      @@agentblackbird9435 I don't think Rapid is considered that good for whatever reason, probably because Dark and Fighting have great offensive synergy and Wicked Blow is very oppressive (Sucker Punch is better priority than Rapid's Aqua Jet too). I'm very curious how Rapid will develop in the wake of Single's ban (which is extremely likely from what I've heard).

      It is pretty common for me to beat Mimikyus without ever bothering to break their disguise. It is easier with good phasing moves or Unaware, a lot of status moves, entry hasards, and a full stall team.
      You can do it too after you learned the Zen of Stall. But learning that requires a strong mind that most people do not have. I suggest you train it by doing a lot orbpuwhups, running a lot, and drinking plenty of juice. A great mind is easier to develop in a trained body.

    I’m more of a casual player than a competitive one, but I recently experimented with passive damage by building a dedicated sand team for a playthrough of Pokémon Platinum. It was one of my favorite in-game teams ever, combining the immense defensive utility of Hippowdon and Clefable with ginormous offense from the likes of Specs Magnezone and Rock Polish Rampardos. It allowed me to appreciate passive damage exactly how you describe it in this video: as a supplement for direct damage. Mamoswine wouldn’t have gotten as many Ice Shard kills as it did without Sandstorm and Stealth Rock up.

    • @iBenjamin1000
      @iBenjamin1000 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      oh yeah that sounds like something I'd like to try. I like to hear about competitive because it's interesting to hear people talk about it. but when I boot up a pokemon I'm mostly interested in taking a casual team I've built up and decided on which critters I want to use, and steamrolling all the ai trainers. so building a competitive team would be a fun way to change up team building.

      @@whydoiexist2180 stall was ok in DLC1 but not great. Most of the tier was bulky balance, not stall. What I meant in the previous comment was stall in its purest form with 6 defensive mons. Such teams see use but in general are terrible as their main source of damage is hazards, which are mitigated by heavy duty Boots. Stall nowadays is forced to run an offensive mon like Dragapult in order to deal any actual damage. If you're using one offensive mon, might as well just make it two offensive mons and use balance

      @@musique-ef3rz oh ok but stall like bkc said needed to actually deal damage (not just passive damage) if you were correct most stall would just be balance

      What about the people who like his extremely detailed and long videos? But I agree, he could mix it up, but it’s not easy if you consider the level of detail and knowledge he provides in his videos

    Comment for the algorithm. Good luck for the 150 teams to build, I'm looking forward to see it !
