I'm dealing with an M80 that was leaking out the pitman arm side of the sector shaft; it was just pouring out. Off my 2001 Monaco Knight 36R motorhome. I tried to get the pitman arm off using a smaller puller and it just broke lol so I've ordered a big one like you used and will try again tomorrow. Thanks so much for the video!
I found one of these on a fire truck .. dust cover was leaking and didnt know any better. Couldn't get the pitman arm off had to pretty much hire someone to get damn thing off. Replace what I needed to get back in service and I'm paying for it today...gotta go back in and replace the rest. FML. But you give me ideas. 💪
What’s the proper way to fix the shaft where the seal has made a groove? If you use a lathe…..how do you take up the slack? I have found these seal kits on eBay. I need to do my 1997 Mack ch613 dump truck. Sheppard m100. Leaking on inner side by frame rail. A shop on atlanta quoted me $550 to do a rebuild and reseal on whole unit. A local parts dealer said they could get me an m100 for my Mack out of Orlando for $1200. October 2022. Unit weighs 90 plus pounds.
i had a machine shop spray weld the shaft to build up the wear groove. there is a seal on the inside of the box near the frame that i replaced without removing the box. pull arm off and then remove the shaft ,install new seal on inside and reinstall parts,was not that hard
You said you could do it on the truck? How you getting that last seal in with it on the truck? That's where mines leaking from. So I gotta go that deep.
@@srandsonsrepair4685 We ended up calling the International dealer and they had the seal kit in stock . Went back together fine and no more leaks . Thanks again !
I was wondering if you had the part number for the Mp parts I have the identical gear box leaking and the international part number I give them isn’t cross referencing

I am tackling this project right now on My IH eagle...Very very similar except 4 bolts on a 9400...
