO builds out there that outdamage our builds ;)

Pogoshark it should work just about the same just with different blade arts.

Nn Li The exact same only more optimized. Sorry if you hadn't but I mentioned it you and the tech on the last video and you responded so I assumed that's where you got it from but it's very possible you picked it up elsewhere so sorry if I jumped the gun.
You should really look at their video's they kill Ophion in 40 seconds with just a chain att and kills everyone's favorite icecube sb using just herald's first sp in the chain really brilliant builds and no doubt the first to showcase it on youtube but they hardly get any exposure so it sucks.
I think it's more that it's an easy conclusion to reach based on the general suggestions of opness of these blades. I'd come to the same conclusion before this video but want to try to use Zenobia

Wait? Gladiator Orion is a **Super**Boss? I thought he was just a unique, since I died to him when I was getting to the boss fight if Chapter 7, and I thought none of the super bosses spawned until after you beat the game
To be fair some of the lv 90-100 bosses felt far more deserving of the title of superboss then the actual superbosses, Grevious Clive, Anterdecent XiaXia and Leonine Sadie I felt were far harder than Kurodil and King Ken.

But I had some of my party on Merc missions and had to run away because of how much a sack of healthy meat it was, and I had a lot of my important Blade combo’s blades away, such as Nia and Aegeon,

easy mode among other tips in guides help. easy mode doesn't decrease rewards and makes you invincible to walls, you can even clip through em if pushed to screen edge by em.

Late as hell, but if you input any Art just as an auto-attack connects you deal a good chunk more damage.

It is best to have any rare blades on other characters, Nia is probably the best one to overdrive protocol to.

You could! it would be a bit of a drop in damage, but Mythra builds Light Orbs faster than anyone else in the game, so you could speed your way through the battle regardless.
