Some errors: Galway carried with him 700 Dutch as reinforcements upon his arrival. Not 1700. Don't know why Minas is mentioned in the second siege of Badajoz.

It makes me wonder what they mean by that. I mean a musket isn’t much different than a shot gun. I take it it must be a short barreled larger caliber musket primarily using shot instead of ball.
I have to use a large screen to see the names of the commanders on the maps. Nice work. Thank you very much especially because I never learned much about the war in Spain.
The next episode is going to be split into two parts. Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. Had a lot going on. The next video is in the editing stage. I will be working on it more actively starting Monday.
Hey Marshal, It's Henry. Excellent video, no one really cares about the war of Spanish Succession, even though if France achieved a deceisive victory, the continent would be under French dominance.
Excellent presentation. One relatively minor correction, I hope you don't mind? Berwick, is pronounced by The Scots, and by The English, as Berick. The w within Berwick, as a rule, is always silent. Much of this interesting history is never taught to us here in Blighty. Thank you very much for your brilliant contributions to keep our histories alive.
Just saying but I would love to see a video on the raiding that took place in the Caribbean see during the war of the Spanish succession because it’s from the raiding in the Caribbean that famous pirates like steede bonnet, Blackbeard, Anne Bonny and calico Jack gain their fame and i would also love to see a video on the American theater of the war of the Spanish succession aka queen Anne’s war and I am interested in that war because you see when the treaty of Utrecht was signed the concerns of the Indian tribes were not included and it set the stage for future conflicts including the famous French and Indian war
I liked your video so much. Your videos are full of knowledge I get various knowledge from your video. Perhaps your this video is the best video on you tube on Spanish war of succession not only this video your all videos are nice so bro can you make a video on Skanderbeg please
I found this report interesting and I do find it jaring at times. James FitzJames Duke of Berwick was the bastard son of King James II of England and VII of Scotland with Arabella Churchill (sister of the very famous John Chuchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough). His service with British forces was brief, lasting no more than 18 month as his farther was deposed and he went onto exile, He was a catholic and would not serve under a protistant King & Queen. In English, English the name "Berwick" should be pronounced "Ber" and in "Ber-ry" and "wick" as in a candle. Meaning "The bay (or cove) of Ber. I think you should have also talked more about the Earl of Galway, as this would have presented a counterbalance to the Duke of Berwick. The Earl of Galways was Henri de Massue, a French Huguenot, who entered British service because of French repression of the Huguenots.
You need to articulate better. Nobody with a psychological disability knows what Arafon or Analufe are. Try to make an effort and we will understand you better.

So glad Spain gets its time to shine in the war of Spanish succession

Thank you for the content. This is literally the first time I even considered tipping someone online.
Thank you so much for your support!
Fantastic video once again!
The quality has improved greatly! 👌👌
Also, 18th century shotguns, a great surprise!

Older video issues, I hope newer ones to not be that bad, but it's hard for even larger youtubers to get that part perfected.

Thankyou for your very interesting and informative videos! Just one small point, Berwick is pronounced " Berrick".

You should make an video on Skanderbeg
Don't know much about them, but I will note it down as something to research.
Given the fact that this period,1700-1800,is very under appreciated I can't help but ask.
How did you come to like and research this period ?
Empire: Total War is arguably what got me interested in researching this period more.
Interesting videos!

In due time when I remaster the rest of the episodes.
Just a question - Kind of urgent need it for something,
I was informed that the Marines landed 24th of July, is that a mistake?
It is, the British and Dutch marines landed on the 30th of May.
Spain is such a pain
It's hard country , to operate in if tge locals don't support you , it's always been so since the time of the Carthagians and Romans !

Why is de Fagel pronounced like he is Portuguese?
I tried to find his pronunciation and that's the best I did lol.
@@FieldMarshalYT haha, but why did you try to pronounce it in a Portuguese way when he is Dutch? Or did you try it in Dutch?

"Berwick" should be pronounced "Berick". The "W" is silent.

What would be great is to credit the monkeys of Gibraltar for the Allies' victory.
