Calathea, goeppertia, maranta, stromanthe... today we're talking prayer plants (and why I love them)

I got myself the rabbits foot Maranta some time ago as my 2-3 plant and it's doing surprisingly well!

Hi Francesca. Thanks for a very informative video. I have to say I’m admiring prayer plants from afar these days because I ordered a maranta online and the plant they sent me was not only very straggly but also came with spider mite which took that plant as well as my beautiful Calathea Makoyana. I do have a “Rattlesnake plant” in a darker corner of my bedroom and it’s bulletproof, says it’s prayers every night on time and shows off it’s purple underside of the leaves. It’s gorgeous!

It's a shame when pests spoil your love for a type of plant, but I definitely get it and have been there - I hope you got some kind of refund!
I love my dark green calatheas too - they add so much to those empty dark corners :)
