The only thing cooler than the video, and the tunes, is the "Crappy Tire" bag sitting on a tool bench. Respect from a fellow HOSER :) 16m18secs I'm not going as advanced - with coil-overs, just happy to find a video of the same year make/model (2010 Hatch), as me, so I can do my own Strut/Coil Spring/Mount assembly. Seems easy enough. Much appreciation from the "Banana Belt" in Ontario.
Who doesn’t love Canadian tire? 😅 appreciate the comment! I have filmed almost every part of this build so far!th-cam.com/play/PLM44x1RALdM-bH0The-qHDgUF9cCtn8EN.html
@@DanielKellert i just swapped out my original suspension, after 190,000km. you made the reinstallation of the rears far easier than I was able to do it. argg. so much fighting to get the bolts back in.
When adjusting ride height in the rear, do you need to unbolt from the control arm? When i try to adjust mine lower, i’m able to spin the strut a couple full rotations but that’s it, and it’s definitely not at its lowest height. The adjustment procedure should be exactly the same as the front, right?
Do you know if wagon coilovers will fit the regular sti ? Btw how comfortable are those bc ? I’ve had fortune autos and they’re super comfy compared to teins or function and forms. Looks sick with the wide wheels and drop
@@connor158 are they used? If they are try hooking your adjustment tool on to the top ring and hitting it with a hammer to crack them loose. Spray some lube on the threads as well. They seize in place super easy over time
Got them from ProTuningLabs. You get similar ones from OEMassive too! I got the ProTuningLabs ones because some people were having issues with moisture getting in the OEMassive ones.
They are just protectors for the spring, you could leave them on if you want. Doesn’t really make a difference, I just like the clean look without them.
Thanks for this mate. Good video, Looks sick!

How is ride quality? is it bumpy? spring rate is 8k front and rear right?
Would they fit on 2013 sti sedan?
is it okay to adjust the ride height like u did with the rear but instead in the front?
Yup! That’s how you adjust them when you have them bolted up!
@@DanielKellert so i tried and it wont budge, its not corroded either... any ideas?

at 2:40 you mention the covers that you need to take off. Are these some kind of transportation protection or what are these for?
