Is this village still in habitable? It's a uch a lovely place. I noticed where the mailbox was no longer in use and that several streets were blocked off. It's such a place I would love to live!
This brings back memories of when I visited this village early in the day and there was hardly anyone around. It was strange, nice that it wasn’t teeming with tourists but also odd that there was no one else. It felt like visiting a firm set, which it has been on more than one occasion. Have I g said all that I have lovely memories of that stroll so thank you for bringing that back to me. The music is a beautiful touch. I’m glad you lingered on the treats for sale outside Ellen’s Cottage. I too was charmed by it.
Music is riminicscent of music played during the movie "On Becoming Janeway Jane Austin movie that I watched over so many times couldn't count! Wonderful movie.
How I miss this beautiful place, I stayed in nearby Grittleton while my husband work with Dolby Labs helping them move from London to Wooten Basset It was the best time of my life. Long walks to Castle Combe, wonderful times with wonderful people at the Grittleton Pub, drives to Bath, Badminton. London and other towns, dinners at the pubs with my favorite beer Triple X. I will never forget it
My forebears in the late medieval and early modern period lived in Castle Coombe as shepherds, here in the heart of the old sheep country of ancient 'Wessex'. They sang in the old minstrel gallery in the church. What you see in the church is modern 19th. century and conveys almost nothing of the earlier building! Sheep made good money then, as the tourists do today.
Your videos are exquisite! gorgeous! I just have a suggestion that I believe would make them better … Slow down. For example: you could hold your camera still. Linger on the shot longer. The quick “zoom in zoom out” action you’re doing can overstimulate the brain Panning around the scene to quickly makes the viewer frustrated… We want to linger our eyes on each detail. Give us a chance to do that!😊 I’m a researcher of neurobiology and the brain. In order for people to feel relaxed, The brain must have time to take in the stimulus around it. Quick clips causes brains to feel uncomfortable and anxious, even on a subconscious level. I’d love to watch more of your videos… but I’d also like to feel relaxed in my body. I’d like to feel as if I am actually there with you! Slowly walking through the town and village… Smelling the air, listening to the birds, taking in all the detail! Thank you for visiting these beautiful places and taking time to take video, and edit, and publish it. It’s a big job!

What a lovely community! Never mind 'Warhorse", this community stands squarely on its own merits!
Thanks for letting us enjoy this beautiful hamlet and pleasant music. The only advice I could give, please slower camera captions. ❤️
