Oh yes. Since the mid-90's Volvo's premium audio lineups have always been about class leading audio quality. My 14 year old S60 with the premium audio package doesn't have that much punch in the bass department but what it DOES do well is give both DEEP bass (thanks to 8" woofers in the front doors and rear deck) as well as shockingly good mids and highs, even when you hit the amp's distortion threshold.

J High Polestar, since their Polestar 1 unveil has dissociated themselves from Cyan Racing. The blue scheme is owned by Cyan Racing and they still use them in their Lynk&Co WTCC touring cars.
Their color scheme is now Black/White/Gold which could sound boring but it’s really gorgeous in reality. The new Polestar Engineered badge has become white, even on the Optimization option :)
Now we need an S40!
Volvocloud not going to happen , there will be a XC40 Coupe style vehicle replacing the V40 in the future. The 40.2 concept which would be the new S40 is now the new Polestar 2.
Why, no
It would be not as good looking as S60, if it will ever happend.
@@nq76 Coupe today means 4 door with a sloping roof. That definitely seems to be in the works. It kind of makes sense for Volvo. Sedans just aren't selling as well as SUVs. I wish they were, but they aren't.
I would love to see sport trim of this car with legendary 5cyl turbo petrol engine.Dont get me wrong. Its by no means a slow car,but its missing that "purring" of 5 cyl
I always wanted an s60 r but these new ones look nice 👀
I currently have an 08 s80 v8 and i really wish volvo would bring back the 4.4 liter unit and downsize and refine it to a 4 liter awd hybrid.
I was tempted to trade for a 2019 S60 T5 R-Design Polestar. I couldn’t find a comfortable steering wheel position and I was too scared of what the potholes might have done to the 19 inch wheels and suspension. If our roads in South Carolina were better built (like European roads) then I’d seriously think it would an option. I think I may just purchase the TRD FOX shocks to make my 4Runner smooth over all road conditions.
Nice I currently drive a Volvo xc90 2009 . Love the model. Volvo all the way.
I WILL own one of these in that shade of Red
1:10 Watch out for that snowbank, dude
best audio quality
Just ordered the v60 t6 with the polestar upgrade
You got beautiful hands man.
Man they really knocked it out of the park. I think electric Volvos will be quite something once they get around to that. Because this kind of interior/exterior and electric power, woohoo.
Look up Polestar
its the new thing because the record time for hillclimb at pikes peak was smashed by an all electric vehicle instant 100% torque
After watching this video many times, I took delivery of this exact car in black yesterday and am absolutely in love! Its amazing!! Lots to learn with all the tech but so far very impressed. It was between this and the new BMW 330 and for the money the Volvo has many more features (and more power!)
Is the car reliable?
How's it right now? Still good? U alive after covi?
@@FRFM00 I gave it back two years ago, lease was up & it needed new brakes! Alive and well thank you!
I’m 16 have my learners permit no we’re close to getting my car but I think I found my car! It’s so so good and I love the look of it all
I love that road and this area, so suitable to test a car I love it
I have the exact same built, my only complain is that cabin noise is very loud when you drive 75+ mph on highway. Other than that, perfect car.
The music surprised me, that's pretty good quality speakers in that car
The reference to the 02 s60 made me laugh as I had the 01 and terrible turning radius, too 😂
This car is beautiful. It has a few drawbacks, one is the controls of air conditioning, must be by a phisical button in order to operate without see it. Now a days, a lot of drivers are doing sways while touching and operating screens. It's very dangerous.
Voice control.
I would buy it in a heartbeat
I have a 2013 volvo s60 with the 5 cylnder turbo and it is absolutely amazing you get the fiz locking it and folding the mirrors
Even our 2008 v70 has folding mirrors
That is pure perfection.
It looks like the model you tested got the leather dashboard with stiching. On the volvo us website, it's impossible to have the R-line and leather-stiched dashboard. Is it a pre-production version that you tested ?
I’m picking up a 2019 S60 R design and your video has me so excited. I’ve owned some fun cars but this looks perfect for my life right now. How would you setup your individual settings?
Do you still have it? Do you like it?
Love the look though I miss the old 3.0 liter inline 6. They should offer manual transmissions too imo.
Beautiful car, I imagine it looks even better in the other colours. I myself am not a fan of the orange colour.
I’d love to see Volvo put out some more fast cars, there’s absolutely a market for them, especially here in Europe.
Orange? It looks red to me
At 15:23 the rattle is there because the sound systeam is very powerful or they didn’t sitelasion right or enough
Good job from NYC MAN!
my dad has the 2016 version. sure, it's a lot older and not very equipped (it isn't even automatic and doesn't have any wow features), but it's still a great car. volvo did a good job on their cars
The design is so good, the only car is on par with this is A5 and maybe 3 series which is close but not quite.
id put the mazda3 GT awd turbo in there too, similar but lower cost. impressive car for the price. audi need to step up their game luxury wise for their price
it's a really nice view to see a car.
those roads man, they are so good
Karad 98 first world countries
You’re first music choice gave me slight concern, but you quickly rectified that young man! Thanks for another great video.
Hehe
I owned a 2013 Volvo S60 and i loved it. however, i cant get over the new design of the S60. i wish i had one now rather than years ago.
Those who stick to this channel because of the 2017 range rover sport autobiography video, raise your hands
Kudos to Volvo! Thanks for the awesome reviews!!
Great review and amazing video quality!
Sound looks gorgeous!!!
Impressive sound system ✌🏻
Great review! I may consider this over a Lexus IS
Nice car, and the Speedmaster. (;
Love ur videos ❤ keep it up!!
Looks like a reliable, quite, comfortable, good looking car, hope it was bit cheaper
Quite what?
@TheTopher, thoughts on this vs an Audi A4? I'm considering either this or the A4, but everyone has an A4. Specifically, my question is, which do you rank higher in performance, comfort, snow handling and reliability over the long run? Would really appreciate your insight, thanks.
I am now comparing this to the '21 TLX. Man what a tough decision!
What did you go with?
@@Landrenk I actually ended up getting a new 2020 Volvo S90 T6 R-Design with Polestar tune for an unbelievable price. In fact, it was less than a ‘21 TLX A-Spec. So needles to say I’m thrilled. The S60 is fantastic, but having the extra cabin and trunk space was nice plus for me.
@@clarkgourguejr do you still have it? Like it?
@@woody7155 I had it up until August when it was hit while it was parked (no one hurt, and I wasn't in the car). It ended up considered totaled by the insurance co. I now have a '22 XC60 Recharge R-Design Extended Range. I miss that car (a local body shop bought from salvage, fixed it up and is now selling it). The XC60 is a little bit of a downsize in rear/trunk space, but otherwise the it is better than the S90 in almost every other aspect.
