You guys are insane this is the perfect time to switch QBs.Hank seems like obvious choice or even Walker but Thorne has had enough chances he hasn’t shown what it takes.Now if you told me we’re going to change offense to run 60% to 80%of time maybe.Hanks a gunslinger has the confidence team picks up when he’s in let’s make the move for the future.Hank could move on to be with UAB and his ex coach.Let’s see what he has reminds me of Jaxson Dart when he was at USC.Give him a real chance 6 games would show his abilities.
I’m thinking some of the older players like Scott, Mausi, Keys, Fairweather, etc. are playing to not get hurt as their top priority.

I’m starting to question coaching there is a lot I thought Huge Freeze would have us better at now I’m beginning to doubt him. If he can’t outperform Caddie who had the the team more competitive, discipline, and hungry with less talent and depth no Qb either we may have the wrong person leading our Beloved Auburn fb team.

Hugh should've been coaching these guys harder all along. The loafing that's been allowed by certain players is simply inexcusable and benching is required. We obviously have more problems than just the QB position. The missed blocks and whiffs on tackles have been going on all season and it has to stop. There has to be more discipline and accountability engrained into the culture of this team.
Where has Gage Keys and Trill Carter been? I have not seen them or heard their name it’s odd to me.
Texas did like the 3rd world and sent their misfits to Auburn.

All a defense needs to do is rush 4, contain in flats/mid, spy Thorne, and loose bracket Cam and KLS. We can get consistent 5 yards, but limiting large gains is fairly easy. You have to open up the route tree to exploit openings, but that takes pass blocking, which we haven't had a lot of.
Great so now we have a high wear and tear Thorne for the second half of the season on top of his normal self…

The reason why Coach Freeze continues to roll with PT is because he’s head and shoulders above the others. I also believe next year’s quarterback isn’t on the roster yet.

PT is a good practice player...big deal..he is not a gamer...he plays scared under pressure. Stop blaming the coaching, play calling , receivers etc.....We haven't won the PT so why would expect a different result the rest of season. Give Hank the job, and let him develop. We only have 6 qtrs of work plus 7 of 7 in Bowl Game for Hank. Let's see what HB can do the rest of season b4 we just say...maybe next year.

Offense is obviously better than last year. Explosive plays, more weapons, effective running game. The numbers aren’t bad, turnovers have just killed us. Whether the sheer number of them or the timing. But the O is moving the ball, even against good defenses. Couldn’t say that last year.

Left offensive tackle needs to be addressed. Thorne was getting hammered from the edge rusher(s) winning the one on one battles. This was a blatantly obvious issue during the Georgia game. Patrick Mahomes couldn't be successful with this kind of pressure coming off the edge.
It was a concern in fall camp. That is why Thornton moved Wade and Ty J. to left tackle 2 weeks before first game. Percy has been a major bust. Our offense is missing 2 major positions. Left tackle and Qb. Pass pro has been bad. Run blocking has been pretty good but, Hugh is pass first coach. I have been saying since Cal loss we are better at running and Jarquez is your best player he needs to touch ball at least 20 times a game.

All pass routes are verticals. No shallow crosses no slants. It throw deep or don't throw at all philosophy

If Hugh changes the offense to give Jarquez a lot more carries then he probably isn’t going to average the same amount of yards per carry as it is now. Hugh is trying to throw to TE is because Rivaldo isn’t giving his all this year.

The play y'all keep railing about Cam Coleman not blocking for Thorne was actually Thorne going the wrong way - Thorne cuts inside and he picks up 5-10 yards more . And the pass to Simmons probably should have been caught but the defender blocked Malcolm's vision whereas the one Cam Coleman failed to catch in the end zone on Auburn's first drive in the red zone was a much easier catch . Demarcus Riddick needs more playing time as does Cobb .
And Hank Brown needs to be the QB
We have three games and off week and then three more games. Maybe we need to take this like two more seasons when the next three that are off week. And then go try to win the next three.
