It's good to hear someone saying positive things about the ride rather than bashing it before even riding it. It took over five years to create the original Jurassic Park ride! what did they expect under 9 months? Overall it looks great.
I watched someone else's ride footage, and... I guess it could be worse. I do love the Blue animatronic. Huge improvement there. Buuuut... the aquarium effect at the beginning doesn't seem very convincing, and I hate how lifeless some of the scenes are. Like, the area where the I Rex enclosure is used to have effects and animatronics, and now it's just... nothing.
@@M1strE I will admit that a lot of my nitpicks are probably just due to bias from all the times I went on the original ride. Had this version been there from the beginning, I'd probably be a lot less critical.
I have a random question. Are you ready for Ghostbusters 2020?! I’m so ready and I met both Ivan Reitman and Jason Reitman and they told me I’m gonna cry. I told them that I wish them the best in production.

Personally I feel like Jurassic Park the ride better because it was really ahead of its time which made it awesome in my mind. I'mjust glad to see you enjoy it, probably the main reason that I watch the channel in the first place since Tony goldmark isn't really doing any themepark reviews but instead doing boring update videos and movie reviews(that seemly are loosely connected to theme parks). Also I enjoy your Universal Studios videos, you seem very knowledgeable about history about the movie studio and the themepark.
I also like to add that I I'm not throwing any dirt on Tony, I still love his theme park reviews. It's just that more casual observation that he seems to be wandering between videos instead of just choosing a particular style to review off of. But hey, I wish him all the best and hope he continues to make great videos.
I didn’t expect soft opening for today! The only way I found out was my manager over at Cletus told us we were going in groups at a time to experience the ride. If I would have known this was going to be a thing I would have come a lot earlier in the park and rode it many times before I had to clock in for work.
Those speculations would be amazing! Especially that cave scene. That would've been so scary!! I wish they would've matured the ride just a bit and make it scary

As a longtime fan of both the Jurassic Park film (my all time favorite movie) and ride, I’m glad to hear that Universal did the attraction justice! By the way, are you planning on making a video about the situation currently happening with Galaxy’s Edge? I’d like to hear your thoughts why Disneyland attendance is at an all time low. I’m thinking it’s a combination of the rising ticket and annual pass prices year after year, Star Wars fatigue/disappointment, and people wanting to avoid crowds (which would be pretty ironic).

I wish they'd give the same TLC to the ride in Florida. It's showing it's age, even after annual winter refurbs.

Here's the thing. The cameras will never do it justice. Seeing it in person is wayyyy better
@@M1strE That is true for the aquarium effect, yes. Still doesn't fix the middle portion being pretty lifeless, though.

Keep the original Jurassic park ride in Florida . Jurassic world is terrible no dinos in a dinosaur ride. Its just boring compared to the original

I've only seen some POV vids, but that blue animatronic is super impressive! I'm excited to see it in person in a couple weeks.
update: I've now been on it and it is way better than the POVs make it seem.
