I love the Benchmade Claymore, I have 9070BK & 9070BK-1, they came out in 2022. The Serrated Blades came out in 2021, but I don't have them yet. The mini is now out and soon the others will be offered with Tanto Blades. Not to brag, but the ones I have opens up even faster than the one in the video, and the first time I used it, it flew out of my hand. So be careful when opening yours when or if you decide to get one!
The claymore fires hard for sure. I bought one when they first came out but sold it a week later because I couldn't stand the cheap hollow feel of the plastic they use for the handle. For $200 it should have been G10.
Excellent comparisons! I own several Benchmade as including Claymore, Mediator & bugout among few other fixed blades… From personal experience, I think mediator is a great knife for most people. I’ve been carrying the mediator a great deal over the last year. It’s a great “hybrid”, in that it mostly performs like a larger tactical knife while maintaining the qualities of smaller EDC pocket knife with regards to weight & width etc. The handle is small and at times feels too small for heavy duty use, but great knife. Not to mention I love the S90v steel, it’s my first knife with s90v and man does it hold it an edge! Side note: in regards to serrated blades, I never really understood the distain some have for serration on blades. I get that it sometimes interrupts the flow of the blade and at times makes the knife uglier. As someone who works as a cop & on the marine unit, I always look for partial serration. I don’t camp and I never use knives to carve wood etc haha but I can’t tell you how often I’ve used the serration over the years for heavy cuts which in return saves my blade from use. Anyways, big fan of partial serration & another unpopular opinion, I love tanto blades. I’m able to manipulate things like screws etc and get lots of practical use out of tanto blades and serration… ok rant over. Great video!
That's a personal choice based on size. The claymore is a good deal larger. The claymore was designed more around military use and the casbah for daily EDC. Again it's your preference - they're both good knives

@@OGBladeReviews I just meant your voice and tone. Had me confused for a minute, lol. I was brought here bc a day or two after my father passed and I inherited his ridiculously absurd knife collection, I picked out the Casbah for my new EDC. Went on a bike ride, got home, found a broken zipper on my backpack, and have been missing the Casbah ever since.
Some very cool autos. The shootout is awesome. Great video 👍
Love the autocrat and shootout. They're both on my wish list. Great knives Dave and a great review
Thanks Garey! 👍🗡️👊
Did you ever get an auto?

I like Bedlam the most. Killer blades&killer vid knife bro!!
Nice I have the 9400 & 5700! I really enjoy them both
Good choice!
I'd love to add a Claymore to my collection, but my state has some bonehead legislators. Looks like it's got some kick to it :)
So does mine, maybe we’re talking about the same state🤣

I'm afraid we'll need to get used to that, just like transitioning from wood to synthetics... LOL 👍🗡️👊

Great thoughts! Thanks for watching! 👍🗡️👊
Kubey atlas coming today old sword 🗡👍. Your vid and LTK s informed me well enough to make a good decision , appreciate you .
Why is choice! 👍🔥🗡️
HOLY F man! Where did you get Bedlam?! One of the greatest knives ever made!
Long ago
The 9100 is the best in my opinion, and has proven itself with deployment with every major U.S. Military division
Is the casbah worth it because im looking into it
For around 190 it's a good value in a medium sized auto. Carried and fires well with solid lock up. 🗡️👊
@@OGBladeReviews which would be better the claymore or the casbah ?

Which do you prefer mediator vs casbah?
A little more favor towards the mediator, due to higher end steel, price is also higher. 👍🗡️👊
@@OGBladeReviews thank you for your opinion , just ordered me one 👍🏼
Where's the CLA?????
Are you using these things? They all look brand new, that's why I ask?
Difficult to have them all... 😁
This vid is a year old. Most of these have seen more use now, or have been sold off...
This guy sounds like Mark Serbu.

Keep your eyes out on the secondary market and you might just find someone who wants to sell! Best of luck... 👍🗡️👊
