I had a party at this very location when I was tiny. Oddly enough, my parents came here on multiple dates (before they were married and before I was born)
This is all the information I could find of the CEC PTT in Wayne NJ: The PTT in Wayne NJ opened at 29 NJ-23 on Monday October 18, 1982, with Madame Oink as the guest star and cabaret character The King. This location, like any other, had a room called "The Fantasy Forest" with more than 100 games and attractions for children, such as: Q'bert, Food Fight and Pole Position. And a room with a Ball Crawl called "Pasqule's Pool". Also a sports room with a big TV and you could even join the Chuck E. fan club and there were free tours. By 1983, Helen Henny was installed as a permanent guest star, as were the Beach Bowzers. And in 1984 the location was named in one of Chuck E Cheese's 1984 commercials called "cheesy", at this point on August 24, 1984, Rapid T. Rabbit taped an episode of his series at this very location and you can watch the full video on TH-cam. This location, along with the Brunswick and Union locations, were the trio of locations operating in NJ at the time. The PTT location in Wayne closed its doors in 1987, and a new location opened in 1992 in a different place as a CEC (the CEC that is currently located is NOT the PTT that opened in 1982). For those who wonder if the old PTT building still exists, well yes, the building is still standing and is currently (2022) a store called "Green Life Market"
Like 10 minutes haha! There is very little information about this location and I have gathered any type of information: newspapers from (1982-83), the only advertisement there is and this video (both of them from 1984) and I really wanted to contribute a grain of sand to gather information of this location that for me is my favorite! Anyway thanks for answering! :D
I'm actually right by this location at this moment. If only it didn't close so soon. It was one of the many PTTs that closed in the mid-80s unfortunately

SONICFAN ‘91 OK I was gonna post this comment on this video but you can give a better answer than anyone who sees this video after me could, ARE THESE THE MAN & DOG!!?? I kinda think they might be because Jasper has the same outfit he did at Zach Perriwinkle’s and Helen has identical eyeliner to Henrietta’s in the 90s!!!!! The only problem is Pasqually’s mask being the older one but this location didn’t close til 1987 so maybe they changed it somewhere along the way? What do you think? Or do you already know what location the Man & Dog were from...

Is that John Widelock as his voice as Chuck E?
Yes it is indeed. The one and only 'Big C' himself !
Are these the same animatronics that are at Wayne today?
Cosmetically, no.
Mechanically, possible.
Yeah, they may still use the same mechanisms for the characters except with modifications to the arms
They closed in 1987
Where was this PTT located? I've been to the current location but I don't know if it was in the current location.
