Originally ChalkZone was going to air in 2000, but the episodes were made in 1999, but due to other big plans, Nickelodeon released the first season in 2002, and by the time the first episode was released, Season 2 was already finished. In my opinion, the last day of the 90’s era of Nickelodeon was Sept. 3, 2000, which the day after that will be the Abstract era, which means Dora The Explorer was the last 90’s era Nick show as it came out in Aug. 2000.

    Duh the 2000's are better
    1.Catdog got cancelled
    2. banger shows started even if most of them ended quicky

      1. Heard about the show but never watched it. Also, that show ended with the year I was born
      2. ATLA, Invader Zim, and Danny Phantom proves this point
      3. They’re classic but I can’t take them seriously anymore because of Dan Schneider. Not to mention, how it affected many of the child actor’s health, especially Jennette McCurdy and Alexa Nikolas
      4. Indeed the best era for SpongeBob and Fairly Oddparents
      5. I didn’t mind Loud House in the beginning but it easily became an overkill. I thought the show would’ve ended sooner after two seasons

I’m tempted to say the 90s is the best era of Nick purely because of Hey Arnold and Rocko’s Modern Life. But on the other hand the 2000s has Jimmy Neutron which is also one of my all time favorite animated shows all alongside other great nicktoons like Invader Zim, early Fairly OddParents and early SpongeBob.
I think I’ll probably say I think the 2000s is best.
Also I definitely don’t think Hey Arnold is a lesser talked about show. It had 5 seasons 1 movie in 2002 and another in 2017 it’s a well received show from both fans and critics and is regularly included in Nickelodeon crossovers like All Star Brawl and their Kart Racing games.

... but were you watching the shows from the 2000s? because i'm guessing you watched the 90's shows more. the actual nuance is, 2000's is best in actually being engaging and active with the viewer to draw them in, bright but still pleasant colors, and overall pretty timeless in their looks. the 90's however, you can't outshine those plots, man. they were so thought out, and you can feel that the writers cared about every single second. despite the sometimes dated styles (WTB for example, even though i quite like the style of that show), all the shows had a lot of soul and amazing characters. both can be the best in different things, doesn't hurt to open up to that perspective.

Those first three seasons of Spongebob are classic; one of the best comedies ever written. But the show was just never the same after the first movie, in my opinion; and it's probably because that was when the series creator, Stephen Hillenburg, decided to step away from the show. It should have just ended there, honestly; then we wouldn't have so many bad Spongebob seasons and spinoffs tarnishing the show's legacy. Fairly OddParents was also really great early on, but similarly fell off midway through its run; the writing took a nosedive right around when they started adding a bunch of new characters to the main cast. It was honestly really disheartening to see Nick's two greatest shows suddenly get a lot worse, and at around the same time, too.
But those two shows aside, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Teenage Robot, Invader Zim, El Tigre, and especially Avatar were all really excellent shows too, and all together they definitely cement the 2000s as Nickelodeon's best era; it was just hit after hit after hit for a while. They were all great, but Avatar was on a whole other level - it's one of the greatest shows of all time, animated or otherwise, so that was the decade's real heavy-hitter, in my opinion.

It’s subjective whether you prefer the shows from the 90’s or the 2000’s since both had great shows, but the 90’s were more successful since all of the shows ran for more than 2 seasons. As for which era had the better shows, imo the 2000’s were definitely the better era since we got banger shows that were steps up from their predecessors and were more fun to watch imo. My favorites are Invader Zim (my No. 1 favorite,) Jimmy Neutron (my 2nd favorite,) and Danny Phantom (my 3rd favorite.) I haven’t watched Avatar before so I don’t have any strong opinions on it yet, but I want to watch it and know what the hype is all about. However the 90s were also great and laid the foundations for the next Nicktoons that would come the next era. I haven’t watched many 90’s Nicktoons though.
Also, how the hell do you not like Hey Arnold?!

I may respect your opinion but I honestly disagree with a lot of these
      90s
      - Doug: It’s cool and I’ve watched a few episodes. Still think there’s better shows tho (6.5/10)
      - Rugrats: Interesting and I do like their adventures. I’m also one of the people who find Angelica to be annoying (7/10)
      - Ren & Stimpy: I watch South Park, which is supposed to be adult and cruel, yet I can’t stand this show. Doesn’t help how the creator is a creep (0/10)
      - Rocko: Never watched it so I don’t know
      - Aaahh Real Monsters: Never watched it but the series came out on my birthday
      - Hey Arnold: Never watched it but I want to. Sadly I don’t have Paramount+. Not to mention, I mostly remember Helga of all characters due to being a tsundere and having bad parents
      - KaBlam: Heard about it but never watched
      - Angry Beavers: Same with KaBlam
      - CatDog: One of the many shows I never watched
      - Wild Thornberrys: I kinda want to watch it besides Nigel being an ultimate meme. Too bad no one mentions Lacey Chabert’s talent since she’s Gretchen Wieners and Kaycee from Bratz
      - SpongeBob: Seasons 1-3 are peak. It’s more than 10/10 since it’s legendary for the Gen Z era. Has the best episodes like Helped Wanted, Pizza Delivery, and Band Geeks just to name a few. My favorite has to be Life Of Crime because I keep quoting “You took my only food, now I’m gonna starve!” First film is awesome too! The rest is downright trash, especially now
      - Rocket Power: Know it’s the same creators as Rugrats but never watched it
      00s
      - As Told By Ginger: Want to watch it but I might be triggered with a few subjects such as why does Ginger keep her toxic best friend?
      - Fairly OddParents: Earlier seasons like seasons 1-3 were good (7.5/10), 4-7 were okay (5.5/10), forgot about 8 (IDK), and we don’t talk about 9 and 10 (0/10)
      - Invader Zim: I have mixed feelings. At one point, I want to watch it since I find it to be one of the more unique Nicktoons out there for its dark tone. The other is how I’m horrified of the fandom from the ships to fangirls fantasizing about being inside of Zim. Maybe some day I would see it on Paramount+
      - ChalkZone: Watched a few episodes on a website and I enjoyed it. Wish I could’ve seen more (9/10)
      - Jimmy Neutron: I’ve only seen clips of it due to memes but I don’t mind binging the whole show as long as I watch the film first
      - All Grown Up: Again, heard of but never watched
      - Teenage Robot: I want to watch it, yet I can’t take Sheldon seriously because I think of the same voice actor video that shows him and Raiden from Metal Gear
      - Danny Phantom: Watched only a few episodes but I forgot. However, I do want to understand the hype about it
      - Avatar: The other best show in Nickelodeon that’s more than 10/10. Love the characters, story, almost everything. It’s just that iconic and bonus for the voice actors
      - Catstratch: Feel like I show watch it
      - The X’s: Not really interested
      - El Tigre: I mean if I enjoyed Book Of Life, I should check this out
      - Tak: Never knew this show and franchise until watching worse Nickelodeon shows of all time. While I’m not interested in the cartoon or game itself, I’d rather play the video game instead
      - Barnyard: Mostly know it for memes but I did watched a few episodes as a kid, which I completely forgot it overtime
      - Mighty B: Barely watched it but forgot. Looking back, I see why it never gets brought up
      - Penguins: I prefer the Madagascar films
      - Fanboy and Chum Chum: Just no but I rather watch it than even worse cartoons from Nick or any other channel (0.5/10)
      10s
      - Planet Sheen: Is it wrong how I would ultimately prefer FBaCC any day? (0/10)
      - TUFF Puppy: Watched like two episodes but forgot about the premise. Now I would mostly remember it for it’s furry fandom because I heard of Kitty simps
      - Kung Fu Panda: Prefer the films since they’re classic
      - Korra: Show gets underestimated and while the original is better, people should give it a chance and understand more about Korra’s struggles instead of bashing her out. Not to mention, Korra with Asami is cuter than any of the girls going out with Mako (8/10)
      - Robot and Monster: Rarely watched it but completely forgot about it
      - TMNT 2012: How I knew the TMNT franchise and at first, I thought it was cool. Looking back to it, I don’t like how Apriltello is presented here (6/10)
      - Monsters vs Ailens: They should’ve just kept the film
      - Sanjay and Craig: Forgot about it but the more I look back, the more bizarre I find it
      - Breadwinners: All I see is ass. TOO MUCH ASS. Kind of the kid version of Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda and Jennifer Lopez’s Booty
      - Harvey Beaks: I have no opinion on this at all
      - Pig Goat Banana Cricket: I’ll be honest, I only watched it because goats along with sheep are my favorite animals. Yet, I didn’t really enjoy the show and all I can remember is how weirdly disturbing it is. Not even the voice of Wedge from Final Fantasy 7 remake is gonna save this (0/10)
      - Loud House: Like a solid 6.5/10 on the earlier seasons. The rest is where I’ve already lost interest. Although the last new episode I watched was Schooled and that was horrible
      - Bunsen Is A Beast: I gave it a chance. At first, I didn’t mind it but then I completely forgot the whole premise of the show other than new student is a creature who befriends a human but the antagonist is a schoolgirl version of Mr. Crocker. Unpopular opinion, I could tolerate this than FBaCC, somewhat (1/10)
      - Welcome to the Wayne: Never had any interest but seen many criticism that they copied Gravity Falls, which is my favorite Disney Channel show
      - Adventures of Kid Danger: This was already bad enough. I don’t like Henry Danger and I’m sad the franchise isn’t over
      - Rise of TMNT: Should give it a chance
      - Casagrandes: I thought Ronnie Anne was cool but never expected she would be very popular. Also, Nick should really stop giving side characters their own spin-offs
      - Middle Schools Moguls- I have never heard of this show in my whole life but I do agree with people thinking it should’ve been on another channel. If I had anything to hate on this show, then it’s Jojo Siwa appearing there
      - It’s Pony: Kept seeing the ads but never gained any interest
      20s
      - Glitch Techs: Never watched it but it looks cool. Although I mostly know it because I heard of the fandom and how they were sadden with it’s early cancellation
      - Kamp Koral: (0/10) End of story
      - Middlemost Post: I hardly know a thing about it
      - The Patrick Star Show: Would prefer Casagrandes over this. However with Planet Sheen, it’s a tough decision. Both are beloved best friends of protagonists who are goofy and hilarious but once they’re put in the spotlight, they’re flandernized more
      - Rugrats 2021: Meh
      - Star Trek Prodigy: I never had an interest in the Star Trek franchise
      - Big Nate: I’ve read the books but I never expected it to get a tv adaption. Would’ve been better if the tv adaption was made sooner since I feel like it would fit better in the 2010s era. Although I’m surprised it features Dove Cameron and Reno Sinclair
      - Monster High: Remember I said how much I despise some of these other shows, this one’s my breaking point because I grew up with the first generation and this one’s trying hard to be Disney Channel’s Zombies. I absolutely how they made the iconic characters like Clawdeen Wolf (Who was already a fierce baddie) and made her to a (Y/n). Cleo became a TikToker instead of the lovable alpha bitch. Seeing nice Nefera is unsettling. Miss the cheerful and friendly Draculaura because I don’t know why they made her sarcastic with a strict dad. Never in my life I want to see this reboot ever
      - Transformers Earthspark: Was never interested in the Transformers franchise and at this point, I doubt anyone watches the new animations
      - Rock Paper Scissors: What I’ve been seeing lately is how people say it’s good. I don’t know what to believe anymore. I’ll be honest, I thought it would suffer the same fate as the 2010s era. The more I look into this series, it reminds me of Ed Edd N Eddy, Team Aqua Force, and the object shows on TH-cam combined. I just thought this show would’ve been extremely forgotten; Edit: So I watched it last week and I kinda like it despite seeing A New Wish to be far more superior. Likewise, it’s a guilty pleasure. I now understand why people see this as an improvement to past shows. Yet, it won’t really bring back viewers to watch Nickelodeon again, especially since there’s a highly disturbing fart joke episode I kept making jokes about the children’s program releasing shows vs the public. Not to mention, Rock is my favorite character and I find it a bonus how he’s voiced by the iconic King Shark in the Harley Quinn show. Generally speaking, it’s those shows that are not too bad nor not too good either. However, never had I ever expected it to have some fans on DeviantArt and find the trio to be hot. I’m seriously not kidding. (6/10)
      - FOP A New Wish: Missed freaking opportunity. I was judging how it’s going to be bad but I feel ashamed how there was so many good things that came out of this show. The characters, the animation, the story, I believe this would revive Nickelodeon back to its glory. Although I’m among many of the people who watched it because of the Peri reveal, I do want to know more about the series as a whole. While I do have cable, it only features the recent episodes. Heard it might appear on Netflix soon, which I would definitely be binge watching. Not to mention, I do prefer this over the later OG FOP episodes. Right now I might rank it a (9.5/10) but I wouldn’t apparently change my mind later

Can I ask why is Loud House so low when you say that the 2010s are the best era? Loud House did get bad in its later seasons, but the first 3 were good. Ik the fanbase is…well, something else, but a toxic fanbase can’t ruin a show (unless that show is M*P, that show it trash and should’ve never been made.) Besides, it’s better than most of the other shows that were airing in the 2010s. Also El Tigre should be at 9/10 if all of the other 1 season Nicktoons that released around it (The X’s, Catscratch, and Tak) are also 9/10s since it tops all of them by some points imo.

Star Trek: Prodigy is actually, *really good, lol,* I am a huge star trek fan to be fair, one that does watch a lot of *good* cartoons, cartoons Mr. Mung here would agree are good, but you don't really need to be a star trek fan to enjoy prodigy, its just a fun sci-fi show. It doesn't really function as a Star Trek introduction show though, its way too different, mostly consisting of references and jokes that poke fun at star trek rather than being very star trek like, but it is still a *very* good cartoon, and a *very* fun star trek show, don't listen to it's reviews, the majority of the audience will be star trek fans, and those are like 80% 40-60 year old white men who haven't seen a cartoon in 30-50 years, saying the show is bad simply because it is a cartoon.
