It was actually or Siam because Burma never attacked Cambodia. As evidenced by China, Burma, and Cambodia under Khmer rule for more than 400 years, Cambodia became independent when or Siam surrendered its territories to France or Siam, so no Siam was colonized. I hope you find a little more information about it.

What are you trying to say? 400 years of what? Cambodia didn't gain independence after the France-Siam treaty that ceded Battambang and territory around Angkor back to Cambodia. Cambodia was a protectorate and then a colony of France. Cambodia didn't gain independence from France until 1953.

Both side is right ...but one key piece of evidence is the 400 years of SIAMES reign..then Khmer regain its region back call (Siem reap)=anilation then the rise of Napoleon in S.E.A yes Burma and Cambodia has a long history of friendship event the first Burmese monk and scripture still carving in one of the Khmer temple as now.

@@user-ch4pl6gl4e Are u stupid? There were villagers living nearby Angkor before the frenchman discovered it. Angkor was also abandoned because the Siamese sacked the capital. Of course most Khmer people knew this it's just that it has never been announced internationally due to Cambodia being a vassal state of Thailand for 400 years.
