I know Brian personally and I can tell you this. Even though Joe replaced him, Joe kept Brian on staff as an employee. Brian still got paid, still got medical coverage...which is why Brian was asked to come in multiple times to cover for Jamie when he couldn't be there. Brian was still an employee. Joe knew he was part of the whole growth and took care of him. Brian has been on the podcast maybe a dozen of times since he left as producer. Joe gave him a good ransom when he sold the show to Spotify, and now Brian is part owner of one of clubs in Austin. All in all, it worked out for both of them.

Redban is the type of friend who is a cool hang, one-on-one. But doesn't do well in groups. I've had friends like him who were cool to chill with. But bring him along to a group event, and they make stuff awkward with bad jokes or references to inside jokes.
For some reason nobody has ever noticed that the reason Joe gave Jamie the death stare is because Joe was doing a perfect segue into product placement and for some reason Jamie chimed in and said “it’s weird” when they’re being paid to plug this zero runner bullshit. Joe is the king of casual product placement and people don’t even realize it.
The funniest shit was when the guest was some sort of academic, scientist etc. And Redban would start talking about anal or some crazy fucked up shit. And Joe would give him a crazy look 🤣 "Oh Brian"
I was a big follower of the j.r.e podcast for years, but Joe really has changed. I don't know if it's because I'm English, but I don't and never have found Joe's stand up the slightest bit funny, it's painfully try hard. You don't hear Ricky Gervais tying to talk down to other comedians, trying to explain how it all works in such a condescending way. There are a lot of great American comedians, Joe is definitely not one of them.
@@youtubeenthussiast328 Yeah but Jamie isn't messing with the microphone levels right in the middle of a conversation and fucking with the flow and pissing Joe off. He also knows how to pull shit up right away. The useless gag was getting old when Joe fired him. If you'll notice, he's got his shit together for the most part on Kill Tony, probably because he learned being a shitty producer is a quick way to get you out of money.
@@ChochaHairit’s fucked up of Joe to say something negative about him and then get mad when he tries to defend himself. He wouldn’t have talked about how well it went if it weren’t for Joe saying it was “rough”. Every other instance makes sense but not that one.

Even if Redban was a goofball he was still able to maintain his relationship with Rogan after getting fired. That tells a lot about his character, especially if Rogan keeps on having him on now. He absolutely conducts himself like a man in certain areas of life.
Joe was right about the Olive Garden thing, it was annoying. But Redban was right about Vancouver “I had a good weekend in Vancouver” “I heard Sunday was rough👀” How was Brian supposed to respond? Joe definitely insinuated Brian did bad
I saw a show with Rogan and Redban (Theo and Hinchliffe also) a few years ago, and Redban had a better set. Rogan was easily the worst of the lineup that night, despite being the headliner. He also had the volume raised on his mic vs the previous acts and my ears were distorting. Horrible set and terrible experience.
Only reason Joe hasn't had "The Talk" with Schaub is because Joe gave him the talk about MMA and pushed Brendan into Comedy and then had him on his show over 80 times. Joe created this monster.
100%. that clip of the "intervention" that pushed Schaub into comedy is even sadder in retrospect. If he didn't have famous friends as a result of his failed UFC career, he probably would've found a humble, respectable job out of the spotlight and not became a laughing stock.
I think it’s more, based on Schwabbles telling anyhow, that after the MMA chat he perceived it as them telling him to do comedy since Joe and Callahan would tell him he’s soo funny etc… and schwabble would hang out with them in green rooms because he wanted friends and be part of the in group. So he interpreted it as you are a great comedian and they sorta grinned and Callahan took him on as a protege.
No no no, he told him he could multiple other things from mma including podcasting and comedy, but Joe always wants ppl to take the craft of comedy seriously, meaning almost anybody could get good at comedy if they love it and work at it over years and years. He never encouraged him to put out specials before he was ready, that was Brendan's decision.
So good, in fact, that the owner of the club put a gold star on his report card, and wrote a letter of recommendation allowing him to come back any time he wishes.
I sometimes fantasize about becoming a Kill Tony bucket pull just to deliver a minute-long Olive Garden endorsement with no punchline just to see the look on Redban’s face
I think it also had to do with Joe wanting to take his show a little more seriously and try to attract a wider ranger of guests and listeners. And anyone who listened to it back in the day will know that Brian can instantly dumb down one of the most thought provoking conversations to be had.
In a way it was the ideal transition for joes podcast according the cultural climate Brian could’ve gotten joe cancelled or in serious trouble if he was still with Joe at his podcasting prime/peak but I respect that Joe is still cool with Brian
Joe calling him out for the Olive Garden thing seems rude but it’s ultimately why his podcast succeeded. A lot of smaller shows get totally bogged down in inane stream of consciousness because people don’t realize how dull their thoughts are. Like him or not Joe is good at keeping podcasting informal and ‘conversational’ but still somewhat professional. There are a lot of people who might be smarter or funnier than Joe who have podcasts with no viewers because they can’t understand that somebody else’s social interactions aren’t interesting and engaging, they’re alienating. It’s like a group of drunk friends at the bar, it’s only interesting to them.
Still I feel like joe could’ve waited till after the podcasts to call him out. Maybe he did and Brian continued to be that way and that’s why joe is so mad
They were both wrong in that big argument. They were so busy venting their pent-up aggression that they forgot how the conversation even started. The best thing I got out of this video is that friends can argue, get over it, and still be friends 10 years later
yeah it’s not like this is uncommon human behavior. they were both being petty and semantic and sometimes people just are or become incompatible. however i think a lot times two people get in these situations where they seem unable to understand each other. it seems like often what it is, is they are now referencing the missing pieces of all the conversations or interactions where an uncomfortable or undesirable valid emotion arose that was meaningful in some way but was not expressed. if this becomes a pattern in anyway it very quickly can establish resentment. Resentment is toxic to relationships and it stands in direct opposition to any good faith mutually beneficial relationship. you can see with these two it’s like the greater point each is trying to make isn’t overtly what they are saying. they still don’t want to openly acknowledge the underlying feelings and so it becomes this petty nonsense conversation. i used to not understand that i was the sole individual responsible for my emotion state and well being. I wouldn’t realize how I was not just complicit in my own resentment i was entirely responsible for it. Blaming someone else for how you feel beyond extreme situations is simply cope. People can and will do things to hurt you, and if it’s someone you care about it’s your responsibility to communicate that effectively. the next stage begins resentment is genuine contempt which good luck reversing that. ITS YOUR FAULT. FOR WHAT YOU DID. TO ME. it’s ugly. and it’s interesting how that’s not intuitive. but the health of a relationship is always dependent on two people. i think the solution to this is the closest you can get to unequivocal fearless honesty. A lot of times it’s uncomfortable to be honest with people you care about. but it truly only gets more uncomfortable the longer you wait. There’s a lot of opportunities to learn deep things about your nature when you seek to understand why you feel uncomfortable being honest. seek to deeply understand the meaning behind your emotions and the resulting behavior. brian didn’t want to tell joe or maybe didn’t know how to tell him that perhaps he’s felt judged trivialized and or belittle by joe. joe didn’t want to be so overt about his feelings of embarrassment and annoyance. it’s ultimately our silly ego. honesty IS the same thing as LOVE.
Nah your bugging, Joe clearly said he did bad, and then clearly implied that he did bad, so redban defended himself and said "I did good" and then joe lost his shit because redban "made it about him". I honestly have never seen a dumber Joe rogan moment, Ive seen him lie about stuff, but hes legit lying about something I watched 20 seconds prior...
Eh I think Joe just has a low ‘complete and utter nonsense’ tolerance. Theo vons appearance is a pretty good example of this since theos whole shtick is to tell weird nonsensical more than likely made up stories and Joe just asked questions and didn’t laugh at all. He also didn’t like Andy dick back when they were on news radio cuz of his constant nonsense. Tbf I also don’t like redban and just find him annoying
The thing is, he asked him “where is this going” and he didn’t stop just talking louder and longer, having to be asked AGAIN “dude what is your point that Olive Garden is better?” Like just say that. He was a dick about it, but I kinda agree with him.
One time in a now deleted episode. Redban did 5 his of acid and Joe started talking about wire tapping with his guest. 10 mins into the conversation Redban comes back into the conversation "what if the world had no wires" (tripping balls) 🤣
This era is the only JRE I actually listened to. It's been weird to see Rogan blow up into this megastar that's arguably one of the most influential media hosts on the planet. Wouldn't have guessed it back in the day when comedy podcasts like this were this weird little thing that a few thousand people were listening to every week.
@@NewWorldCT yeah I don’t listen to his show anymore not even cus of just that like after a hundred episodes you slowly realize he just has the same conversations over and over again. And overtime idk it just isn’t that entertaining anymore. And yeah like you said he has no opinions on controversial subjects or misses the point on things completely especially when it comes to jokes. He takes comedy way to seriously.
Joe definitely said some stuff in that final argument that no reasonable person would interpret any other way than "Your sets aren't very good" then pretended that wasn't what he was implying. In fairness to Joe, seems like Brian learned how to push Joe's buttons and took some delight in it. Time has passed. Joe is more adept at handling situations like this without being as outwardly irritated.
It really grinded his gears because it went against all of Rogan’s preaching about how he got to his place in life from working hard on his “art” for decades. We will never *ever* hear Rogan admit that he got lucky by being offered a major corporate development deal at a young age, and was handed opportunity-after-opportunity from there. It’s got to be about “I pulled myself up by my bootstraps and worked on my craft to get here” so Redban even showing an ounce of confidence 5 years in could not stand 😂
Interesting how back then Joe didn't think anyone wanted to hear a random tangent about Olive Garden. Only to eventually start going on random tangents about saunas and cold plunges. Also, Bert is one to talk about weird segways 😂
Yea I can see that cause Jamie adds to the conversation, when he knows something about the subject and is on topic, and joe never seems to be bothered at all
Holy shit man your right. Goes to show what you can miss when titles tell you what to look for. Previously I'd listen to that clip anticipating Jamie interrupting, never payed attention to exactly what Joe was saying
Meh, Brian sounded either really young or immature. I understand he looked up to Joe and would appreciate some recognition, but he can wait until after the podcast is done. That seems selfish or immature by trying to get acknowledged during the podcast. Hell, it’s not the BRE, it’s the JRE. I asked for your acknowledgment after the shower it’s not about Brian. I had never even heard of this dude Brian until this very moment because he’s not the man of the show. I don’t know, I’ve never listened to a single episode of JRE, so all of this is coming from a person who has no perspective. Nevertheless, Brian was starting every sense with ‘I’ for a damn significant portion of his sentences and that made me want to snap. Snap like the time I did when I found my wife was a dirty whore. Jk, I can’t ever get a freaking wife. Just trying to sound like one of the boys for a second.

Joe could see it coming and going off track so he was light heartedly trying to make jokes and get it away from some personal shit and then Redban starts talking about how good he did. Then Joe decides to REALLY get into it with him, he wasn't coming at him personally, the whole time he was trying to get it back to general but conversation until Redban starts talking about himself.
Joe making things awkward and then gaslighting redban into thinking HE was the awkward one. Joe had a good joke at first making fun of the story, then just killed the energy instead of just leaving it at “that story sucked”
I used to get a big kick out of all the little creative ways he'd sneak that an "7" into each episode. When he brought up a picture of Joey Diaz in his basketball days and he'd subtly photoshopped his vest number to 7 but didn't even mention it was fucking hilarious. Redban is a low-key comedy genius, he just has his own very specific brand of autistic comedy. Brilliant.
Hundreds of 3-hour podcasts equals thousands of hours. Okay guests are a focal point, but almost everyone is gonna sound a bit predictable, stale, and hackneyed from time to time putting out so much content. The real issue with Rogan is he's a spook. Matthew North's Bitchute channel outed him pretty comprehensively a few years ago, but it's obvious if you just look at Bryan Callan (CIA banker father, frequent bizarre sexual innuendo, rape allegations), Eddie Bravo (plays opposite Bryan Callan in the fake JRE engineered conspiracy theory 'debates' - makes conspiracy theorists look like infinitely credulous by blathering flat earth drivel and constantly appearing as a guest on Alex Jones' $hit-show, like either of them have two brain-cells to rub together). Dick Gregory was a comedian-cum-spook (claimed to have purchased the Zapruder film for $1m of his own money, to donate to the American public). Bill Hicks somehow managed to get his hands on video footage of the Branch Davidian compound siege that proved that LEA provoked the final confrontation... Dan Akroyd is regarded as an expert on UFO lore. Yea...UFO lore FFS. GIYF. Bryan Callan's literally the son of a CIA banker. Joe Rogan started off heavily interested & focused on getting to the bottom of conspiracy theories, and ended up hosting a podcast that obviously exists (amongst other things) to discredit them. Brendan Schaub is a painfully unfunny failed attempt by Rogan et al to create a plausible comedian out of an occasionally mildly amusing knucklehead, to say nothing of being a self-centered, insecure douche. Bert Kreischer is a fat nonce cut-out stood up as a comedian beyond his ability to bring it off except to rowdy crowds of beer louts gagging to hear his one story live. Google search term: _"the failed comedian to intelligence operative career path."_

Joe gave Jamie the death stare because the product Jamie said “is weird” was a sponsor of theirs. But yeah, I remember Redban vividly. I was watching since back when it was still at Joe’s house. Btw, these days, Redban’s appearances on Rogan are actually pretty fun episodes. I like how they talk about random stuff.
I miss it. I remember the day they announced they got rid of the pocket p*ssy sponsorship because there were 'certain' people who wouldn't come on because of the association. About two weeks later Ben Shapiro appeared on JRE for the first time.
The last couple of Redban episodes have been weak on Redbans part imo, he doesn't bring up any topics or weird stuff like he usually does. Does anyone remember when they were transitioning from Redban to Jamie and Redban would talk to Jamie like he was stupid? Lol I could tell he was salty
That last clip, Joe was being a jerk, but sometimes when your just so fed up with a person everything they do is an affront to you, and it’s hard to realize that, because you genuinely feel like you have a reason to be angry but in actuality, your just being irritable and you don’t realize it.

@Party God yes because I didn’t know the word produced lmao, get a life. Saying he was the first producer is shorter than saying he was the first to produce both
Joe never fired Redban. Redban started getting very busy producing other people's podcasts (most of whom joe convinced to get into it and had redban set them up with equipment). After that Redban started working consistantly for a handful of comics and earns a really solid income now from it. Redban got onto JRE because he knew how to help Joe get the equipment setup and keep everything running, that's still what Redban does today. People always gotta make something out of nothing. Guess what? My current dentist is different than the one I had 5 years ago, but it's because I moved. I didn't fire my dentist.

It’s clear why he wouldn’t treat Brendan this way, Brendan is always in full ass kissing mode, and has been since day one. Joe found Brendan annoying for other reasons and then the shit giving stemmed out of that. Even when Brian had valid points in that argument Joe glossed over them because that’s not why he’s angry, he was just fed up with him period. Its like watching the breakdown of two friends who try to go into business together or live together in real time. Once they weren’t connected in an official capacity they have been fine
This is what I call "little brother" syndrome, where people fight like brothers and one person or both can't let go of the argument. It's just part of the dynamic and it's very hard to shake between some people, especially certain old friends.
Never seen that Rogan and Redban conversation but Joe handled it wrong. He put out his own co worker on the spot because he was having a hissy fit. Team Redban on this conversation
For sure. Tony plays off it well at times, but you can also see him ge tirritated. Same with the band butting in more frequently. He is experiencing Jeremiah all over again.

No he didn't. Joe Rogan's podcast is not kill Tony. Redban works well on kill Tony because half the point of kill Tony is that people get ruthlessly made fun of, and Brian usually deserves to be made fun of. If conversations constantly stopped and turned into an argument, or just got annoying because redban said some dumb shit, JRE wouldn't be nearly as successful as it is.
You’re spot on when at the beginning you said how Brian was annoying but it also kind of sucked when he left because his stupidity and watching Joe get mad at him was pretty entertaining
I think that Redband has started some of the greatest podcasts in the field where comics reside. He is especially great for the Killtony crowd where Hinchcliff and Brian can riff more freely. Joe runs on discipline and tightness and obove all. Sometimes, intellectual deep conversations. Brian seems like he wanted to contribute "humor" into areas that weren't at all what joe wanted. I'm just happy to see Redband as a regular guest where there is good vibes throughout the podcast. Brian is the man.

Let me take a wild guess: you have problems taking constructive feedback, even if it comes from a person with your best interests at heart, as in with Joe and Brian.
2:28 this is why I have a huge soft spot for Redban. He was there at the beginning. Those clips were called Joe Show and they were extremely well done, so creative and funny. They even had an opening song of Joe speak singing about “just do what you wanna” which is his life philosophy. Back when Joe was up and coming & still shook hands after his sets, Redban would make a funny face in every photo (Bah face) and upload them all to MySpace.

@@zmattchiasson yeah ive always called him joe "shouting is comedy" rogan
What does this have to do with redban
Was this comment left by Redban himself? wtf does that have do with the video

It reminded me of when Super Dave flamed Norm MacDonald on their first episode, hilarious
okay but calling what he does “a piece of art” is dumb as hell 😂 Redban’s Olive Garden Butthole song is more art.
Still I feel like joe could’ve waited till after the podcasts to call him out. Maybe he did and Brian continued to be that way and that’s why joe is so mad
Explain Cumtown then smart guy. Also im gay
so many podcasts and streams are ruined by the hosts thinking every thought they have is worth saying.

Young Jamie watches that episode once a day as a daily reminder
Meh, Brian sounded either really young or immature. I understand he looked up to Joe and would appreciate some recognition, but he can wait until after the podcast is done. That seems selfish or immature by trying to get acknowledged during the podcast.
Hell, it’s not the BRE, it’s the JRE. I asked for your acknowledgment after the shower it’s not about Brian. I had never even heard of this dude Brian until this very moment because he’s not the man of the show.

GIYF.

Alot of Joe's best podcasts were with just rogan and redban bullshitin around cracking jokes telling funny stories.Once he started getting Niel degrees tyson and Jordan peterson the podcast started to get boring.
@@cameronking3551 It was long before those two went on. I remember distinctly it was when he first had Sam Harris on. He clearly became obsessed with coming off as an intellectual and started to talk slowly the same way people like Sam do to try to sound as smart as possible.
If you've listened to Joe Rogan on Opie & Anthony Show back in the day you can hear that he never sounded that way in his whole life until his mid-40s when Sam came around on his podcast. Then it was all of sudden Joe Rogan, wannabe intellectual.
@@joeblo1111the same thing happens to Twitch streamers over time or anyone else who speaks to an audience for hours a day. You are reading way way too much into it. Also, Joe spoke with that exact same cadence and tone when he hosted Fear Factor.
@@MausAgain80 No he didn't.
Joe definitely did Brendan a huge disservice by not calling him out.
Until the other day. Accountability
@@dinah259 "Until the other day"? What do you mean? Did i miss something?
Joe wasted his call out by telling Brendan to quit fighting... He feels bad calling him out again for his comedy
@@qcrew2938 you guys are forgetting that Joe did that out of genuine concern for Brendan's health and well being. Comedy doesn't have long term health consequences. Also, I'm sure Joe wouldn't put him on blast twice om his podcast, it would happen behind closed doors. And I doubt it would involve telling him to stop doing comedy, it would most likely involve telling him to quit being an idiot, and not to go telling people they had this conversation.
Imagine how many horrible amateur comedians are hitting the circuit because Rogan says to “just do it man.”
I hated Redban when he was on but used to feel sorry for him when Joe went at him. However imagine living with Brian. Eventually it would turn to hate
Joe never has a problem talking about how “great” his sets were for hours on end though. I miss Redban. Him, Joey Diaz & Eddie Bravo were always a wild time lol
Joes standup is literally ass. He talks like he’s Carlin. He’s awful.
Eddys been scared of being himself on the after the Alex jones pod. People went after him hard for interrupting. Brian is funny but his style of arguing back is super cringey. It sounds like his feelings are hurt 😅
exactly joe constantly talks to comedians about how good his sets go then says to redban how good did u get in 4 months insinuating he wasn't so good then acts apalmed when he defends himself in saying he wasn't so bad so wheres this comparison come from lol
Joe Rogan the mecca of knowledge and the benchmark for American intelligence 😅
Joe is lucky his podcast gets views cos his stand up is worse than being anything I've had the misfortune of hearing.
"I'm sorry you have to deal with his laugh"... subscribed.
Joe is so 6:00 "you're awkward" lmao, Joe you're the one
Tim Dillon took what Brian was trying to say about Olive Garden and spun it into gold with his Coporate Steakhouse bit
Never seen that Rogan and Redban conversation but Joe handled it wrong. He put out his own co worker on the spot because he was having a hissy fit. Team Redban on this conversation
What are you talking about?
That berating was hilarious and better than whatever they were talking about before.
It’s hilarious because Redban randomly saying nonsense is now one of the greatest things about Kill Tony, Joe missed out.
For sure. Tony plays off it well at times, but you can also see him ge tirritated. Same with the band butting in more frequently. He is experiencing Jeremiah all over again.
its perfect for kill tony, not JRE
@@countrycorner9337correct!
dude redban is dog shit on kill tony as well… tony literally gets mad at him every other ep 😂 when has brian ever been funny on kill tony? literally been watching kill tony for years redban is terrible 😂 never gets references cause he’s some old ass man, can’t find songs tony wants him to play 80 percent of the time and always plays random sounds
I always thought it was weird when the JRE had a large portion of the screen dedicated to Redban just sitting there watching/listening.
watching/listening/quietlymasturbating
Watching these old Clips Redban was trolling tf out of Joe lmao
You’re spot on when at the beginning you said how Brian was annoying but it also kind of sucked when he left because his stupidity and watching Joe get mad at him was pretty entertaining
Joe pissed-"Do you realize this is a podcast?" Hahaha
He didnt treat Joe like the second coming of christ and rogans ego couldnt handle that
He just derailed the conversation way too many times.... He's also a bumbling idiot who stutters non stop
Does anyone remember Brian's gas station boner pill monologue? That seems like the turning point of the podcast for me.
You know what's even more entertaining? good guests Joe has on
16:18 Rogan having “25 minutes of murder” is his best joke
I think that Redband has started some of the greatest podcasts in the field where comics reside. He is especially great for the Killtony crowd where Hinchcliff and Brian can riff more freely. Joe runs on discipline and tightness and obove all. Sometimes, intellectual deep conversations. Brian seems like he wanted to contribute "humor" into areas that weren't at all what joe wanted. I'm just happy to see Redband as a regular guest where there is good vibes throughout the podcast. Brian is the man.
Tony gets pissed for Redban derailing the show almost every episode..
*Redban
lol he sits on kill tony with a freaking SOUNDBOARD like a bad radio jockey. And he frequently uses it in the wrong situations. He sucks, he just got lucky.
@@Toxodosso where do people who suck and are unlucky go? The TH-cam comments?
Joe Rogan talking like he's some fabulous stand up comedian is 'preposterous!!' It's 'crazy man!!' It's 'wild...'
Rogan says "HE MURDERED ON STAGE" too much. "HES A MURDERER!"
Everybody I recommended to Rogan back in the day always made fun of him for calling himself a comedian.
Joe was wrong for taking Brian down a peg for no reason. Brain was just happy that he was getting better.
“I go from joke to joke to tag to tag”
Never gets tiresome hearing a comedian do a serious, technical description of the “art”.
The “craft”🤣
The process.
The product
Joe’s great at many things, stand-up comedy is not one of them!
You civilians wouldn't understand.
This was like the dichotomy of friends breaking up and not really being close friends anymore.
The fighting , being on each others nerves , and the professional working relation ship is finished.
You know it’s bad when bert offers to not drink 😭
rogan is literally the most sanctimonious person on earth
I feel like your comment beats him out.
^^
Sanctimonious: making a show of being morally superior to others.
Let me take a wild guess: you have problems taking constructive feedback, even if it comes from a person with your best interests at heart, as in with Joe and Brian.
that may be true if I knew what it meant
2:28 this is why I have a huge soft spot for Redban. He was there at the beginning. Those clips were called Joe Show and they were extremely well done, so creative and funny. They even had an opening song of Joe speak singing about “just do what you wanna” which is his life philosophy. Back when Joe was up and coming & still shook hands after his sets, Redban would make a funny face in every photo (Bah face) and upload them all to MySpace. I was in college at the time and loved it so much.
Weird how Joe's life philosophy is Crowleyism
@@zack3799 facts lol
Joe’s show in the early days was mile times better than the echo chamber bull shits it’s turned into today
@@zack3799 exactly !!!!! When I read that first thing that pop in my head was “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
By Aleister Crowley, The Book of the Law. but then its hollyweird I Guess you can’t go far without messing in the occult shit
@@captainbananapants7211 Its no surprise, it's just the standard ethos of the day. The occult has long infiltrated everyday people's philosophy, unbeknownst to most of them. I would assume Joe thinks Crowley/LaVey is cool on a superficial aesthetic level but doesn't have the self awareness to realize he's unwittingly adopted the worldview and is suckin' on satans Johnson. Honestly, I should pray for the man instead of just talking crap.
that olive garden story was 100x more interesting than anything i've heard joe say
Joe only looked at Jamie like that because they were a sponsor or prospect sponsor, and Jamie called it weird while Joe was talking about how cool the product was
The news story with Olive Garden in it had me DYING! 😂😂😂
I found out about JRE once Jamie was already producing. I can say confidently that if Redban had remained the producer bringing up OG and interrupting all the time, it wouldn't be as big as it is now. And i love me some OG.
@pi8-yr6ct i do agree that Rogan's stand-up isn't that great. But i just mean to say as far as the podcast goes, i think he would have struggled to get the more "serious and academic" type of guests on if Redban was derailing things all the time.
brian redban is lowkey my favorite side guy. He is the perfect sidekick for any host of any show he is so unintentionally funny as fuck. On kill tony he is so funny accidently tony makes fun of him, but Brian Redban and joe rogan has a unhealthy personality clash they argue so serious it really awkward but tony knows how to defuse brain and use him for jokes .
Kill tony is perfect for redban. Tony just shits on him most of the time 😂
@@suniixxsav kill tony was literally the best show I've ever consumed. Like u said the formula was literally perfect the old band was the final touch. The new kill tony episode only remind me to search kill tony 2017-2018 epsidoes n watch them.
And yes about the brian n tony like I said tony is the one that knows how to control he uses Brian as a joke all the time but he is so good at these things that he does in a way he is making fun of him without hating on him. But Brian is low-key fuvking hilarious indirectly he is very likable person he also tells the truth when no one else is not willing n stuff.
Ppl hate on him but I think he is funny n interesting but Brian n Joe fight so unhealthy n serious that even watching through screen makes me uncomfortable lol I think tony defused Brian's disagreeableness with humor that point out the external factor when joe just keeps on going with the goal to want to beat Brian into submission which fuels more disagreeablness .
Lol I can't believe I wrote that much about other ppl I watching through podcasts lol
@@suniixxsav but kill tony is perfect bkoz of tony the host virtues n skills always gets lost because they're the one in control n infront of you but lol when u think bout it lol just look at the episode of" kill Jeremiah " without tony the panel where awkward n fighting n which makes everything extra funny

Redban is a constant momentum killer on kill tony. Hasn't absorbed an ounce of comedic talent over the years which is actually kind of impressive. Good chance he hangs out with freshman in high-school to steal the "funny" things they say
Yea, when the guy says "well anyway" and Joe cuts back in and says "I heard SUNDAY was rough" that's Joe keeping it going.
Redban is the godfather of comedy podcasting and arguably the most important non-comedian to the stand-up world as it is today, before becoming a stand-up himself. He's easily the most taken for granted and deserving of recognition amd thanks.
Joe didnt fire him, redban started producing for other comedians because joe convinced them to start podcasts and he got busy doing full time audio engineering podcast for a lot of comedians. He literally started his own network. Redban brought jamie to joe rogan
Yeah he was doing your mom's house in the beginning and he did ari shaffirs pod as well.
He probably deserves more props than he gets
I also think dudes are genuinely friends and Joe is a good dude and you don’t mix friendship and business
Kill Tony was blowing up around the time Brian stopped producing JRE. People forget this
@@kennyfnpowers707 And he produced YMH for its initial run. Helped Tom and Christina set uo everything. And he produced the podcast with Esther Povitsky and Brody Stevens
I'm not sure if Joe was upset with Jamie in that clip or just utterly shocked that Jamie talked.
The exercise machine was a sponsor of the show the dude that makes these clips seems like a smart enough guy to know that but purposely chose to not acknowledge it
Joe gaslighting Brian in that last argument is quite disgusting and can tell that Joe loves himself so much that others can’t be good around him and talk about it.
That last conversation, Joe was absolutely being passive aggressive in pretending he wasn't putting Brian down. Honestly he sounded a lot like Greg Opie Hughes
nailed it! i was wondering who that reminded me of.
Which episode is it??
Joe puts Brian on the defensive and then called it bragging when he defended himself.
"Could you imagine going to Olive Garden with this guy" is one of the funniest sentences I've ever heard
the funniest part of this video was Joe saying he's ever had 25 minutes of murder
on god dude is as funny as a gym sock
He has public persona and a unique delivery. No stage fright. Joe Rogan is NOT funny. I agree 100%
He is a better podcaster.
Have you seen him live? Surprisingly good
Joe is funny he’s not chapelle or burr but he’s def funny
He acted like the kid in class trying to distract the teacher until the bell rings lmfao
Bert pointing out someone interrupting is too good
10:32 you nailed it. He should’ve focused on JRE. But honestly separating probably saved there friendship. Fun fact, Brian was the one filming Joe’s confrontation with Carlos Mensteala. That’s probably where it all began honestly. 2007 to 2009. JRE has been on for 13 years now technically.
