@@ThePrescriber at the time, I chose 2014 cause that was when phase 5 started to really spread. Especially in California. Phase 5 is what led to the infamous 2.0. Which personally, Is more mid and cheap than anything
@@retro_username77do you think 2014 because of fnaf too? Or do you think it benefited people's intrest? I personally got into fnaf and knew that chuck e cheese existed but then got into real anamatronics and am now trying to incorporate the 2 ideas together
Just to clarify for anybody confused; the Irving, TX CEC shown in this video is not the same one that exists today. This was another PTT nearby that closed in 1984. The current Irving, TX location (the one that had the 1 stage) opened in 1987. The location shown in this video is now an Indian supermarket with a castle theme to it.
I live somewhere in the Philadelphia Tri-State Area. We go to Gillian’s Wonderland Pier, located at the southern Jersey shore, which has a retrofitted PTT Animatronic Show. Look it up.
I may be the only one who wished PTT never went bankrupt or sold to showbiz. I love showbiz but i wonder what CEC would of looked like today if it was still ptt’s
Did you know that, there are multiple Chuck E. Cheese’s? Wow!! Mind blown 🤯 no way!!! I only thought there was one 😧😧😧 (sarcasm.) he bought a stage from ONE store in the 80s lmao.
The spirit of ptt died in 83. The love of Showbiz died in 1988. And the soul of CEC died in 2014. But deep down the heart is still going.
Wow, why 2014 yourself? Did it had to do with the songs they couldn't cover anymore?

The love of Showbiz died in 1990
@@retro_username77 i would personally say 2005

The most interesting part of the video is Jeff Henry at the end talking about his Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels retrofitting a balcony.
Did you ever see the animatronics?

I’ve seen that, very cool.
Fun fact I found footage of them in that water park in here skip to 8.00 th-cam.com/video/fY51CYzBY6E/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
@@Dippyslopethey seem to have just renamed chuck e to "cube e" and resay any lines that say his old name
This video is depressing. Just to see everything just sitting there motionless.
Totally agree
What's more depressing is the fact that Chuck's missing his teeth
Wo Chuck with no teeth ) yankee with no brim reference
Agreed
Well, at least they are not destroying them like they do now.
Irving used to look like this! It's crazy how this store has evolved
The Irving CEC there today isn't the same store as the former PTT

63 ptts getting sold for scrap is probably why we can find so many cyber amics in people private collections today!
Maybe if they would do this now,the company would not in so much trouble.
Bushnell was probably pissed
It’s all coming back
$14,000? Not bad at all!
This is just very sad and depressing
it hurts to watch this (not because of the auction but because of the audio)
R.I.P P.T.T
Could this possibly be due to the video game crash of '83?
This is almost definitely due to that.
This is really sad :( and how showbiz bought pizza time theater ( i hope I'm saying this right)
You’re back? Huge surprise
still surprising showbiz bought em out
Showbiz was a BIG thing in the early 80’s (it’s okay if you didn’t know.)
No Name No Name I did I’m a CEC/SPP fan lol
Not that much. They were going bankrupt themselves
Hi do you have any more media surrounding this location most of this place is lost media and we'd like to uncover it.
Wait are those robots the ones at that one amusement park with the retrofitted cec bots
wow cool where did you find this this is cool and nice channel you have
This was found on a Texas archival site.
@Danger Carter hi
So where is the show now
The show is currently at earth.
It used to be at Schlitterbahn
@RobloxGuest2009 New Braunfels, TX
Come back and upload new videos!
What happened to the animatronics?
They went to Schlitterbahn
So what ended up happening to the cyberamics? Cause they still have the one stage did the auction buyer decided not to buy it anymore? I’m so confused
New Bots were made by animation world in the early 90s for the new cyberamic stages

@@CEC_Cyberamic wow, responded really early!
Ik you may already know but this Irving is a different store from the current irving
Dear God poor Chuck E
Put footage san juan puerto rico Chuck e cheese pizza time theater
What road is it on
He said cybernanics instead of cyberamics
So CU but the other way around this is more depressing
I like how Helen is a chicken
It’s Irving tx was used to be ptt?
There was one, yes
One of the Irving stores was once a PTT yes.
the one in this video, but not the current CEC in Irving (they technically opened as a Showbiz Pizza with a Rocker Stage in 1988),
What location
Irving texas, it is long closed
Is this location still open
No. This location was closed and auctioned off in 1984 (as seen in the video)
Oh so this isn’t the current Irving cause I was confused
That's just sad
The guy they interviewed looks and sounds an awful lot like Nolan Bushnell
Pizza Time Theatre's founder?
it’s not, lmaoo. that wouldn’t make any sense, for nolan to buy his own show from his own company. use that head of yours, alex.
That's terrible. just terrible
