Why is everyone like “uggghhh it’s not even on the switch this makes no sense”. Persona Q and Q2 are on the 3ds AND sakurai literally said he loved persona five and even made design choices in smash ultimate based off of persona 5. Also the announcer voices joker ;)

Sora is a stretch boys, as much as that is a Square Enix property I'm fairly certain the character itself is tied up in a lot of Disney copyright. If he's in the game you better believe they'll want items, assists, and who knows what else. But having a mega challenger pack with Sora and a bunch of other stuff WOULD be pretty awesome.
EDIT: Just checked, ALL Kingdom Hearts references are owned by Disney. It isn't going to happen.
i dunno, if this is their first reveal, they gotta have some even crazier pie-in-the-sky characters in their back pocket as well. and it seems if anyone can pull it off, it's Reggie. Disney certainly complicates things, but if Joker can get in, then nothing is completely off the table
I mean, yeah, but that’s still apples and oranges. There isn’t even anything comparable to Disney, so it’s more complicated than any other possible example. Why give up the dream, but extremely unlikely.
I think it's certainly possible maybe as the final one gives them time to show Disney it can open roads and Disney loves money so possible. But I'm excited about the possibilities with it overall

It's not necessary to have played the game he originated from, to understand that him being in Smash is a big deal. I've never played P5, and I'm hyped for this character.
I've never played Bayonetta but that didn't stop me from jumping up and down and going "holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!" (And before anyone accuses me of overacting for the camera, this was BEFORE I started doing reaction videos)
It's near impossible not to enjoy a game that has content from Metal Gear, Sonic, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Bayonetta, Castlevania, and now Persona on top of Nintendo's vast library. Sakurai should be proud of himself. Not everyone can make such an achievement.

Asursfire think atlus said that it wouldn't be on any other con consoles besides PS3 and 4. I would love p5 on switch though one of my favourite games I've played and completed 100% portable would be really nice to be honest

Never played Persona 5, mostly because I don't have any gaming platforms that it is on, so I wasn't as excited for this character than for others.
However, I'm still very glad for the people who did want him in Smash Bros. I hope they have fun with Joker once he is in the game.
All I need now is Hollow Knight in Smash. Then this game will be complete. For me anyways.
