Hereford 1642 - Historic 3D city creation project. Indie Unreal Engine RPG by Jack Hodges

3d graphics could be our only means of exploring the past and seeing a world that is no more, unless we invent a time machine. See a real city (Hereford England) from the year 1642 the year of the first civil war in England that lead to the parliamentarian victory at the battle of Worcester. The siege of Hereford took place in 1645 during the English Civil War when the city of Hereford and its English Royalist garrison was besieged by a Scottish Covenanter army under the command of the Earl of Leven.
In this video you will see Hereford Castle that was demolished it withstood an unsuccessful Scottish siege in 1645. It was eventually sold to Sir Richard Harley and several of his friends but it then went into decline. Most of what remained of the castle seems to have been destroyed in the 1650s and the stone used for other buildings within the city.

That's nice of you to say. I hope it fills that hole in history a little bit and gives people a chance to see what it might of been like. 3d graphics are a great way to see these things. I hope to have people in the game by the end of the year ❤

I love kingdom come deliverance and this reminds me of that but in our local city! I am imagining dlc of missions to Dore Abbey and Goodrich castle!

I love that game dearly. After playing I got inspired to build Hereford, it has the same size map as KCD. I hope KCD 2 has a big city in it and crafting. To be compared to that game is an honour. Thank you
